"Angry Dog has been a family go-to for several years. As Upstate NY Natives, this might be the only place within two thousand miles to find Chicken Spiedies- and that was the draw. To be honest though? Everything on the menu keeps us coming back. We love the wings, the burgers, and of course, the hotdogs. This is one of the best burgers in the area, and they have the awards to prove it! Wash it down with a spicy Bloody Mary or a local beer, and Angry Dog is sure to please. It's bar food- this ain't no fancy joint, but every single bite is delicious!Parking in the area can be a bit tricky; your options are a paid lot, a parking garage, or metered street parking. Just be prepared to pay! Don't forget to make a trip to the Angry Dog bathrooms. That's worth a visit in itself. Be wary of big sporting events and local games when timing your visit. We've never had an issue sitting right down, but I'd imagine it's packed during peak hours and big games. The staff is nice enough and service is about what you'd expect. Seems relatively accessible, thought sometimes tables are pushed a little close together - just in case mobility is a consideration."

"I took my husband here for a special occasion during our vacation with our daughter. He wanted some place a little bit upscale, but sticking with the southern bbq theme which dominated our vacation. The ambiance is upscale rustic with dim lighting without being considered romantic. It was definitely a cool feel. Our server was very nice and attentive answering our questions and even playing with our toddler. Kids were definitely welcome here even though it clearly wasn't their marketed crowd. We sat at a booth and ordered a few drinks and appetizer to start. We got the fried green tomatoes. They were absolutely delicious! The breading was crispy and the bacon jam enhanced the salty/savory flavor profile. We were incredibly surprised by how good they were. For my entree, I got the baby back ribs. They were fall off the bone with smokey, savory flavors. It was very good. It was very good and came with sides of cornbread and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was standard good, but the cornbread was delicious. The perfect pairing of sweet and savory while being moist. It was very good! Plus, you got all that food for around $23. I was left feeling very full. During our dinner, I had to use the bathroom and everything was clean and well maintained. You know if the bathrooms are clean, they must care about cleanliness. We were very happy with our time here and I recommend if you are in the area."

"I was here for Grand Opening almost 5 years, and knew back then that Standard Service had all the potential to become a destination dining experience.The outdoor receation features, and the firepit seating, and outdoor stage with a large screen for media display such as pro sports sets Standard Service apart from most other facilities. Whether you need to relax, or want to play with your kids on the pickle ball courts, the expansive outdoor area has a place for you & your crew. Indoor main dining area has comfortable seating in a variety of styles. Reservations are strongly suggested for big groups which Standard Service can handle. The sportsbar, I was hoping it would expand in size, but I'm not owner. Still, it is a nice bar, and seats fill-up quickly. There are 2 other locations, 1 in downtown Dallas, TX and then northwest of DFW Airport in the toney Trophy Club area. The staff is warm & welcoming, Jessica was very kind & helpful as our Octogenarian guest was here for their first time.The menu has leaned back to casual dishes, more like refined bar food, with some healthier salads.Online, I had spotted Beef Stroganoff, so that was my target dish I wanted to try. Wow, this was a generous serving that 2 persons could split. Very beefy, with only a few large slices of mushroom, and white onion slices softened to an easy bite.Noodles cooked properly, with a nice sauce that was flavorful, yet mellow. I might have licked the bowl, in my younger years.The sweet potato fries, skinny like shoestrings, were very good, but lost their warmth in 2 minutes. Do the NFL 2 minute drill, no timeouts, chug these down.The Chicken Fajitas (2) were large and tasty.The 3-piece fried cod plate was also some good eating.Happy bellies, but we skipped the pickle ball game, too full. If I had brought a different crew, probably a beer outside in the adirondack chairs, then light the firepit after sunset.One of a kind dining & relaxing spot, with plenty of outdoor space!"

"HG Sply is in a nice location on the banks of the Clear Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth, just off the Chisholm Trail Parkway. They have an interesting menu with minimally processed, responsibly sourced food. Burgers, tacos, chicken sandwiches, bowls and heartier dishes with meat, fish and sides. They have a nice cocktail menu, too, that changes seasonally. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxed, and you can park for free next to the restaurant in the garage."

