I happened to be really engrossed into the occasion of my finance's day when I came here, which is why there aren't many pictures with my evaluation. Everything of the time that I spent here seemed excellent. A wonderful chance to take in a little bit of all things during the Butcher's Feast. We enjoyed the two cocktails we tried as well. I didn't find anything offensive. The level of service was outstanding. I sincerely value all the efforts as well as suggestions offered by the waitress to make certain that we had the best possible experience. The restaurant is well constructed and presents a terrific surroundings. I plan on return.

I Fnally came here for Miami Spice 2024. We came here for an anniversary lunch and it felt so special. The staff gave us multiple congratulatory remarks but we also were served some complimentary champagne for the occasion. They came to please us and that they did. Presenting the food are a Refined, professional, knowledgeable and personable staff whose attention to detail is remarkable. The ambiance is sophisticated, sexy & chic. Just the right amount of mysterious entryway combined with cozy dining area. It feels like a 5 star experience once you step foot in here and the food lives up to the hype. We got the fried chicken just to try it since it was limited edition & the butchers box lunch (this was totally worth it!). The butchers box lunch was a MUST. Unlike other Korean bbq spots we've been to, the staff cooks the food for you here, which was a relief bcuz they're serving such amazing and specialty meats we didn't want to risk overcooking it ourselves. All the meat was just so delish I can't even recall one that stood out as better among the choices. We also both loved the sides, I was a big fan of the egg souffle, it was moist and I found it to be a generous portion. the soy sauce ice cream was a perfect, silky finish. This place is definitely a great go to for a special occasion. It deserves that Michelin star!

Great service! It apparently off season and we came for lunch right at opening and the crowd picked up quickly. The food was amazing, meat quality is really good. I didn't smell like food like I usually do after K-BBQ. Highly recommend - dinner is hard to get into so if you're down for lunch get there early!

I'll start off by saying I love going to Michelin restaurants but there's many across the US and only enough time to go to the ones that making eating enjoyable. COTE Miami definitely earned its one star Michelin accolade in terms of front of house service (Ethan the waitstaff was phenomenal) but it sadly needs to work on making sure the appetizers/ side dishes on the Butcher's Feast remain constant in quality and most importantly, floor manager Bram's (?) handling of a diner's inability to eat spicy food needs to be improved. Either place a blanket warning on the menu saying diners need to be able to tolerate medium spice to order Butcher's Feast, or learn to gracefully accommodate dietary restrictions.Ethan was my main server tonight for the Butcher's Feast and he handled all moments with the grace, poise, and skill of a Michelin-restaurant waitstaff. I also greatly appreciated Ethan's patience as I perused the menu, and his knowledge of each ingredient in the dishes. I was impressed by how he was very aware of not rushing the diner, and offered to take pauses between meats when I looked inundated by dishes. Ethan also did a great job cooking each cut medium-rare. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and his fellow waitstaff especially Juan were just as professional. For front of house service alone including Ethan, Juan, and Oky, I would have given a 5 star rating.---Thoughts on the Butcher's FeastBeef consumme 5/5- so good I asked if they have it separately on the menu, Ethan kindly offered to ask the kitchen if he could bring me a bowl on the house which made me really feel the Michelin vibe of service... but then Bram later turned it into a surprise substitution for the two stews I couldn't eat... and I was really not really impressed by how that unexpected switcharoo happened, because it made the restaurant feel miserly, which is not the vibe a Michelin should give to a diner already not getting the full meal they paid for. A single bowl of clear broth does not substitute two bowls of spicy stew, one of which contains pork belly and the other of which is a rich vegetable stew. Frankly, I was astounded by the nerve of Bram for pulling the switcharoo and also stunned that I even had to say anything about it, not once, but multiple times.Appetizers:Fermented radish- classic done wellFermented cauliflower- have not seen cauliflower done before, slightly sweet, goodFermented radish chunks- has a bite, strong spice level, couldn't eat more than one biteFermented kimchi- very nicely done, in house, spice level was greatEgg souffle- honestly disgusting. Surprised a Michelin restaurant burns its eggs and serves it to the diner but I have videos of scraping the sides of the souffle to show charred egg and that charred taste permeated the majority of the souffle. Also extremely heavy handed with the salt. I've had way better souffles at home and in no-name Korean hole in the wall restaurants, this dish was like choking down solid burnt chunks of egg. 1/5Wet aged hangar steak, best with the ssamjam- brings out the richness. 5/545 day Dry aged rib cap , try with a small piece of kimchi to cut the fat- mellow, juicy. 5/5American wagyu flatiron - at minimal 45% Japanese - try alone or tiny bit of ssamjamProbably my least favorite, tougher gamier meat- 3/5.Galbi- sweet, classic. Paired with the daikon strips to cut through the fat. Fattiest meat of the four of course, because it's galbi. 3/5.Grilled ttokbokki - yum, palate cleanser Grilled mushroom- yumFermented soy stew- unexpected spicy bite, includes jalapeño- the flavor blend was delicious and the zucchini was standout but I couldn't get past three bites because of my spice tolerance. Despite chugging a glass of water, my nose and eyes began watering and the experience became too unpleasant to enjoy eating either of the spicy stews. If my mouth can't take the spice, I know my stomach and guts won't be able to handle it either.Kimchi stew- less spicy than the soy stew but also much less interesting for anyone familiar with Korean cuisine - the spice level is less than the soy stew but if you've low spice tolerance, this may be painful to eat- I managed one bite .Substitution for the two stews: Korean angel hair anchovy broth with filet mignon- Delicious, could use way less salt, the anchovy base is a great flavor but overpowered by the salt; filet mignon was the dreamIce cream: vanilla ice cream with caramel- it's vanilla ice cream with caramel. Fine---General comments:Ambience: on the darker endMusic: is blasting loudly, club vibeWait staff: Ethan, Juan, Oky phenomenalManagement: Bram did a poor job handling diner food sensitivities. Did he eventually replace both stews with two dishes? Yes, but only after I advocated for myself and waited a whole extra hr if we include the time for both dishes which was not worth my time.

