We liked! Love the fact that it's counter service. Great options for everyone - teen got a tasty cheeseburger, hubs got chicken fried steak and I had healthy grilled chicken with sides. Only downside - chicken fried batter was like catfish batter - that needs to change. Service was easy - cornbread to the table while you wait. Tons of screens if you're looking for a game. Bar was hopping on a Wednesday - live music that night. Fun spot!!

I recently visited this newish restaurant and really wanted to like the place, but the menu isn't that large (more like a casual restaurant) and the food ordered was just average at best. It's also a little confusing when you enter, since it's not that obvious, but this is a counter service restaurant and you have to look around to figure out if someone is going to seat you, or what. I visited on a weekday, and it was pretty slow, except for a group sitting in a reserved section off to the left. They do have outdoor patio seating as well.My group ordered the 1/2 lb "homemade patty" bacon cheeseburger, the patty melt, and the grilled chicken sandwich. Burger - it is NOT a homemade patty. It's a preformed oval-shaped patty that tastes like something direct from Sysco. French fries are pre-seasoned and previously frozen. I liked that it came with cheddar and red onions though. However, for around $15, it also comes with cheap iceberg lettuce. The bun is okay, but overall, this burger has a high bun to meat ratio. You don't taste the cheese much at all. Bacon is the best thing about this burger. 3/5 at bestPatty melt - same patty, average if you like patty melts 3/5Cutten chicken sandwich - bun is thick. Cheese and the sauce they put on this are the best things about the whole sandwich. 3/5Service is ok, they drop your food off and after that you don't see any employees much. The interior is warm and inviting, and clean.

Always amazing! Tried some different items tonight and loved them! The cornbread they bring out while you wait for your food is the best!! Loved the spinach artichoke dip and the coconut shrimp. This place is so clean and everything I've tried here is superb. Love it!!

After having dined here several times I must change my mind about Cutten Kitchen. My first review discussed a glowing review for my meatloaf meal followed by a good review of the chicken salad sandwich and a poor review of the grilled salmon meal. I still rated the restaurant a 4 mainly about the first meal.Since my last review, I've tried the hamburger (3.5) and fries (2) which I didn't care for the seasoning used on them. Most recently, I tried my belived meatloaf meal again and left really disappointed. The previous meatloaf had a firmer slightly crispy exterior and a smokey flavor making it unusual and delicious. This time it had your typical soft exterior with still a hint of smoke but it's now back to your average tasting meatloaf (3). The side salad has been downsized significantly in size and quality. Now it's just some lettuce and sliced cherry tomatoes (3). I don't know what happened but it's not the same robust salad I had a couple of months ago. Finally the biggest disappointment was the mashed potatoes and cream gravy. The old gravy was full of rich flavor and consistency. Now it's very thin gravy with little flavor. More of an afterthought. It's like drinking whole milk your entire life and then trying a glass of skim. Finally over my last two meals here the portion of complimentary cornbread has been reduced in size. Unfortunately I did not take any pics of this meal. My experiences have noted a decline since my first visit. I am sorry to report this because I really liked this restaurant initially but don't like it trending downward as it has. I probably won't return.

I met some friends up here for dinner one night. When I arrived there was a note on the door saying that it was closed and would open later at 6p. I was meeting my friend at 5:30p, so I gave them a call and we decided to wait till 6p instead of meeting somewhere else. They arrived at the restaurant around 5:45p and we took another look at the door and the sign had been removed and they were now open.We went inside, and you order at the counter. The counter person was very nice, and since it was my 1st time going it took me awhile to decide what I wanted. She didn't get impatient with me (there wasn't anyone behind me) and she even made some suggestions. After you order, you get a number, your drink glass and find your own seat. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We took a seat next to the windows and waited for our dinner. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak, Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans.Chicken Fried Steak - was a good size, nicely breaded and tender. It was pretty good. The cream gravy was really good.Mashed Potatoes - Smooth and creamy. What you'd expect when ordering mashed potatoes.Green Beans - Probably my favorite part of the meal. I love green beans and these didn't disappoint.I'd go back if I was in the neighborhood, but wouldn't make a special trip to go. It was good, just not GREAT!

The place was very casual and welcoming. TVs to watch a game and a live band was setting up while we were just about to leave. It is counter service style and you get your own utensils and drinks. They bring your order to the table by the number system. If you are looking for a laid back bar/ grill this is your kinda place. The cornbread that they brought out complimentary was perfection. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for the table, again it was perfect. We both ordered chicken fried chicken. This is where it got alittle eh. The batter for the chicken really needed seasoning along with the gravy. The mashed potatoes were homemade and good. The buttered corn was burnt tasting. A few things that we found could be corrected easily but then again this is just my opinion. If I was in the area again, maybe give them another try. But you might have a different experience so please give them a try. Like I said. The cornbread is worth it !!!!

We went back for round 3! . I had the cheeseburger this time because I love a good seasoned burger with meat you can actually see! The flavor was very good and it had a 1/2 lb Patty!!! I couldn't finish it all. I had the onion strings with it and they were so good. Super crispy and good seasoning. I did get the southwestern egg rolls - they're my favorite! My husband had the Patty melt and fries. He really liked it and couldn't believe how thick the patty was. Good amount of onions on it. Had a bit of a sweet flavor. It's the sauce they put on it. Of course everyone was so sweet. Rolando took our order and again came over to make sure we didn't need anything. I discussed liquor with Tulio the owner. I'm a wine drinker and he is stocking up on wines that are good and not your low shelf stuff. Love this place!! Give it a try. Tell Tulio Miss Lou sent you!