"Great variety with many dishes I've not seen elsewhere. India Palace has a very upscale vibe and a weekend lunch buffet that includes cook to order stations (check for hours). There were so many delicious items, I was only able to eat a little of each! The Chicken Tikka Masala is as good as I've had anywhere, and the Chili Chicken was a combination of sweet, spicy and savory that will have you wanting more! I also tried some Chicken Biryani, Beef Madras, Goat & Broccoli Curry, Vegetable Samosa, Mixed Vegetables and Saag.The cook to order station featured Masala Dosa with Cutney and Panipuri with spicy green chili and/or sweet tamarind sauce. Both are something to be experienced. Dosa is a thin, savory crepe made from fermented rice. Panipuri is a light, fried hollow sphere that's filled with potato and chickpea and then to a spicy or sweet sauce. They are eaten in one bite and are a pop of flavor that is unlike anything else I've tried.India Palace also offers a full lunch and dinner menu and a full bar. It offers something for every palate, and is clear why they've received multiple accolades from numerous area publications. If you like Indian food, this is the number one place to try!"

"Decent neighborhood tex-mex restaurant! We ordered chicken fajitas and the healthy plate. The chicken was perfectly cooked to be tender and juicy and had good flavor. The portions were perfect and the service was great and prompt despite coming here an hour before closing. Their salsas are tasty and they give you separate salsas per person which I liked. They also have chunk green salsa as well if you ask! We also ordered small guacamole which was sub par and they can work on the presentation. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here but it's a solid choice for your local tex Mex dining."

"Bookshop of my dreams. The Wild Detectives is a bookshop, bar, and cafe in the Bishop Arts District!We were strolling along and wanted to find a spot to grab a drink and enjoy the weather so we asked around and one local recommended this spot! We headed straight towards the bar since we knew we wanted a drink- my friend got the aperol spritz while I got the matcha pisco sour. We lucked out and came during happy hour on a weekday which is from 3-6pm and includes cool specials like $3 off cocktails, $2 off wine & tap beer & $1 off food items. If you buy a book during this time, they also have a happy book hour where you get a drink on the house if you buy a book... now that's my kinda happy hour!Since I already bought a book at a different store, I opted out of the book hour but still took advantage of the happy hour. The area itself is super cute with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. We ended up enjoying our drinks inside in the little nook area. We saw a lot of people catching up or working from here, which seemed like an ideal place to do both. My Matcha pisco sour was really good and actually a bit strong, in the best way. Definitely a different kind of midday pickmeup. It didn't taste much like matcha but definitely a pisco sour. After enjoying our drinks and reading from our books we brought long for the adventure, we took a look around the store. The book collection is curated since the space is small. Overall, such a cute lil bookstore/cafe/wine concept within this little unsuspecting house a little outside the main part of the Bishop Arts District."

"I have wanted to try Nori out for so long, I've waited thinking it would be too busy but on a Monday night, I walked right in. They have plenty of seats, all bar style. I got a seat right in front of the sushi chef (of which they have 2 at all times it seems). I ordered the Hungry set, which was a great deal. They prepare the hand rolls for you as you finish so everything is very fresh, and the nori, which they're known for, is extra crisp and fresh. The sushi chef, Lim, helped explain every order to me as it came out. It was also happy hour with $3 sushi which was also delicious, but the standout star were the hand rolls. My favorite was definitely the soft shell crab, give it a try!"

"Bad food, bad service, high prices, poor quality food .. We got the brisket tacos ($16), cajun shrimp + avocado($20), and the parmesan truffle fries. The brisket was super dry and the taco itself was even more dry. It came with a side of corn that was made from frozen corn and was tasteless, too. The cajun shrimp + avocado dish barely had any avocado in it and it also came on a bed of tasteless frozen corn. The parmesan fries were the best thing we ordered but they came out room temperature. Our server didn't come to our table until 15+ minutes after we were seated. Another server was busy chit chatting with his friends and kept his table waiting for long periods at a time because he was distracted. The ambience was pretty nice but all the other downsides are definitely going to keep us from coming back here unless there is a family gathering or birthday we are invited to. Pro's : Has a good amount of parking, easy to find, good location if you live in Coppell."

