I need to post a GREAT Review for Curate! I tell you, I wasn't expecting that much from them but I ate there twice during my stay and both meals were outstanding. The chicken and shrimp dishes were delicious. Very impressed with the chef. If you like chicken soup like I do, I asked the bartender if it was worthy trying and she said it was amazing. So for $9 I decided what the heck and boy was she right. There was just something unique and so flavorful with the chicken soup and I would get it every time now. The service was great too and the place has a wonderful atmosphere. If you're staying at the Marriott, there's no need to leave the building, your delicious dinner is right there on the 2nd floor. Enjoy.

The bread pudding was delicious could have had a whole scoop of ice cream instead of a dollop. Wings were not good. Chicken fried chicken was small but tasted ok. Overall felt like an average hotel bar. Service was a little slow. Ambiance was great and location is perfect if you're visiting with family at TMC. I would only try again due to lack of other nearby options.

Food was good and service was quick and very friendly. We ate dinner here twice, servings were fairly large and good value.

My level of expectation at chain hotels is pretty low. This hit that level. The decor is inviting and the bartender was friendly. I started with Kofta meatballs which were wildly over cooked and I suspect deep fried. Before I was halfway through that app a manager dropped my entree in front of me without any comment. Dropping entrees when someone is halfway through an app course is amateur hour at best. My entree was the roasted chicken with grits and brussel sprouts. The brussels were basically uncooked and the grits were entirely dominated by cheese. It was edible but that's about it. One of the thinks that bothered me the most was they only had salad forks which drives me nuts. I asked for a dinner form and was told what they gave me was all they had. Bizarre.

This place is across from Houston Methodist in the Marriott. We got lemon drop martinis and the nachos which were quite good. It's a little expensive but what can you expect from a hotel bar? The food that I saw going out to other people looked good.

Modi the bartender was so nice and professional. She listens to my stories and gives me great advices. The foods was awesome. I got the texas sweet heat burger and my husband got the fish tacos ( she even went extra mile to replace one of the fish to shrimp since he wanted both). The service was spectacular. Highly recommend. Definitely will come back

This place was a good choice for dinner since I didn't want to venture out from the hotel after the parking debacle I experienced, which is another review. My server was attentive and pleasant. I started with a signature cocktail which wasn't very well made, so I switched to wine for dinner. I had the citrus linguine, which was good but needed a little more citrus flavor. This was easily remedied with a few lemon wedges squeezed over. Large TV that was playing the Astros game, and a few smaller ones. Nice atmosphere. Would visit again if staying at this hotel.

Pretty good food for a limited menu hotel restaurant. We had the fish tacos which were grilled, fresh and delicious, hot wings were your basic, and the salmon was better than expected! Service was just ok. Not enough wait staff for customers. But we were in no rush so it was fine. Key lime pie was delish! It was perfect after a long day of traveling to stay at hotel and get a decent dinner!

Totally blown away by this place. I don't expect a hotel restaurant to have good food but this place does. I ate here solo before the Taylor Swift concert on a Friday night and wish that I had more people with me so that I could have tried more food. The bartender was friendly and helpful. I had two beers and a mixed drink - the mixed drink was a rum/pineapple juice/cranberry concoction and tasted yummy. I ordered the chicken fried chicken with bacon and onion green beans and mashed potatoes, with white gravy. When I say that this food was delicious, I'm not kidding. This was the most tasty chicken fried chicken I've ever eaten. Moist, juicy, tender. Not overcooked, light and tasty breading. It was outstanding. The mashed potatoes were a little bit dry for my taste but they were good. Gravy was delicious as were the green beans. I really enjoyed my meal here. Solid place!!

NOT THE MENU you see on here!!! They have down graded ( and I do mean downgraded) to American average at best. Really bummed I was looking forward to their shrimp and cheddar grits.
