Located in Rice Village, I wanted to love this place. It does give you the feeling of being in an Italian aunt's home, but something about this place fell flat for me. I will say the service was magnificent, Isac was an amazing server. I just couldn't get into the food. Would I give this place another try, maybe. I know I have a limited food palate, so going forward, I will be more informed next visit. But you guys definitely should give this place a try!Bianca

Después de caminar un rato decidimos probar este restaurante para la comida delDomingo. El ambientes es muy familiar, no hay mucho lujo, pero una buena atención por parte del personal, que te da una sensación de familiaridad. La cesta de pan hecho en casa no me gustó, el pan es seco, duro y muy frío. La comida estaba excelente, en especial el risotto, cada bocado estaba full de sabor. Estoy segura que regresaré. Fue perfecto para un domingo familiar!

Such a cute little restaurant in the middle of rice village. Great spot for family dinner or a date night! Lots of amazing wine selections and food selection as well. The service is truly amazing. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. My partner recently had mouth surgery and can only do smooth liquids. She was able to talk to the kitchen and make him a tomato's basil Ivonne is the most amazing server here. She is fabulous and definitely a star of the restaurant!

Came here for lunch. Started with the Casares salad. It was very watery so I didn't eat it after 2 bits. The sandwich was ok but I prefer my sandwiches to have more taste to it.

Everything about it has been great for years - food, service and atmosphere. Some favorite dishes are the mushroom walnut tortellini, shrimp pesto pappardelle, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken braciolenti, antipasto pizza and house and Caesar salads that come with entrees. Our kids like the pepperoni pizza and bread. The make your own pasta, paninis and lunch specials are also really good. Everyone can always find something they like. The little authentic Italian grocery items, wine and gelato make it extra special. The food and service have been consistently wonderful for years, which is hard to find these days. Some of the staff like Isaac have been there for a long time and are always welcoming and helpful. The family who owns it has done a great job making it a reliable, family friendly, comfortable neighborhood favorite spot. I've been going there for over 20 years and can always rely on it for quick meals or special occasions with larger groups. Will continue to be a happy regular!

From start to finish , D 'Amicos Italian Market Cafe had us at Ciao.Lukash our server took care to get our drink and dinner items out quickly.I had the Taglierini homemade angel hair pasta with oven roasted Roma tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and fresh basil .It was served extra hot like I like it and had the perfect amount of spice without being over salty.The BREAD.Not sure if they make it in house but if they were closer to home I would come here every week and buy their bread. Perfectly toasted on outside and soft on inside .Heavenly!Wine:Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay. Full bodied wine with notes of Citrus, tropical fruits and hazelnuts. Creamy texture with a long mineral finish.Several servers waited on us and you can tell service was a big part of why they have been in business for over 45 years.We had dinner inside and they also offer outside seating .Return: Absolutely

Boyfriend took me here for lunch on a Saturday after I told him I was craving Italian. First green flag was that there was complementary fresh bread and dipping oil that was AMAZING, loaded with fresh herbs and garlic. We got the lentil soup which was full of flavor. Lentil soup as the soup of the day wouldn't be my first choice but I would definitely order it again from here. I ended up going with the chicken Alfredo and my boyfriend got the crawfish ravioli. The best thing is that they have lunch specials on Saturdays which is unheard of these days. The outdoor area was super cute! Our water cups were continuously topped off and our server stopped by plenty to ask if we were enjoying our meals. We will be back!

Gelato & Sorbeto portions are small for the price.I ordered a vanilla and mint chocolate chip cup.$4.50 per scoop is way too much, especially since the cup wasn't filled full. Maybe if the two scoops were in one for $5.50, I'd accept that.

Excellent Italian food and service. Homemade pasta and desserts were the best! Had the chicken Parmesan and Alfredo pasta. This place does not disappoint