I would say the food pricing is on the higher side ($20-30 per entree), but the serving sizes were large, so I wasn't too upset. I tried the brisket tacos and I unfortunately thought the meat was pretty dry. It was okay with the avocado and salsa, but the sides of beans and rice were also pretty lackluster. Definitely wouldn't come back for a meal.Here's what I did like though: the service was incredibly attentive and friendly, plus we constantly had a basket of chips at the table. That's honestly what kept this review from dropping to 2 stars. Their complimentary salsas were solid and the queso was actually incredibly delicious. The drinks here are boozy and they claim to be the inventors of the frozen marg. I did try the Frozen Strawberry Mango and it was sweet, but strong aka dangerous. Overall, I would recommend coming here with a group during happy hour and enjoying the nachos to share."

We ordered the Cowboy Cobb Salad, Tostada Chips & Queso, Firebird, Hand-punched Fries, and a Chocolate Milkshake. Everything was pretty good! I especially liked how generous the Cowboy Cobb was -- it was my entire entree, but I had to share with it my husband because of how much food there was. My husband enjoyed the chicken sandwich very much -- it was pretty spicy; and a mess to eat. Queso was actually a bit too salty, so we couldn't eat too much of it, but the milkshake really balanced it out. It was really hot when we came, so we couldn't sit outside, but there were tables and high-tops inside to choose from. The decorations and theme were super fun -- it was loud and casual. Service was the weak point of this experience. It was self-seating, so it kinda felt like we were initially ignored or forgotten by the staff, even after smiling, making eye contact, and waving at someone. It looked like there were a lot of waitstaff, but only one gentleman (Tramaine) was running around and helping the tables. He took our order and checked up on us periodically, so he was actually great; but I'm not even sure if we were technically in his section because it felt like he was running around the entire restaurant and I remember thinking that the others should be helping more. As a result, service was a bit slow; but I can't fault Tramaine for that as it was a pretty busy evening. Overall, it was a good experience! We really enjoyed the food and thought the theming was nice. The restaurant is also located in a nice plaza where you can walk around afterwards to get some fresh air and digest. LOL."

"Well, I have now been to a Chili Parlor! Didn't really know what one was, but now I am in on the secret!Pretty much this place is much more than just Chili, but Chili is definitely the theme here. The walls are adorned with pictures of the founder Frank, his Chili competitions, a couple "specials" boards, and a few neons. Combining those things with the antique interior brick walls and it is a neat ambiance. Today I tried the Chili Enchiladas. They were really good, but honestly they were a bit overkill and I probably wouldn't get them again. The ambience is like entering a popular place in Venice or Naples, with intimate lighting, cozy furnishings and art, and a gentleman crooner performing in the corner. And yes, he was good!The food is traditional Italian fare, and excellent quality. The bread they make is warm and delicious, and its crumbs are used for the fried mozzarella. I had the seafood linguine, and it came with ample bites of large shrimp, scallops, and mussels. This would be a perfect date night, but also very accommodating for larger groups out for the evening and looking for wine and dining. This is definitely not a place you are likely to forget anytime soon. Ciao!"

"The jury is still out on this one. I want to love this place, but our first visit here was a mix. Most of what we had was very good, but major pitfalls in the service and some inconsistencies in the caliber of food leave me wondering...I've driven by this place about 100 times and finally decided to give it a while. From the outside the facade is pretty generic. Inside however, it's a small space but still packs a big punch with creating a nice atmosphere. There is a nice green wall with a slick neon sign right past the smallest vestibule I think I've ever seen. The bar is painted a sophisticated dark blue and there are chic gold table lamps on the table tops that add to the ambiance. Our server seemed scatterbrained and not focused. There were times we were questioning whether our food was even coming out. He forgot our drinks- 2 Cokes, and had to be asked if they were coming out. We ordered bruschetta as an appetizer. We had specifically ordered it without onions, but when it came out- it had onions, so that was an even longer wait than anticipated.I was saving room for dessert, so I went with Lobster Bisque, and my husband had the Pasta Di Mare. The Lobster Bisque was fine, but I've had better. The Pasta Fettuccine di Mare was absolutely amazing! If this place is capable of delivering such a stellar dish, I feel compelled to give them another try for other things. I had the key lime pie for dessert. It was pretty overpriced for what I got, and felt that the taste just didn't wow me in any way. I didn't like the texture of the pie itself (I detected coconut perhaps) and I really just wanted a velvety smooth Key Lime Pie. Overall, dining here had more ups than downs, but the consistency varied from dish to dish. Also the service being pretty spotty- I would hope the next visit, we get someone with their head a bit more focused on providing a more attentive posture."
