CRU Lounge North Houston

Party was jumping! I went last Friday and the atmosphere was everything Houston! If you are looking for a good time, come here!

Impromptu type Friday night meet with our couple friends for drinks.... Before walking in, I was a bit apprehensive because of some of the patrons going in to the lounge (looked a bit sketchy). Hubby insisted we should go in our friends were waiting for us. Walk in, and the first vibe I felt was "club" + baaabaayyy I am not for the clubs or the streets (been there done that). Honestly, I immediately wanted to leave BUT we saw our friends and it was love, so we checked the spot out, not a lot of people at 9:24pm but whatever, right. The young lady that attended to us was pleasant. We did get a hookah which was meh. The drinks were not as strong when asked for a fruity drink like a lemon drop. The $5 shots were pretty good, we enjoyed that! We ordered wings + fries. The wings were fried hard and were a bit too hard to eat while the fries were on point, my husband ordered the fries twice. After a few shots + drinks you couldn't get us all to stop laughing and enjoying company. I almost forgot to mention the guy on the side smoking a joint inside the establishment which was weird to us, because there is no smoking in most establishments and unlawful to some marijuana in a lounge. I don't know, but we did not like it. Reminded us of college days lol. The ambiance was truly vibing with the green lights on black, after a while I needed some regular light, but hey it was a cool experience and I would also say, maybe it was the day but it seems like it's more for the younger 21+ crowd.

I can't give a review on actually going to the restaurant because I just got takeout. The picture of the shrimp and fries on the website and on the delivery apps is very misleading. The shrimp look a lot bigger and what I got was very tiny shrimp. The taste of the food wasn't bad, so no complaints there just the size of it.

Nah. A no go for a Friday night. Nobody is here and the Bartender didn't even come serve us for a good hour. We just stopped by because it was my birthday and want to "catch a vibe" . Only thing I caught was bad attitude and service from the employees. Young music, young crowd and $15 shots. Huh for a shot of Malibu? nah.

We were looking for a new place to vibe out and went to Cru by suggestion from a friend . My expectations were exceeded. Good food, music and even better atmosphere. Me and my friends will definitely be back.

Great place to grab a drink and enjoy the sights. The music is on point too. There's a theme for every night during the week. Plus it's a cool place to reserve for your next party.

Food is great! Brunch is better! Sam has the best customer service!! The DJ on the weekends are amazing !

i am very disappointed in this CRU location. I will not be coming back. Please save your money and your time...
