D'lites Cakes Catering & More

Ok, so Ernesto saved the day!!! Our sons 21 bday is today and we wanted a fancy / fun themed cake for him to devour during the Super Bowl. We didn't want to get him just a plain sheet cake even though he wouldn't have cared. It was 7pm 1/28/18, I browsed Yelp, saw his work & messaged him with some pics of cake ideas. He messaged me back within no time, we took care of the design, cost and he even delivered it in person today. The cake looks exactly like the picture and my son is cool as a cucumber but he was like okay... lol. It's perfect. Lol..I just wanted to take a few pics before he cut into it. Well I managed to get a few pics and the cake tastes as great as I looks!! He is such a nice guy and my husband and I will be telling everyone to use their services.

Ernesto was really friendly, helpful, and quick responder to all my questions and needs. Really appreciated all his help in creating a beautiful and tasty cake for my daughters 2nd birthday party. He even added such cute details to the cake that really made it very special. We will definitely be returning for his services for future birthday party's.

My boyfriend surprised me with this AMAZING LSU/crawfish cake. It was so elaborate and colorful! The inside was purple and yellow. It was lemon flavored. Not only was the cake beautiful, it tasted great too!! We will definitely be using y'all again in the future! Thank you!

Ordered Panda cupcakes for my little girls 7th birthday! Not only were they adorable, they were so good! Everyone enjoyed them at the party! Moist and perfect in every way ! Red velvet and buttercream :)

My ultimate "Cake Dealer" I am never disappointed when it comes to ordering from D'Lites. The cake is so amazingly beautiful that you don't want to cut it, but you'll be glad that you did cause the cake is freaking delicious, so good I didn't want to share. I won't dare go anywhere else!! Cute and classy designed cakes, exceptional customer service and the cakes melt in your mouth delicious.

Ernesto was awesome to work with as he was very quick to respond to my request on short notice. I didn't find out family could make it into town for my engagement surprise until a few days before I planned to propose. I wanted a engagement box shaped cake to celebrate the occasion and Ernesto was able to work around his busy schedule to deliver a delicious dark chocolate raspberry cake that everyone loved. I'm definitely going to D'Lites for all my dessert needs going forward for holidays and the wedding!

Sent Ernesto a picture of what I wanted and he nailed it! Everyone was raving about how good it looked and tasted. Ernesto also provided transparent communication and service. I will recommend him to everyone and will certainly come back!

I am really glad I went with D'lites Cakes. They were easy to work with, quick to respond, friendly and have reasonable prices. They were also able to make a wedding cake on a short notice which I was very thankful for! I highly recommend D'lites Cakes.

I found this company on yelp and decided to give it a shot based on all the reviews. First of all, I thought the location was in the heights and I had to pick up the cake in the medical center area. This made my pick up very inconvenient but I agreed because I thought it might be worth it. Picked up the cake and it was pretty but not 100% what I expected. Before I saw it, I was assured it looked "just like the picture" and it doesn't. So, I was a little disappointed, but I didn't complain and tried to stay positive. Finally, when we got to eat the cake I was EXTREMELY disappointed. The fondant was completely inedible. Usually, I'm not a huge fan anyway but I always try it. I got strawberry flavor. The cake was dry, dense, and flavorless.To top it off I paid $75 for the cake to feed 15-25 people. I wouldn't have minded paying that IF The cake was a least enjoyable. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Honestly, this was the biggest disappointment I ever experienced. I showed them the two tiered cake as inspo and asked for a gold "30" on top with a little sparkle.. the cake I received looked like a child made it and cut the 30 out of cardboard. Literally the worst cake ever. I had to peel the icing off and ice it myself all over again. Honestly it looks like a joke, lol.
