This place is so cute and the guy here is so cute too! Their fudgy chocolate sprinkled donut is to die for. Go here instead of other donut chains if you wanna see some cute guys.

Nothing like a local Donut! Best Donut I had in a long while and service was efficient and sweet.

We come here a lot for teacher gifts like donuts and kolaches. The donuts look round and fluffy and in the morning they are so fresh and good with coffee. It's hard not to eat them before drop off!

My wife and I went for the first time and it's honestly one of the best shops I've been to. The father and son combo are very friendly and super sweet, and the food is amazing! We got plain glazed donuts and the large kolaches, and even though we went right before close, they were still super fresh. We will be back!!!

Located just across from NRG Stadium, Dawn Donuts is one of my favorite donut shops in the city. It might not look like much on the outside, but this Asian-owned biz offers some tasty donuts, kolaches, and pastries, along with affordable prices and outstanding customer service.The old school, no frills vibe is evident all throughout. There is no inside seating and it's completely a takeout only situation. Behind the counter is a lovely Vietnamese family constantly running around the kitchen to make things work..The process is simple. Head up the counter and order whatever is in the display case. They tend to run out in the morning. The kolaches and donuts are on point, but in particular the maple bars and the old fashioned have been my go-tos for awhile.They always give me something extra be it donut holes or a ton of random donuts.The prices are very reasonable and they also accept credit cards.

The reviews seemed pretty good, so we decided to try this place for donuts. The donuts weren't spectacular, but they were *mostly* edible. The Vietnamese coffee was so, so bad though. It tasted like old dirty coffee with cream and a couple ice cubes. The bottom of the coffee was loaded with coffee grounds. It was the worst coffee I have EVER had. Could it have been an off day? Perhaps, but I don't understand the positive reviews. This place wasn't just bad- it was gross, and I will never go back.

We were craving kolaches....So, we decided to drive to Dawn Donuts. I'm glad we did. The shop looks like it's family owned. We got several types of kolaches. The spicy boudin was great. The jalapeño & sausage was lacking spice. I liked that they have small size version. All in all, we were very satisfied. The guy tending to us gave us some free donut holesWe did tell him that we saw them on Yelp. We ended up getting donuts as well. We plan on going back.

Incredible customer service, better donuts. Sausage with Jalapeno & Cheese Kolache, Donut Holes, Glazed Donut, all incredible and would recommend!
