5 stars!! Beautiful restaurant and fabulous service. My husband and I went for our anniversary and were treated like royalty! The food was so delicious and we are already planning to return with friends. Great place!!

I absolutely adore Da Marco. We have been coming here for more than a decade and usually come at least a couple of times a year for special occasions. My husband's birthday is smack dab in the middle of white truffle season so that is a no brainer but it is also a wonderful place to come for Christmas Eve dinner. We came here for dinner recently with some friends and were delighted to learn that they now have a full bar (they used to serve only beer and wine). They have also recently done a light refresh of the interior. The space is always super cozy and never so loud that you cannot hear your dinner companions. My go to dish is the simple pasta with tomatoes and mozzarella. This dish also got a glow up recently and is now served with house-made arugula fettuccine. Da Marco also makes a sneaky delicious pizza. I say sneaky because it's not the kind of place where I would think to order a pizza, but you should because it is so yummy! The pictures I took are atrocious because of the dim cozy lighting but I am going to post them anyways...

Another spectacular experience at what is becoming my favorite restaurant in town.Here's the deal: my foodie friend and I had a reservation at a different restaurant and started the evening there. We had been looking forward to Uni (sea urchin) pasta, which is normally on their menu, but that night they were not making it. So, while we were eating our dinner, we knew we HAD to have sea urchin pasta, and I called Da Marco right then and there from the other restaurant.After confirming they were serving it, I made a reservation and, when we finished our meal at the other restaurant, we headed 10 mins down the road, straight to Da Marco for our "third course." We're so glad we did!Service, again, was so gracious from arrival to departure, and we were lucky to have Eric as our server again. The sea urchin pasta really hit the spot! It was every bit as wonderfully delicious as we'd hoped. We had drinks and dessert, and I decided I had to return soon with my mom and sister... so I'll be coming back. Again and again :)

This resaurant was amazing find for Italian food in Houston. White jacket servers. Pasta was truly authentic. I went with spaghetti special, with light red sauce. Something I never order (normally too blah) but I am so happy I ordered it. Perfect dish!Next time I am choosing a freshly caught fish from their iced selection.

Coming from a friend who has been to Italy multiple times and loves the food in Italy, this place is highly recommended!! It's as if you're in Italy! The ambiance is great' it's intimate and feels like you're being catered to. The food is amazing! The sample starter is even great! The ravioli with egg is just one of a kind! The prosciutto with fig sandwich start is so delicious! The artichoke is crunchy and tart. Don't forget to add an egg to the pizza! The truffle pasta is fuming with truffle! the service is great! Love everything about Da Marco! Definitely recommend for a special occasion or a special date night!

Where do I begin...DaMarco was absolutely amazing! The staff was excellent, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. I found this restaurant on google and we decided to give it a try while celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. Our needs were always anticipated before we could ask. Our drinks were perfect and the food was delicious. DaMarco exceeded our expectations and we will definitely dine there again when we are in Houston.

Truly a 5 star experience Upon arrival, our car was taken by the valet who was readily available. Our table was ready and the staff wasted no time getting cold waters for us. We were served a delicious crostini and warm bread with oil to start. They had specials but we all opted for the main menu. Everything was delicious. Some had dessert which looked and smelled amazing but their pasta serving filled me up. The restaurant is small but well organized. I never felt it was too loud and it made for a great business lunch. The staff ensured our glasses never went empty and that everyone was satisfied. I'll be back for their dinner menu!

It was good food, service was good. Portions are very very small but it's more of a fine dining setting so it's understandable. Had the Urchin pasta and it was good. Partner had the braised beef pasta special and hers was good as well.

Incredible high-end, yet neighborhood vibe here- food makes me want to cry because I don't want it to end. Service is impeccable. Seriously feels like the Godfather could walk in at any moment. Luis (both of them) are great bartenders. Love love love this place

We have enjoyed Da Marco's amazing food for more than 20 years. It has been the go-to for birthdays and special occassions as well as meeting up with friends for no reason at all. So we were in shock when we finished our last meal at Da Marco. The staff refused to honor a gift certificate we had been given as a gift from a grateful patient. We disagreed with the staff's decision and agreed to disagree. As we were paying the bill, the owner, Marco Wiles, came over to our table, screaming at us. He was screaming in English and Italian, cursing at us and was physically and verbally agressive and threatening. He ripped our gift certificate out of my wife's hand, invited me outside after threatening a physical fight. My wife asked for the off duty police officer to come in from out front and we left with Marco Wiles continuing to scream profanities across the restaurant at us. Unbeknownst to us, a major conflict between Marco Wiles and the prior manager at Da Marcos who signed our gift card exists and this appears to have been the catalyst for refusing to honor the certificate and for Marco going off on long-time, loyal customers. Needless to say we will not be going back. Our meal was superb, as always, but the unhinged, unprovoked, threatening and agressive behaviour by the owner, Marco Wiles was an episode that was simply unimaginable. Patrons be forewarned.
