I didn't have a good experience at this place, what-soever. There's a sign that's posted in front of the lounge that reads: "happy hour is from 3-6 daily." We asked about the happy hour and if there was a different menu dedicated for it all together upon coming inside. The girl and the guy behind the bar talked about it and told us that it was 20% off the entire menu. When we got the bill, the 20% was not applied. Upon getting home and looking at their website, it does look like there is a happy hour exclusive menu that we were not told about. So why tell people that the happy hour is 20% off the entire menu selection when it's not? It seems a bit odd to me.It's not about the extra $5.28 for me. It's more about, why go back on what you tell the customer. Because I still paid and tipped. So if you do come here, just be aware that the happy hour isn't daily and it's not what they say it is. Which is unfortunate.

Came here for a company event. We rented out the 2nd floor and we had a dedicated server/bartender. The service was great and the venue (2nd floor) was perfect for about 15 people. There was a minimum to rent out the space (I believe it was $1k) for 2 hours which I thought was reasonable. Surprisingly though, the hard liquor list was quite limited (for a "cocktail bar"). Prices were on the high side but they were not outrageous or anything. Food was decent although, we only got to try the appetizers. Their desserts were great (ice cream and Cronut - which is a deep fried Croissant).

Gorgeous bar and restaurant, bar tender was great and the food looked fantastic. However, one catch. The fried chicken in the sandwich was terrible. It was probably the grease in the frier. It tasted burnt and dirty. So I'll allow for an oversight, however, when I mention it to the bartender the chef comes out and says "We filter the grease daily". Then walks back into the kitchen. No offer to replace the dish, not even an apology, nothing. The friendly bartender drops off the bill with a 20% discount. I'm the only one in the restaurant and it's lunchtime. I leave my plate, pay the tab and walk down the street to eat somewhere else. So I would not recommend this place just under the principle that they do not care about the customer.

I stopped in to Dead Line before the Billy Joel concert and got lucky to find two seats at the bar. The place was packed, but drinks came out pretty quickly, as well as food. The tacos were delicious and any of the food that I saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing. Drinks are quite expensive (more than the food), but it was a fun stop.

Came in for dinner and cocktails and loved the ambiance and decor. Saw about 5 tables of people on dates so very intimate and romantic. The bar has a large selection of liquors and has a great cocktail selection, made with fresh ingredients. The customer service was excellent. They checked on us often and gave great recommendations.Food was delicious. We got the chicken sandwich and the jumbo shrimp. Shrimp was on the pricey side for 3 shrimps. But it was huge. The chicken sandwich was crispy and juicy with perfectly cooked fries.Cocktails, we got the old fashion and the Casamento. Both wonderful made and tastyParking is a little difficult,

It's the vibe, the ambiance... and the craft cocktails. The food is decent as well... it's more like the total package. The empanadas were tasty and an order (two of them) is suitable for sharing. The arepa's was solid as well. It's a cozy place with polite and pleasant staff. It's the sorta place that locals and those passing through seem comfortable in.

Great atmosphere and service. We got a few things to share. My favorite were the spicy fish tacos they had a nice kick and were freshly fried. The Brussels sprouts were different and if you like a spicy vinegar taste they would be for you. Lastly the chorizo Mac and cheese again different and not bad. They have a fun bar with majority of spirts you'd be looking for. They bartenders take great pride in mixing up specialty drinks if you tell them what your thinking Note: $27 for whistle pigAtmosphere 5Service 5Drinks 4Food 3Value 3

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. If you're in Seattle and you haven't visited Dead Line, you're missing out on an experience of a life time. This isn't just a place to grab drinks with a date or a friend, no this is an EXPERIENCE. Let me set the scene: imagine stepping into a space where classy meets experimental in the most bizarre yet delightful fusion possible. The vibes were immaculate. The chef creates amazing dishes to absolutely die for. The Feijoada? If you don't order that dish, you don't know what you're missing out on. The bartenders exceeded my expectations beyond imaginable. The drinks they created were unlike ANYTHING I've ever had. They will create something just for you. Made me feel special, it was nice. Big props to my bartender, Kalvin. He is extremely good at what he does and if he's working while you're there you will be guaranteed a memorable day.The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. You aren't treated like a guest here, but you're treated as family. The staff is very nice and attentive. I've been here multiple times and every time was eventful to say the least.Give Dead Line a try, I promise you'll be leaving more than satisfied!
