Good soft serve. Children love this spot. Small to-go spotonly one person working at night so it can be really slow

If you ask me where I usually buy my ice cream, i will have a lot of answers. But if you ask me which is my favorite ice cream place so far, my answer is D'emilio's.I love their soft serve ice cream, you can mix and match their sorbetto with soft ice cream or you can choose from their sundaes menu.Check their IG for store hours and speciality sundaes.

In the winter the owner and the ice cream producer does all the jobs and man's the store. This is real home made dessert and it's made with pride. I like combining the ice with custard. Sizes are huge

Amazing ice creams! They do have non-dairy and egg free options too.The regular size was actually pretty big- it's big enough for 2.Ice cream with sprinkles is ~ $7.50Love the vibe and the music. It's like a 50's ice cream parlour. Do note that there aren't seats inside.

Some of the best ice and soft serve in the entire city. Good fair price for such high quality treats. Good flavor selection. Soft serve and the sorbetto is amazingly flavorful and creamy. Staff are great too. Definitely the best spot for any ice and should stop in here.

Excuse me! How dare you be this good?! The soft serve is perfect. One of the best in the city. The shop itself is small but accommodating. The staff is beyond amazing. We only ordered two sundaes and they presented them on a tray and handed them to us. They even offered to bring them out.Even more impressive, they have been extremely vocal about covid protections of customers and staff . Something I'm really focused on is how places treat employees. I can tell this is a healthy working environment. This is what I love about Philly businesses. Go to East Passyunk and just enjoy a memory on the street in these summer nights.

tl;dr come for the premium water ice selection at this mobile ice cream cart turned brick and mortarChris D'Emilio became locally famous for operating out of a repurposed motorcycle. His "old-world" sorbetto (adapted from recipes D'Emilio's grandmother's recipes) variety includes both approachable and eclectic flavors. And with a new brick and mortar on East Passyunk, they are all readily available to Philadelphians.A royal blue awning precedes the cramped indoor space with just enough room for a single party. It's definitely worth a peek inside to sample flavors before committing. After grabbing dinner in the neighborhood, my partner and I stopped by D'Emilio's for dessert. We opted for the Love Ya to Reese's sundae and the Blueberry Guava sorbetto. Within a couple of minutes, our order was brought out on a tray. The sundae was overflowing out of the pint-sized cup, so I was on cleanup duty as we marched our way over to the picnic tables at a nearby intersection. Generously loaded with toppings throughout, my partner summarized it best as a "premium McFlurry" -- certainly enjoyable, but somewhat standard. In contrast, the sorbetto was innovative, full-bodied, and refreshing, a sure step-up from chain water ice slingers. At $18 for both items, D'Emilio's certainly falls on the pricey side. While not a dessert destination I'd recommend a trip fully out of your way, it still is a welcome addition to the East Passyunk food scene.

These folks know how to do an ice treat! I got a gelati with a beautiful, tart orange and lemon sorbetto and wow! What a delicious treat. It's like if Rita's were actually very very good. Part of going here is the fun experience of going into the shop one group at a time, and they put your ice cream on a little tray and ring a bell. Who, among us, would not love that.
