When I'm in the area and wanting something healthy~ Craft Pita is one of my favorite options. Meats are always tender. Love the crispy tahini salad, it's a must for me each visit. Counter service, strip center parking situation, I love the lightness of this menu I never leave feeling stuffed, but always full. But, I don't love that pita they bring with the entrée. It's just kinda dry and whatever

My wife, mother n law and myself decided to stop by Craft Pita after running errands all day! We walk in and we're not pleasantly greeted by the employee at the register. We asked for recommendations and he did not know what we should get. (I don't know if he is new or not) however, I would hope an employee knows at least 1 thing off the menu. We had an idea of what we wanted but we wanted to know what employee thought & he could not give us any recommendations. We ended up ordering the 2 chicken dinner special's and a gyro with rice on the side. The chicken was dry as the Sahara desert that we didn't even finish it. The sides were under seasoned and bland which was altogether underwhelming. The only food item that somewhat gave hope was the Gyro, although it was overcooked however the seasoning was its saving grace. The side sauces tasted like mayo and rice was overcooked. The fries tasted old. For Mediterranean food I would expect a little more passion behind the food like I've tasted over the nation & world. A good thing going about this place was the decor inside and out. It was light and refreshing. Hopefully & I say hopefully... this was just a bad day for them. Food- 2 stars Atmosphere- 4 stars Service- 2 stars

Yum! We enjoyed everything we've tried here.Salad bowl was fresh, with a good variety of veggies, and although I had asked for dressing on the side, they got confused and mixed it in anyway. But really appreciated that they didn't drench the salad in dressing (a lot of places overdo it, hence I always ask for dressing on the side), and it was just the right amount. Otherwise I would have gone back and asked them to remake the salad, but honestly every bite was very enjoyable. Also loved the crumbled pita chips garnished on top. Gave my salad a nice crunch, such an excellent pairing. Our whole family loved the chicken kebab too. Well seasoned, not overly salted, and juicy. Another winner. My only complaint was all the burnt grill marks that I had to cut off, but otherwise it was very tasty. Chicken pita was delicious as well. The shawarma style comes with fries wrapped inside, which was a surprise. I'm not Lebanese or grew up with Mediterranean food, but to me, the addition of fries makes the shawarma sandwich seem more Americanized and less authentic to food in that region. I may be wrong, so won't claim any expertise. However, I will say that our whole family loved the shawarma sandwich with fries combo as well, so I am not complaining. Also loved that they didn't smother the sandwich with garlic sauce. It was the perfect amount. Yum!My favorite item of our meal was probably the baked pita chips. It was so so addicting that towards the everyone was fighting for the last bit of chips. I already miss those chips. Definitely will be adding craft pita to our rotation of regulars!

This is my 2nd time visiting this establishment. To say the least, it leaves a lot to be desired. I walked into the place, and there were 2 people dining who had already received their food and one person in front of me who was quickly assisted and his order taken. The cashier then turns around and walks off after taking the person in front of me order and never says a word to me. Her and the staff continue working on whatever it is they are doing, and 5 mins later, I'm still standing here, not having been serviced in an empty establishment. It tracks. I then wave down an employee who is rushing by and ask what the requirements are to receive service at this particular establishment. And she replies oh I didn't realize she didn't take your order... I decided I was no longer interested in ordering food at this particular establishment anymore. Furthermore, as I previously stated, this was not my first time visiting. On my first visit, I ordered the falafel wrap, and it was terrible. It was very bitter and not what I expected as I have had my share or falafel wraps. But I came back as a colleague mentioned that they have really good bowls which I was attempting to try but tjos business doesn't like serving customers so I went next door to Adair kitchen where I was immediately greeted and they were busier than Craft Pita But a Cava recently opened down the road in the Med center. I highly recommend it if you're looking for Mediterranean food or hamsa in Rice Village.

Look, Craft Pita need to sponsor me because my wallet is drained every time I come in. It's dangerous that it's so close to home cause it's easily walkable from the apartments around the corner. After a sweaty workout class, all I can think about is the rice bowl with Lebanese rice and the rotisserie chicken. Truly the perfect post workout meal to ever hit my mouth. I pretty much eat the ENTIRE entree cause it's THAT good, but also quite healthy in my books. Though the pickled turnips needs to be cut thinner or julienned so that I can get every bite in the bowl. Not just a rectangle piece and a bite every time. I want a good flow of picking up the spoon and getting every bit and piece of food from that bowl to my mouth. My boyfriend swears by the beef kabob pita sandwich wrap with fries. After having it so many times, he doesn't believe in trying new things. He'd rather stick to the good stuff. We both don't care for the side of pita because to be honest, it's a waste cause of how dry it always is. But hey, they're consistent on the dryness. There came a point where I had to get my own fries since it doesn't come with the rice bowl and only the sandwich. My boyfriend doesn't share his fries, so I had to get my own. Turns out he eats his AND mine. rude. I need one of those covid dividers so he keeps his sticky fry hands to himself. And only look at my pretty face...or the tv since baseball season is happening. Hence the sponsorship cause I need unlimited fries. Also, please get rid of putting the fries in the green cup. Put it on the plate or a different place holder. I need more volume on the fries here. Help me out.We like to get an additional order of the pitadilla. Totally slaps. We like to take some home to eat the next day for lunch. You know, that left over good good. parking is plennnnty! Great place. 11/10 in my books

Wow, for a fast service place Craft Pita really exceeded my expectations. I got the chicken pita and it tasted delicious! The chicken was so moist and the sauce in the pita paired well. I remember wanting to eat only half of the pita because it was so big, but it was so good I ate the whole thing. Best part is that it was affordable. The baklava wasn't too bad but it was my first time trying it and it was very sweet for my taste.

Really delicious and well crafted bowls pitas and Mediterranean fare. I really enjoyed my chicken pita shawarma style (which includes fries inside the pita--game changer). Service was fantastic and food came out fast. It's a counter service type restaurant where you place the order at the front and then choose your table and they bring your food out to you. My siblings and I decided to do a spontaneous family dinner here. My sister and I got the pitas and brother got the bowl which included rice and no pita. We also got the roasted potatoes and cauliflower as appetizers. I personally enjoyed the potatoes the most but the overall favorite was the cauliflower. I would love to try this place again. Nice ambiance as well, super bright and clean and nice aesthetic. Good choice for a quick delicious dinner after work.

This place was great. I haven't had a better shawarma/falafel in Houston. Service is GREAT. Brandon helped us out and went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our meal.

I have eaten here a couple of times. You order at the counter. Their menu is not too large and the prices are reasonable. The food can be hit or miss. The falafel pita I had was a bit dry. It probably could have used more olive oil in the hummus and more garlic sauce in general. The cheese flatbread was tasty and so was the zataar.Another time, the hummus appetizer was just too salty. I left more than half of it uneaten. The counter girl checked on me and I told her the issue. She went to the kitchen to talk to the person who made the batch but she never followed up with me the rest of the meal. The place is nice, bright, and clean. However, I'm not sure if the path to the bathrooms are accessible for a wheelchair because of the table layout in the back.

I ate at Craft Pita this evening with my family. I was hoping the meal would be great, and something we could return to regularly, but it didn't turn out that way. It's certainly not inexpensive for a fast casual type of restaurant. I paid $22 for a Chicken Pita and Feta Summer Salad. If the food had been great, I'd have no problem paying that amount but the Chicken Pita, at $12.95, had a lot of stuff inside but very little chicken. Insane. A handful of bites of the Feta Summer Salad were good but then I started tasting and seeing green olives in the salad, which I hate and which weren't in the salad ingredient description. After this experience, I don't see my family ever returning.
