We were sat quickly by the hostess Erica! She was super sweet and even thanked us for stopping by to dine with them today!We were sat at a half booth close to the bar Fernando was my server, he was very helpful and friendly.Let's start with what we had.. 1. Fried green tomatoes! It was a hit! It had a thick slice of bacon on it which was *chefs kiss*2. Fish with mash potatoes and mac and cheese.. the presentation was beautiful and the food was good as well!3. Sweet tea braised short rib.. oooo this was rich in flavor and literally if it had a bone it would fall off of it 4. The drinks were good as well and would definitely come back to sit at the bar and brink!And it was also my bfs birthday! They got him a card and a mini pecan pie cake.Overall I give this place 10 out of 10 can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

Let me preface by saying that I have been to the Yardbird inside the Venetian Las Vegas many times and that's what I'm used to, so that's why the 4-4.5 Carrington stars instead of 5.There were 4 of us and we all wanted the fried chicken. So we opted to share and ordered two fried chicken dishes w/mash potatoes & salad and added additional sides . We had fried okra, mac & cheese, greens, and the amazing corn bread. The fried okra was the side dish star, it was ridiculously good.We opted to share the Banana Pudding, it was worth every nite. Even the mock tails were yummy.The ambiance was casual to dressy, but a Dallas vibe. The decor is also very nice, not Vegas but nice.

Had a great meal at Yardbird on a weeknight. The restaurant was quite busy even on a weeknight so a reservation is recommended. The staff seated us quickly on the second floor which we preferred since it was a little quieter than the bustling main floor.They have an extensive drink menu with cocktails and wine options. We tried all the Classic cocktails: the Southern Revival was definitely the best one.For apps, we got a Texas Twinkie and cornbread. The Twinkie was excellent; the glazed syrup over the bacon wrapped jalapeno was awesome. Note it only has one pepper in one portion, so consider ordering multiples for large parties.For main dishes, the chicken & waffles stood out the most. The side watermelon was definitely unexpected but it brought a surprisingly refreshing taste. The fried chicken was excellent, you won't be disappointed.Overall a lovely experience, def a recommended spot!

Yardbird is a place that you have to visit once a quarter because the amount of food you receive in one setting fills you up and keeps you full until your next time.I had the pleasure of visiting them not too long ago for my birthday and as usual they did not disappoint! I'm not sure if I had ever tried their biscuits, but this time around I received one with my meal and it was one of the best biscuits I've ever had! It was so good that I ordered another one!The biscuits were so soft, moist, and melted right in your mouth! 10 out of 10 just for the biscuits!!!!Their chicken and greens are consistently exceptional; their succulence ensures I have no reason to explore alternative options.I must say that this establishment is such a beautiful place and every time my husband and I have gone we've only been sat on one specific side. Hopefully on our next visit we will try to sit in a new place and try a new dish, just maybe. It's so hard when you get nestled in a specific area and enjoy the delectable food choice you always get.Overall Yardbird is a great place to get nicely made southern cuisine, with great flavor, a fresh taste, and a luxury atmosphere all in one.

Was in town for a conference and went here for dinner. Super cute spot, we got seated immediately and server was on it, however, the food took quite awhile which was odd as they weren't busy. I tried the steak which was huge for an 8oz filet and opted for the Mac and cheese side. Honestly the Mac was the highlight!! The table also tried the cornbread and biscuits appetizer which were favorites as well. While food took awhile, it was yummy and the server provided complimentary dessert which was thoughtful. Would come back!

Whoohoo go get you some juicy fried chicken!! Wow. Delicious! Service great and food even better! Fried okra, Brussels sprouts, fried green tomato and deviled egg apps all fantastic. Nice little date night in the heart of downtown dallas. Just park in the garage and get your ticket validated. The valet line was long.

Got the Chicken & Waffles, Grilled Blackened Salmon Filet and Deviled Eggs. You can't go wrong with the chicken and waffles, it's SO good! It comes with honey hot sauce, chilled spiced watermelon, Vermont sharp cheddar cheese waffle, and bourbon maple syrup. The waffles are so fluffy and the chicken is fried to perfection. Didn't think I'd like the watermelon paired with it, but it definitely complimented the meal. I love salmon, but wasn't the biggest fan of the salmon dish I ordered. It lacked flavor in my opinion and I've had much better. The deviled eggs make for the perfect appetizer! I don't care for deviled eggs much, but definitely enjoyed these.Overall, it's an awesome place with excellent customer service. Weekends tend to get pretty busy, so definitely a good idea to make reservations ahead of time.

My sister and I stopped in for lunch on a Monday and were seated as soon as we got there. The host, Elizabeth was very sweet and accommodating with us having a toddler and a baby. The restaurant is huge!! We were seated in a room area near the kitchen, which is reservable as well for events, parties, etc. the ambience of the restaurant was really cute and had a fresh feel to it with all of the plants /designs along the walls. Our server Christian started us off with an espresso martini, which was a bit on the strong side. A nice way to start the day and brunch. Haha For the appetizer we order deviled eggs and the tortilla soup. The tortilla soup was so flavorful and also had a slight spice to it. Absolutely loved it!! I'm not much of an egg person but my sister thought the eggs were okay and wished the filling would've been creamier. For the price, probably not worth it in my opinion. For entrees we ordered tenders and wings off of the lunch menu. We subbed the fries for Mac & cheese. The Mac was so cheesy and creamy!! I loved the noodles/pasta they used. I will be back for the Lobster Mac & Cheese next time. They weren't kidding when they say everything is bigger in Texas... the size of those wings were ginormous!!! lol Overall, the experience we had was great!! I will be checking out the Chicago location once I'm back.

This restaurant was all over tik tok so naturallyIt was a must go to in Dallas! the vibe was very country modern, super cute! The food was delicious! Definitely recommend the artichoke dip as an appetizer and don't fret to ask for bartender to surprise you with a cocktail because my surprise was amazing! We ordered the mandatory fried chicken with macaroni and cheese and beef! Overall delicious food and fast service definitely recommend!

Texas Twinkie which is a stuffed and wrapped jalapeno was absolutely amazing! Fried chicken and waffles were fantastic! Beyond the best fried chicken I've eaten in my life. Excellent service by our waitress Kathy T. Atmosphere was really cool. Upscale home cooked food. 10/5 stars.
