Went in on a Sunday & most tables were full. Several in the kitchen & one waiter handled it quickly! Wanted to try multiple dishes so I over-ordered...Oh, well - Photo Op!I like my steak extra well but this was past that. Very chewy & tough. Likely significantly overcooked. Overall: Chicken, Rice, Pita & Humus were excellent.

If you are looking for a fresh feast and not fancy this is the place! Authentic, delicious Mediterranean food that is reasonably priced. I had the lentil soup, a Greek salad and baklava. The dishes were all delicious and the staff was fast and courteous. Definitely recommend checking this place out! My son had a gyro and said it was the best he has ever eaten. Highly recommend checking this restaurant out if you want fresh, healthy food!

Consistently delicious all these years. The Syrian cuisine is hands down the best in all of the Denver metro. The baba ghanoush is smoky and fresh always. The best baba I've had anywhere. The nutty hummus is outstanding. Lamb kabobs with rice and hummus and pita was spectacular and wonderfully spiced. The entrees are a perfect blend of spice and flavor, each dish having multiple flavors that work well together. Got some lentil soup, another appetizer Baba ghanoush and baklava to-go. Quick service. Friendly staff. Quaint decor. Plenty of seating. You cannot beat this local business. Visit and eat and have things catered. You'll be glad you did.

I've been back to this restaurant over the summer of 2023, where I ordered new dishes from their menu. I ordered the quail, whitefish, okra stew (with ground lamb), shawarma (chicken, beef, & lamb), and grape leaves (lamb & vegetarian). All these times, I got pita bread, garlic dip, hummus, rice, and the house salad. The food is delicious. It comes in huge portions, and it costs less than $20. You are seated very quickly, and the food comes fast. The place is like a small diner with a lot of Syrian decor. This is a great place for a high quality lunch.

Look, the DG is really good compared to the numerous other Middle Eastern restaurants in Denver. And they've told me they haven't changed their recipes in many years. . .That said, while I love their homemade pita and hummus, and their falafel is still the very best in all of Denver, their baba ganoush is different than it used to be, as in a "where's your old baba ganoush" kind of way.My wonderful MIL and I decided to make a bet a few weeks ago. The bet was about where the best baba ganoush in the Denver area was. I knew I would win that bet because the DG used to have the best baba ganoush in the state, let alone in the Denver metro area. Hands down. No question.Unfortunately, I don't think so anymore.The baba ganoush that I thought would knock her 94 year old proverbial socks off, was indeed very good, and clearly specially homemade . . . but not what it used to be.First, it contained coarse chopped up walnuts; a thing that previously wasn't the case. Second, it did not have that rich, deep, smoky flavor nor the olive oil and tahini overtones which in the "new" (?) version were a bit too subdued.Ya know I appreciate that I'm picking at nits here 'cause the baba ganoush they served was actually very good.
