Great ambiance, appetizers are delicious, the entrees were decent, and the service is good. The restaurant is spacious, set up with booths and tables for large or small groups. It has an extensive bar and menu. Everything listed on the menu was available to order. The server was excellent (unusual for a Caribbean restaurant, lol). The food was tasty.I ordered an appetizer sampler with haitian patties, conch fritters, and accra. For entrees, the turkey tasso with black rice and Mac and cheese. Turkey in sauce with bunan. Goat in sauce with white rice. And, fried goat with black rice. The appetizers were all delicious. No complaints. The turkey tasso was well seasoned. However, I like my tasso more tnder and less chewy. I hate chewing tasso for 10 minutes straight before I can swallow it. That's too much work for me. Some people like their meat more tough. I didn't try the goat, but everyone had the same thoughts... The food is good, but it was missing a little umph (that thing that can't really be explained). The Mac and cheese is more like Macaroni salad. And, the lemonade is not Haitian lemonade. They missed the mark with that one.Overall, the ambiance is nice, the food was decent, I wouldn't frequent this spot, but I also wouldn't completely write it off.
