Crab & Shell Cajun Seafood

Sydney is awesome!! This human ... no words!!! This was the best seafood restaurant I've ever had in my entire life!! Amazing!!! We had a great time here!My seafood boil was yummy... I'm in heaven! Thank you Sydney for providing great service to our table!!!There's plenty of parking but it's, finders keepers in this busy area

Cajun food outside of the South always seems like a let down. A lot of people swear by TK's out on Yale and Havana but I really don't like it all. Today, when I was driving around looking for something different for lunch I found the "Crab & Shell" on Colfax. Wow!!! This place was terrific. Seriously. I had a sausage, black mussels fries and a coleslaw, in spicy Cajun sauce. Definitely fresh. Perfectly cooked. Seasoned just right, and not greasy. If you haven't tried this place yet; get out and try it for lunch!! I will definitely be back and I'll bringing my friends for dinner. Highly recommend.

I ordered through Yelp/Doordash and it did not disappoint. The food was ready by the time I got there it was all ready and you pay through the app, so it was super quick and convenient. I loved the fact they had so many different options that you could choose from, some even having three combos. My personal favorite being the crab legs, crawfish and shrimp. If I wasn't eating alone have totally preferred to eat in the restaurant, they have big bay windows to keep things from getting smelly and hot plus the decor was so fun. I will definitely come back again; everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. Only thing I wish they would have included in the to go order would be lemons, gloves and a bib. Overall, 4/5 stars. Hoping to make it a full 5 stars after I eat in the restaurant and get the full experience.

Like fried food? Crab & Shell gotcha covered.I was looking for the best deal on HH shucked oysters and found myself sitting at the bar at CSCS last weekend. All the sudden, the thought of fried oysters popped into my mind and there they were, competing with a pile 'o fries to claim my attention. My take? Very good bar food. Would return to try out the fresh version. So here's what my admittedly unhealthy lunch looked like. Sign me, David "Did you say fries?" M

This place is pretty good. We had the meal for 2 and killed it, it was the perfect amount! The Dungeness crab was okay, but the snow crab, corn, potatoes and andouille sausage was really good! We also had the calamari... and the fish itself was good, but the breading needs some work. I've included pics, so you can see for yourself, but this is pretty good overall.The place is clean and chill, with pretty solid service.

I should have written a review of Crab & Shell Months ago. I never thought I'd see the day where I frequent a restaurant weekly but when I tell you, I frequent this place WEEKLY, it means you should go. Not only is this a local, family-owned business, but the food is delicious. My roots trace back to Louisiana and I am a huge fan of the seafood boil. I had been on the search for a decent seafood boil place in Denver and had been disappointed by many different places. I think the Yelp algorithm must've heard my call because when this spot opened up, it suggested I try it out because it was new. I also LOVED that this restaurant was close to my home in Cap Hill. My first reaction when i walked in was how clean the restaurant was and how it didn't smell like seafood when you walked in the door. In the warmer months, they open the front garage-door windows which makes for a pretty great atmosphere. So enough about my thrill for this spot and more about the quality of food. On a scale of 1-5 the food is consistently a 5. I only get the boils and I build my own and I go with the house blend sauce either medium or hot. The sauce is delicious. They put a ton of fresh garlic in the sauce which is why I think it tastes so good. Each boil comes with 2 potatoes and a piece of corn. It's always hot. The seafood is always clean and tastes fresh. The prices are super reasonable too. I think my favorite thing about this restaurant is how friendly the staff is. I go quite frequently and am always greeted with a smile and a hello. When I leave it's the same but with goodbyes and "I'll see you next times." Everyone there is kind and hard-working. When you're there, ask the servers about their story and I think you will be surprised. You'll, at the very least, have a lovely conversation. I can't think of a better place to review than Crab & Boil and I truly hope they stay in open for many years to come.

Pretty darn good. Not my Maryland blue crabs or Nola crawfish....but this is probably the best option I have found in the Denver area for shellfish. I went with a friend and we ordered the party of 3 combo (Dungenesscrab, snow crab, shrimp, lobster, corn, potatos, and sausage) . This was more than enough food!! Lots of seafood and plenty of sausage. If I go again I might swap some sausage for corn or potatoes because there was a lot of sausage! The food was amazing. Meaty, well cooked and fresh. The one thing I didn't love is that all the seasoning options are butter based and are very buttery. Thankfully we were able to get the food served naked with all the seasonings and sauces on the side. Their cajun seasoning isn't old bay or zatarans, but it's not a bad alternative. There's also a full bar and tvs for sports watching. Place was clean and the service was impeccable. If you're in the need for shellfish and can afford this price point, I'd highly recommend checking them out.

Loved the experience I had at crab and shell! Sometimes a girl just gets the hankering for some seafood. So I satisfied my craving at this establishment! I had a Delicious seafood boil, with the Cajun seasoning! I also added some extras in there as well! Everything was delicious and it came out quickly as well! The staff was on it with everyone in the building! Will be back again!

Good flavors tasted good but what is this tiny piece of crab meat coming outta this big shell? Give me cheap crab meat vibes, fake crab, or like undeveloped crabs for cheap. Either way good taste but quality of product is Great value.
