Country Corners

Country corner is the place to be! Cheap beer, friendly atmosphere, and amazing bartenders! New owners have worked hard on updates, while also keeping the nostalgia. Friday night karaoke is a fun change of pace! Live music every Saturday night on their big patio! And BBQ truck located in the parking lot Thursday-Sunday. Great establishment!

Music sucks but the BYOB with handles of liquor was unique. Needs a new DJ, but the atmosphere is a good change of pace.

I'd call Country Corner a dive bar, but when you're there, there's no diving allowed - the gene pool is too shallow. I was invited to meet at Country Corner by my cousin, who likes to try out interesting establishments. They have a tv, pool tables and shuffle board, but people don't go there to play games, they go there to drink and hang out with the other residents in this rural part of Houston. They have beer, lots of it and cold. No draft and nothing fancy, though they do have Shiner Bock.When we asked the bartender about food, she offered to pop us some microwave popcorn. Otherwise, your only option is delivery from Domino's, the only place that will deliver there. We ordered some, since we were hungry and had a popcorn appetizer. The waitress popped a microwave dinner in, but wouldn't let us buy any of her stash. The live entertainment that night was the owner's daughter (the owner was one of the patrons as well). She came in with her home-ec project, a doll that she was supposed to treat as her baby. She explained that the babies (the girls used sacks of rice when I was in high school) wet itself, cried, and could be hooked up to a computer to see if it had been fed or dropped, etc. We wondered if the cigarrete smoke would give her a bad grade. I'm giving this place 3 stars on the basis that, if you are out in this part of Cypress, this is as good as it gets. If you're anywhere else, don't waste your gas unless you want to go wading.

My friends and I came here on a Friday night for a drink. Heather asked for our IDs and we showed them. She asked for another form of ID. We have never been asked this question, so we said we don't have one (we didn't know a credit card was an ID. We thought it had to be a passport or something). She started shouting with an attitude at us saying that they were busted by TABC and "she is the one who can decide if you get a drink". We are all well over 21, and there was no reason for the shouting and attitude she gave us. We left and will not be coming back.

Great bartenders! Great crowds! Can't wait to play there again! It's a little hole in the wall kind of place but don't let that fool you! Never had the food but I am looking forward to it. We need more little beer joints like this!

Really dirty, gross, and the red headed bartender is questionable. Wanted to go check it out because I went to school with the owner. I wanted to throw in some support. The backyard is an extremely relaxing atmosphere. I've been to ice houses all over the world, and I wouldn't waste my time on this one. The beer is cheap, but if the red head is working, good luck getting a beer. Never in my life have I dealt with someone as rude just to hand me a beer. Very Smokey, and a non welcoming, extremely judgmental atmosphere.

If you haven't been to the Country Corner yet, what are you waiting for!! The beautiful new outdoors renovations and atmosphere are awesome. The beer is ice cold, and the bartenders are fast and so friendly. You'll walk in a customer, but leave like family. Great place for an outing or group gathering with Karaoke on Fridays and amazing live music on Saturdays. Come play pool, darts, or golf inside.

The service was great, and beer prices were really reasonable. Loved the atmosphere, friendly people. Love the updates to the outdoor patio area.

Staff is SO SWEET at Country Corner. The improvements they have made a cool plae even better. Always have good bands. Great laid back place. I also love that it is smoke free inside!

I love the Country Corner ! This is a fun place to hangout and have a great time . The service here is outstanding and all the bartenders are outstanding. Friday nights are my all time favorite day do be here since they have karaoke and the crowd is all ages. There is a great BBQ truck and he serves outstanding food. This place has cheap drinks and a huge variety to choose from. There is also multiple games such as pool, darts, shuffle board and golden tee.
