So you felt scared for your life when you came here.Did you Daido?Absolutely amazing stuff here at this little Asian supermarket that a lot of people don't even know about. They have some wonderful pastries and baked items and it's actually one of my favorite little secret hidden gems around here.

This is an authentic Japanese market. Everything comes imported from Japan! Most of the workers also speak Japanese, so if you want to practice speaking then this is a great store to shop at! I love coming in to grab iced coffees, sweet snacks and freshly made onigiri! The customer service is also great! Very nice and helpful.

I never thought I would be reviewing a grocery store but here I am. Their black sesame soft serve was delicious and flavorful. I unfortunately didn't grab anything else as I came in near closing, but I can attest to their service quality and will be coming back in the future!

A legit Japanese market. Like a for real one. It's so awesome! Have had a Japan fascination ever since I was a kid. If you read my reviews, yes you know this. Wifey found it and of course I want to go to it. It's so clean, neat, and well organized inside. They have so many fresh, delicious, and amazing looking things imported from Japan. I like this little place so much. I don't speak or read Japanese. But I almost literally ached at the longing to be able to read and understand everything in this place. They even have Zojirushi rice cookers. Yes lots of stores sell those rice cookers.......:but this place sells the made in Japan models. I shall step foot in here again some day most likely.

Awesome spot to shop for Japanese items. I usually go to Seiwa but they didn't have uni at the time. Daido saved my cravings. They also actually answer the phone to inform you if certain items you question is in stock. Thankfully I had a heads up before making the drive. Thank you! Near the end of the day there were some discounted onigri and some baked potatoes. I was super happy to add to my dinner. Lots of deals here.

Daido is my current go-to when I want to grab some fresh sashimi. They have an amazing variety of choices there. Last time I was in the area, I picked up Scottish salmon, yellowtail, and amberjack. The salmon was so buttery and delicious. The yellowtail had just the right amount of fat and practically dissolved in my mouth. They also carry tons of snacks and other Japanese goods. Stop by- you won't be disappointed!Ask the cashier for a reward stamp card so you can accumulate credit toward a discount!

It's important to update that this place don't have the pastries on photos anymore. We asked, and they told us they have not made them ever since COVID started. They don't have any of their fresh pastries at all. The rices balls I got to not taste good and the little meat inside is hard and dry like it's old. Don't understand why this place has good reviews.

I had frequented Daido very often during my college years about a decade ago, but had not made it down here as often after moving further out. Today I decided to stop by on a whim while waiting for a pickup order nearby to be ready for me, and ended up leaving with a total of $70ish in a combination of ingredients, instant Tteok-bokki, snacks, onigiri, and sushi. They discount their premade foods like croquettes, chirashi, sushi, and onigiri near closing time making it a great place to grab a very affordable and easy dinner to take home. They also have a large selection of Japanese imported snacks, drinks, and ingredients so if you're more interested in cooking your own meals at home or restocking your pantry with snacks, this is the place to visit! Their prices are very reasonable, and needless to say, I'm glad that they've stuck around all this time. I will definitely be stopping by more often now that I've been reminded of what a hidden gem this store is!
