Impeccable service, very tasty food, excellent presentation and very fresh. We were pleasantly surprised at the strong but refreshing flavors. The starter was a shrimp, pork belly and papaya salad with a fish sauce and lots of lemony lime tartness. We followed that with spring rolls and dipping sauce. For the main dish, we got a large family seafood hotpot and it was chock full of large pieces of fish, scallop, shrimp, beef, pork, and an assortment of vegetables. Rice noodles with the broth had the perfect consistency and we asked for more noodles and it was happily supplied.Special mention was the lady who kept our iced water pitcher full (2 times) and supplied extra napkins. She was so efficient! Overall a great experience and quality meal. This is on the highly recommended list!

Decided to have lunch at this shop before hitting up the bakery next door for dessert and to my surprise was DELICIOUS! I love lotus salad because of the crunchy lotus roots, fresh mints, and jellyfish bouncy, crunch (if that makes sense). The sauce was 10/10 and ingredients were amazing. I would have liked a little more variety of mints, but I'm sure availability is hard to come by compared to SoCal. Though I would have liked a little more jellyfish, it was packed with lots of shrimp and squid, which made up the rest of the protein. The Bun Bo Hue was packed with meat! We did not expect the bowl to be so huge, but was shocked it was so big! It was perfectly flavored with that shrimp paste and not overly salty or spicy! They gave a lot of meat with tendon (my favorite)! I did miss the fresh sliced banana flower, but again I understand that availability is probably not the same as SoCal. The noodles were slightly overcooked in my opinion, but they were pretty busy and I'm not mad bc of how much meat they poured into our bowl. Definitely, recommend if you're in the mood for some authentic Vietnamese cuisine (you can tell it's authentic when you see kids sitting at the counter lol!)

Chef An Nguyen of Dân Dã was actually the owner of Savoury Vietnam before this, and her parents ran New Saigon for decades before it was sold to its last owners -- so it's great to see her open this concept in 2024, when we saw both of the aforementioned Denver mainstays recently close.Things we tried (and devoured) included steamed cherrystone clams, soft shell crab, a DIY roll / appetizer tower, whole fried seabass, scallop coconut curry, and one of the soups (maybe the bun bo hue). Yum to all of it!Great service too! Love the friendly staff here and their willingness to explain or make suggestions.

Excellent service.. very quick too! Food was good, lot of variations to try if you are open to it of course. Especially liked the lemongrass pork. They don't have a dessert menu but get bakery items from their sister bakery next door - wish they actually had desserts! I really like the Vietnamese hats on the wall near the entrance.

Vegan dishes are served here and they have Wi-Fi. Chef here is the same from Savory Vietnam and she's doing the damn thing. Focus here is more on smaller menu and everything tasted amazing. Food is more pricy than typical Vietnamese restaurants. Service was mediocre.

Wow-thanks fellow Yelpers for finding this new gem!Such amazing flavors, great service, and a pretty restaurant. The spring rolls are an absolute MUST ORDER! Two per order and OMG fresh! The beef dishes we tried (TS1 and TS6) were both very strong flavors and served with rice. They had a good amount of pepper and the ingredients were top notch. This is among the best Vietnamese we've ever had. Enjoy!

As someone that loves Asian Food, and deprived of good Asian Food in Denver: I can confidentely share that this restaurant is now my go to place to get my vietnamese food cravings satiated. I can not express in words how much I love their lotus root salad and their curry. If I could, I would get it on a daily basis. For my partner, he loves their clay pot dishes such as the pork in shrimp pastes that he chose to come to this restaurant for his birthday dinner. Their drinks are refreshing and love the atmosphere. recommend and worth every penny

Passing through Denver and decided to stop by at this Vietnamese eatery for a late lunch.Love the paintings on the wall, and it's such a bright and pleasant dining environment. The food is very on point. It's very satisfying. I appreciate the presentation of the dishes. They put some thoughts into it. However, I always feel that Vietnamese cuisine is a little bit too sweet for me. The neighborhood is a little bit questionable, just a little bit.I also like they explain on the wall how to pronounce the name of the restaurant and what it means, or I wouldn't imagine it saying it as "young-ya",not in million years! I would definitely like to try other dishes next time I am in town.

I'm bringing in food for my son and me while he is in the hospital, and this restaurant is one of the closest on my "must try" list in Denver, so this week I decided to order takeout. I didn't order much, just the spring rolls and the Bo Luc Lac. The flavors and sauces of everything were so delicious! The beef was grilled and had the most beautiful glaze sauce, served with rice and a super lush salad. There were several pieces that were too fatty to chew, but the rest was so good he ate it all in one meal!I am saving (according to me) the best for last. The Cha Gio with pork were to die for. I wanted them with shrimp too, but kept it simple for our first meal. The egg rolls came with a whole large to-go container FILLED with fresh and pickled vegetables and herbs. Even using it for every roll, there was plenty to put in a salad the next day. The interior is busy, but warm. In the restaurant, the fixings for dishes come out on tiered servers. One item I cannot order while we are only doing takeout is the do-it-yourself spring rolls. The menu is extensive, and while we have to eat at as many of the places on the list as possible, I see Dân Dã as a once-a-week meal.
