Unique Italian restaurant. My friends and I originally came here for restaurant week and had an incredible time. The service was great and the food was incredible. We came back twice since then and will definitely keep coming! Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique and special Italian restaurant.

Daisies is a prime example of 'farm to table.' All the food items are of local produce and are some of the freshest ingredients I've had. My fiance and I were here for happy hour at the bar and also dined in for dinner. The happy hour menu is limited and the prices are not much of a difference compared to their dinner menu. Ex: onion dip during happy hour is $8 vs dinner menu is $9. Neither of us loved the drinks offered for happy hour, a bit too earthy and limited for our liking but that's not to say others won't enjoy it. The dinner menu for drinks and food was where it was at for us! For drinks we started with the sour in green and mushroom margarita 2.0. I really enjoyed the sour in green - it was refreshing, strong and delightful. The mushroom margarita was definitely mushroom heavy and unique. We both thought it was an interesting cocktail and appreciated it. Would we order it again? I'm not sure but we are glad we tried it. For food we started with the onion dip and overpriced tomato. The overpriced tomato was wildly delicious. Although the base is literally a tomato, it is elevated with fresh sourdough bread and bone marrow. I had no idea that this simple dish could turn out so divine and elegant. We also tried 2 different pastas which we both enjoyed. The pasta is fresh and high in quality. Same with the other ingredients as well. The vibes here are somewhat casual and somewhat fancy. Dress down or dress up and you'll be just fine! Service throughout was great - the staff is the perfect amount of attentive. They check in every so often and don't hover or try to get you to order more than you're willing to. Note: Dinner service has a 25% service/gratuity fee which cannot be altered. You may add more if you choose, however, you are not able to provide less than the 25%.

Celebrated my husbands birthday at Daisies and we are so happy we did! Made reservations in advanced to get seated for dinner in the back room. Honestly everything we ate came out differently than we expected and it was all spectacular. Every dish was a true creation of elegant taste and flavor. The cocktails were strong and some of the best cocktails we've ever had. Loved the ambiance of the place and our server was super charismatic, very patient, and gave great recommendations. The dishes that were the stars of the show were the chicken fried quail, ravioli, and potted carrots. Holy hell I crave both of them still. And at the end we were so stuffed we didn't want dessert but they gave us a teeny tiny little cake slice for my husbands birthday. Such great hospitality thank you for making his day extra special!

Love their pastries from the weekend cafe hours. Just tried it for happy hour and loved the apps! Service is always great and it's nice clean: hotel esque vibe inside. The only thing we haven't done is dinner but we will absolutely be back to try it out!

Such an adorable spot for coffee and a light lunch. Although I didn't try any of the pastries, they all looked simply delicious. There was a good variety of Plain, Chocolate, and Hot Dog Style(?!) croissants, as well as Gluten-free Loafs, regular Muffins, and even Vegan Oatmeal Crème Pie. I went for my classic Matcha Latte with oat milk and sugar free vanilla and it was so creamy and good. I'm a picky matcha drinker by this one definitely ranks as one of my current favorites in the city. It had that classic coffee shop feel, there was one person to order with at the coffee bar, and I patiently waited only about 4 minutes while he finished up some drinks and started on mine. I could see myself coming back here with a friend for a post-workout meal and getting some work done!

My first encounter with Daisies was via the Logan Square Farmer's Market, where I picked up some fresh pasta and sauces from their stand. It was really good, both the pasta and the sauce; they make a brown butter sauce which is the best. The dude at the stand was super friendly and that combined with the quality of the pasta made me a fan. They did a pickup here in Andersonville and that made picking up their goodies even more convenient. My first visit to the restaurant was a couple months ago when they had a collaboration with one of the hot dog places in town (I think it was the Weiner's Circle). They made an elevated Chicago hot dog and I had to try it! It was delicious. It was a croissant-stuffed dog with all the Chicago-style fixings, including a little sport pepper on top as a garnish. I happened to come right when they were bringing an entire pan of fresh-from-the-oven ones to the display and I was next in line. Talk about luck! Their other pastries looked delicious as well, but this is what I came for and for once, it was all I left with.Parking is a disaster on Milwaukee here; I'm not sure if it's ever good. But there's a bus down the street, I believe. The interior of the restaurant looked really nice so I'm sure it would be a lovely place for a nice meal if you dine in.

Review of lunch menu & service:I got a Cubano - roasted pork, ham, house pickles, swiss, ciabattaAnd Rhubarb bostock & hazelnut babka from the cafe.Starting with the pastries - very good. Bostock was proper - crunchy exterior, soft interior.Pastry and rhubarb jam were yummy. Hazelnut babka was textbook and an absolute treat. Sandwiches not so great. Bread was also very good but could be toasted more. Overall, sandwich was bland with respect to the meats. I could only taste the pickles and mustard. Same issue with my friend's whitefish sandwich. Sandwich was very greasy to hold which I don't necessarily mind IF the meat was flavorful.Service was subpar. Although the employees were nice, I don't like the format of getting your own glasses, water pitcher, and plates. And our table was never checked on.

When we arrived, the host stand offered to hold our luggage since we just got into town. Fabricio was lovely at the bar. He had great knowledge of the menu and suggestions. The dishes felt like elevated classics. As a vegetarian, I felt like my mushroom papardelle was a featured dish, and not just a "checked box" for vegetarians. My partner loved the perogi. We also got the leeks and they were awesome. The mushroom sour drink was...weird lol but not because of Fabricio lol. We're from the service industry and he told us exactly what it was. It was savory so we knew what we were getting into and wanted to try something different. The affogato was fire. The whiskey drink was also fun. We went on a Tuesday right when they opened. We were just walking, saw a restaurant, and went in. We didn't know much about the place. But within a few minutes the place was getting filled up. Very trendy! They auto charge all checks 25% grat to pay their staff which I think is totally awesome honestly. Prices of the food is fair, everyone of the staff works together and are all nice and offer customer service from the top (so, customers who read this, you better be nice too!) Fabricio was so great that we ended up leaving extra grat on top. What can I say, Service people love service people.

Best farmer market raviolis ever! But we miss the corn stuffed ravioli, and the sun gold sauce. Please bring it back!
