I'm not sure how this restaurant has such high ratings but I was very sad with my most recent visit here. The location of this establishment is in a small shopping center. There are no seats and it is a takeout only. It shares its kitchen with a few other restaurants, including a pizza and taco place.As an egg aficionado, this place was a huge disappointment. The egg was definitely baked and the cheese was not melted on top. The special sauce tasted like a mix of sriracha and ketchup. The cost is also a lot for what you are getting size and quality wise. It was just a sad experience in general and I will not be returning.

Someone forgot to prepare me for the Texas sandwich. Lord, that sandwich challenged my manhood! This sandwich was a complete meal within itself! Tender brisket, fried egg, bacon, cheese, all on a soft bun. This sandwich had to have been close to 8-10 ounces. It was thick and delicious.I also ordered the sweet potato nuggets. They were great. Overall, I am ordering again from DoorDash.

The food here is Awesome but the staff is RUDE AF. Lady at the counter was a real you know what. I am not from around here so I drove to the address but its inconspicuous location so I called and when I asked where they were located she gave the address and as I was trying to get more information she acted as If she was annoyed. When I get Inside she was just rude. Very put off to have customers. Straight attitude. Food is great but I would never come back nor would I recommend anyone else go. Spend your money somewhere where they want you to come and enjoy the food they prepare. Some people should not work in customer service. Its probably bc Im white. Ive noticed in Philly seems to be a real issue.

Holy cow this jawn was delicious... a little Too much so for the morning might I say.But definitely a great way to start the day, super excited to enjoy again

Needed something hearty for breakfast and saw the good reviews. We were just there for a couple of days from AZ and 1st time in Philly so we did not know what to expect. The area is a bit scary but as soon as we parked - everyone there was great. Anyhow the best breakfast sandwiches we've had - hands down. They are huge and so savory - son loved the one with brisket. My fav was the bacon!

Been a frequent customer for about 10 months. Amazing service and add-on options and even better food. EASY contender for best breakfast in Philadelphia. Always bring out of towners here when I give a food tour and they always say that their Day Break meal was the best they had during their stay. "I know you took us to that place written up in NYT (Middlechild) but I really think the breakfast sandwich from the place in the parking lot was better (Day Break)."There is not a single detail they overlook-- when you order an iced coffee it comes with a "cold kit," Including multiple sweetener options, creamers, and a straw. Maybe even a stir? It's a little thing that isn't even food but it demonstrates how much care they take.

Our first visit to The Whip Tavern was amazing! Went for the haggis, but we were too early, served after 4pm. Ordered the scotch egg, fish and chips, and the shepherds pie. Each one was very good. First time we tried the egg. Will definitely be going back with friends. The staff is super friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. The only downside is the parking lot. We had to wait for someone to leave.

Posted my main review on google but had to add something else. THANK YOU for NOT putting the nutella sauce inside the container with the food too many food places do this and it's super gross when you think about how many things it's touched. The food is a 10/10. Service was on point. 100% recommend!

This place fell off. The egg wasn't scrambled . More like an egg patty. And not to mention they put the cheese on the bottom bread with the bacon. I believe the cheese should be scrambled with the eggs ..anyway I was unsatisfied
