I was a bit disappointed with the food. The actual waffles as a side were AWESOME but the Alfredo Pizza was missing the bacon and mushroom and BBQ pizza didn't have much sauce. The Philly cheese steak was really good but could use more meat. May have just been an off day though. I live upstairs so I will try it again and update my post after.

We popped in here for what I thought was going to be a quick dinner. We were the only ones in there and our food took far far too long to get there. We got the Cosmo special bowl with chicken thighs and rice. The chicken was pretty good, the rice was okay but not hot or even warm. We got two different cake slices, they were also okay. I'd stop by here again in a pinch but wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Came in with high expectations since the decor and ambiance is quite nice and everything is halal. The food pictures looked great online. Unfortunately, everything we ordered was very bland and had to douse everything in Tabasco. We ordered the deluxe burger (2/10), Cajun pasta (5/10), pepperoni pizza (1/10). I would suggest to use beef bacon since Turkey bacon is tasteless.

Service, food - We came here to eat lunch and were the only customers. The restaurant was out of everything requested- Broken Espresso machine, out of mozzarella sticks, out of shrimp and grits, the chef who was in charge of pizza left right after we ordered and we were told it would take 30 minutes to fulfill the order. They were also out of receipt paper. Not really sure why this restaurant was operating or open for the day if they didn't have the right resources to fulfill the order.

This place is my go to for Saturday/Sunday brunch. Forget Snooze or First Watch. This place is the truth. They make my hands down favorite shrimp and grits. They do an old-school Louisiana-style recipe that's unequaled in this city. The service is slow as molasses and they are always woefully understaffed but the food is worth the wait.

I reviewed Cosmo when they first opened and loved it at the time. I've been there several times since then over the past 2 years, but have had recurrent disappointments. The food is hit or miss, popular dishes suddenly dropped off their menu, the prices have skyrocketed, and their timing for orders has been abysmal. Most recently, I called for a to-go order and was told 15-20 mins, only to wait and still have no food 50 mins later - we requested a refund and left. I live just across the street from here so I was a frequent customer, but I am no longer planning to come back again. I really wanted to love this place and I'm disappointed in this outcome.

I love that their Halal. We've had the breakfast sampler, chocolate cake, pizza, burgers, rice bowls, and chicken wings. The chicken wings need to be marinated to develop a depth of flavor.. but everything else is amazing! I order here often, their very affordable if you order through grubhub; ubereats and DD are more expensive. Haven't been inside yet, but will definitely visit soon. The staff is also great, they call if something's wrong or their out of something you ordered, and they address you by your first name.

Cute corner eatery that caters to the people who can afford to live in the Mosaic, i. e. Not us. $8/crepe is almost worth one Kid's enjoyment of her Nutella one with strawberries and my appreciation for the chicken and mushroom one. We tried ordering pizza but none of their equipment was ready for that, despite there being 3 guys inside well before opening. Service was ok.Location is convenient for anyone wanting to visit Hermann Park Golf Course, which is probably why Cosmo Cafe has to charge enough to remain In such a hot spot.
