Cow Talk Steak House

This is an unassuming place by the cattle auction that knows how to cook a steak!!! Quality of the beef was amazing as well. I had a filet and my husband had the t-bone. We will be back.

What it lacks in decor it more than makes up for in service and food quality. Definitely coming back. We had the hamburger steak and the ribeye.

Just stopped for lunch on the way to Dallas. Got a 13$ filet which was perfectly cooked and tender. The cheeseburger and grilled cheese my kids had were also very good. Bathrooms were clean and the waitstaff was very friendly. We will be back on our next trip through.

Reasonably priced buffet, very good food. The locals have been eating lunch here for a long time.

Awesome experience every time I go. Waiter Jack is full of knowledge and witticisms to keep you laughing. The home style food is top notch and cooked to perfection. It's a buffet all you can eat and you can order from the menu as well anytime you want. It's sometimes quiet and sometimes lively depending on the crowd. A lot of locals eat here and many are daily regulars.

Food was good, down home country cooking, got the buffet, great salad bar. They also had mashed taters, green beans , fresh rolls and corn bread, fried chicken and fried pork fritters. Jack was our waiter and he was amazing. Oh the banana pudding and banana cake was amazing Well done

This is GOOD home cooking!! The food is good and fresh, and the desserts are often offered in passing on trays. Customer service is top notch, especially with Lynn, Chelcie or Jack!

Cow Talk Steak House is a small country cafe style restaurant with amazing home cooking! They offer menu items along with a buffet option. Food was fresh, delicious, large but not obese serving sizes. Service was friendly and quick! Hamburger steak, okra, potatoes and shrimp were delicious! We will definitely return!

We loved the Chicken fried steak. It was crispy and not greasy. Loved the waiter. We will definitely go back.
