We had the most amazing experience yesterdayThis restaurant was on my to do listThis establishment is undergoing a renovation due to a fire. When we walked in we were told take out onlyThere was a small counter and since we were not close to home, we decided to eat that way. The staff (all family) were just so friendly we thought we were in a home kitchen. Food arrived and we were offered a seat in the (not yet )staffed dining room. They came to check, offered background music. They even asked what genre. O k we are feeling really chill, the food is amazing, it's hot outside and we are having an alfresco air conditioned experience, listening to jazz, loving the food and chatting with one of family members Pad Thai and summer rolls, it doesn't get any better. We can't wait to go back

Daleng is a truly excellent local spot. The owners are very kind and we love to support a family owned business! Try the summer rolls and Tang Tang chicken wings. Pad Thai is also excellent here. They do not play around with spice which I also appreciate! Anything above a level 4 is very spicy so proceed with caution :)

They are back open and a renovated dining room will be open soon after years of take out only. My favorite pad thai in the area, and the people working here are always very nice to me. Happy they were able to reopen after being closed for so long.

My go-to for Asian takeout in West Philly! I order pickup in advance and the only time it wasn't ready on arrival was when they first open at 4pm. My greatest hits:1. Chow Fun in gravy with Chinese kale and tofu 2. Tang Tang wings, no rice and extra spice (mop up the sauce with broccoli)3. Kroeng stir fry with anything 4. Singapore Mei Fun with shrimpI don't really drink but there's a ton of beers in the case behind the counter including Evil Genius.

My family got a to go order from here while in the area from out of town. Some of our family are vegan so this was a great spot for a convenient delicious meal. I just want to let you know we ordered 7 things off of the menu I tasted some of everything and I thought everything was good.We ordered veggie spring rolls and the shrimp summer rolls. Both of these came with sauces I only tried the peanut sauce with the summer rolls. The sauce was a little runny but good flavor. Both appetizers were tasty. I got a Char Sui Banh Mi. Because we are in Philly I was expecting a sandwich that was packed full. It wasn't but it had great flavor which made me happy I would order it again. For the meals we got Tang Tang chicken with tofu fried rice, 2 pad Thai's one spicy with shrimp one mild with tofu, and a shrimp lo mien. The standouts were the tofu fried rice and tofu pad Thai. I thought both were extremely good. The only thing I would not order again is the lo mein it was not bad everything else was just so much better. The Tang Tang chicken had great flavor and was still good after the 15min in the car. My only complaint is the amount of shrimp in the dishes and the meat in the sandwich. Really delicious meal, but be careful about the spice level you ask for. I usually have a high spice tolerance, and I have never found anything "too spicy", so coming here, when they asked for the spice level that I wanted, I was too cocky. They gave me the options from 1-10, or an 11 if I really wanted it spicy. I chose to get an 11 for my crispy Fried chicken wings, and it was way way too spicy.The chicken was covered in chili seeds. It was delicious, but after two wings, it was a very painful kind of delicious.

I've ordered and picked up food from Daleng countless times before and it's always been amazing! However tonight I ordered from them and got steamed broccoli as a side with my meal. I ate a few bites and then discovered maggots! HOW do you miss that? Do they not wash their vegetables? Do they not pay attention when preparing the food? I work at a restaurant and I understand that food service is not always perfect. But this is just so gross. I received a refund for the broccoli which is nice but I definitely I won't be ordering from here again.

Best tofu bahn mi I've had since moving back to west Philly! Nice little spot, not putting on airs.