Fashionably chic which befits its location in the design district. Vibes of Miami Vice (Hope I'm not dating myself). Speaking of which is a great place to take a date. There's very good ventilation so you don't come out smelling like barbecue. And they cook for you table side.Ordered the Butcher's Feast which is $74 a person. The four cuts included were hangar steak, dry aged prime rib eye , wagyu flatiron, and marinated short rib (galbi). If ordering a la carte would get the galbi and the dry aged prime ribeye. The feast includes beef bone consommé, a limited selection of ban chan, scallion salad, egg soufflé, spicy kimchi stew, spicy doenjang stew and soft serve ice cream. They will give you more Banchan, egg soufflé and stews upon request so you won't leave hungry. They make great cocktails. Had the Cote Fashioned. Definitely recommend.

Amazing dinner at COTE yesterday evening. We arrived a bit early and were able to grab a drink at the bar while we waited to be seated. The service was top notch - one of the best service experiences I've ever had. I never had to ask for a refill (or for anything really). Our server was very welcoming and kind. We ordered the Korean bacon to start followed by the Butchers Feast. TBH I would skip on the bacon next time because the feast is more than enough food! Each piece of meat was better than the next and all the sides really elevated them. I also loved the soft serve for dessert (not pictured). Will absolutely return whenever I'm in the mood for a large steak dinner :)

Came here for Miami Spice but opted to do the Butcher's Feast as it's only $14 more than what they were offering for their Miami Spice Butcher's Lunch special and you get so much more food for the money. This isn't your typical Korean BBQ place, but a really upscale and modern interpretation of Korean BBQ. When the Butcher's block arrives, it doesn't seem like a lot of food, but it did fill us up especially with the Egg Souffle, kimchi and doen-jang stews, rice and various banchans. Now, is it worth the hype and the one Michelin star in NYC? Not really as in the DC area where I live, there are much better ones. But for Miami, it's good. I was a little disappointed with the American Wagyu Flatiron as there wasn't much marbling. My favorite beef was the hanger steak and Dry Aged Ribeye. Service was really good. Our server cooked all of our meats medium rare. The Egg Soufflé was really good as well as the scallion salad. Ask for their spicy ssamjang as it did provide a good spice level. Their version of Old Fashioned is spot on. I would recommend the Butcher's Feast if it's your first time as it does provide four different cuts of beef.

Popped in for happy hour (4-6p) on a Friday and was surprised how good the drinks and food were. Prices are great too, all food and drink items on the happy hour menu are $8.88. The happy hour chicken nuggets are fire! They are spicy but very good, and worth going to happy hour just for this. The Korean bacon was ok too. Not much fat but not much flavor compared to the chicken. They had hip hop music playing in the restaurant and supposedly have a DJ after a certain time (think late dinner). Benjamin at the bar was very knowledgeable and skilled, and took great care of us. Can't wait to go back.

The food here is amazing, and the drinks were both strong and delicious. For drinks we had professor midori, miami pornstar, and finesse which are all good choices. Then, they start you off with a variety of appetizers before the main course. The bone broth was so good we had to ask for a second round. We also added the steak tartare for apps and it was very tasty. For the main course we had the AW ribeye, COTE galbi, A5 Wagyu Ribeye and Wagyu paella. The meat was cooked right in front of us and it was incredibly juicy and tender. The service was quick and attentive, with the staff answering all our questions. This place is perfect for special occasions, with its dim lighting creating a romantic, intimate, and sophisticated atmosphere. I can't wait to come back.

We had been wanting to come try COTE Miami for a while now, and when we saw they were on the Miami Spice participating restaurant list for lunch, we knew that was the perfect time to try it.My husband and I were both off work for Labor Day, so we made a reservation at COTE to try the restaurant for lunch. We made a reservation pretty easily with our desired time of choice a few weeks in advance on Resy. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation and were greeted by one of the restaurant staff members and were promptly seated at a table thereafter. The restaurant is really beautiful, clean, and the design is stunning. One of the restaurant staff members came by our table with menus and provided a warm welcome. We ordered off of the Miami Spice 2024 menu for $35/person including a 3 course menu.My husband and I both ordered an ice tea to start ($5), and the Black Truffle Shrimp Salad as our starter. We ordered the Limited Edition Fried Chicken as our entree, and it closed with the cup of ice cream. All menu options were extremely tasty and fresh, and the portions were large as well. The salad was extremely tasty and the dressing was also really flavorful. The fried chicken was not greasy and impressed this Alabama boy! The ice cream was also very creamy and the caramel sauce on top was also really good as well. Overall it was a phenomenal dining experience and we look forward to returning to COTE again!
