"3? Only 3? Yes, but with a strong caveat....My wife were looking forward to sharing the award-winning chicken fried steak while on our Texas trip. The beef was, admittedly, some of the best cooked and quality meat served to me this way. The corn, while canned, was hot, buttery, and a huge portion. The mash was good, but....HOW CAN YOU GIVE US LUKEWARM GRAVY ON YOUR AWARD WINNING DISH??? The gravy should be just as hot as the meat and veg. The fried zucchini was actually quite nice. Our servers were.....real. Like, keeping it real, Texas style. Drinks were refilled, and we genuinely felt taken care of.Would recommend, but for the love of Davy Crockett, heat up your gravy!!!!"
"2/14/2025, found this place through Facebook on their valentine's day special. We booked online which was very easy. The place when we first walk in I was kind of nervous due to the look of a sports bar theme. Then, our waiter came over and I asked him about the wine. He did tell me that he did not know much about the wine. He did go and look at the wine and told me it was Italian wine. I ordered a bottle. We looked at the special menu and I chose the lobster dumplings, and my boyfriend got the summer roll. I can say the summer rolls were great but the lobster ravioli looked good too and you can tell it was made from scratch, but you can tell they used frozen lobsters instead of fresh. The salads that came out were delicious. Next is the main course. We had the 48 oz steak. I am a person no matter what kind of steak it is I want Heinz 57 sauce, I have always been this way. I tried the steak with the cowboy butter and it was great. Perfectly cooked. I can say our waiter Tanner was a great waiter and was on top of everything. But the floor manager came over and you could tell he was drunk and left a bad impression about how management staff runs the restaurant. I was recommended that Tanner became the manager. He was good with the other wait staff and customers. Fired the floor manager!"

"This is your new stop between Houston and San Antonio. Trust me. Wow. Okay, first of all this place is set in a wonderful old house nestled just north of downtown Columbus. This place actually hugs you with wit and humor and class all at the same time. Fun paintings along with white table cloths and brass fixtures. Elegant. But what's a nice setting if the food isn't also great? MS delivers. We had apps and entrees from a full but not too-large a menu. Simple recognizable dishes for extremely well. We had salads, southern shrimp, braised short rib etc. All prepared and plated with an elegance and attention that matches the decor. Service was delightful attentive and kind. The owner even stopped by our table twice and spoke to us. Magnolia Society is worth the very short trek off of I-10 for food that is not a classless chain burger or prepackaged truck stop fare. This is your next go-to stop between San Antonio and Houston."
"My husband and I went out to the Fat Cat Lounge and Cafe today for lunch. Lemme tell y'all everything we had was amazing! We started with the trio dip appetizer (we chose Crack Chicken Dip, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and their Hummus) all were freaking delicious! We had the special Watermelon Gazpacho Soup which was so flavorful and refreshing...we both finished it and wanted to lick the bowl clean it was so good! For our main meal I had the Bacon Jam Blue Cheese Burger with Chef Rob's farm raised beef. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had! My hubby ordered the Chef's Special a Pulled Pork Sandwich and it was so delicious! Probably the best pulled pork sandwich he's ever had! If you haven't tried Fat Cat Lounge and Cafe, you need to do it right now!! We will be adding this restaurant to our favorites and will be making regular visit to try out more of their menu! Just so you know everything on the menu is local farm to table! We didn't have time to get pictures of our food because we were hungry and everything was sooooo good!"
"We had a really nice dinner at Gruene River Grill. Dining out on the patio with beautiful hill country weather provided a nice dining out experience in New Braunfels. The Jalapeño Crawfish Chowder was the best appetizer I have had in a while. The Country Fried Chicken was delicious. Great meal & nice patio dining. They were out of all the dark beer they listed on their current menu. Hopefully they restock soon or modify their offerings. The service was fantastic from being seated quickly, ordering and receiving our meal. Definitely coming back while the weather is perfect for outdoor patio dining in Texas."
"Its always a wonderful experience here from the service to the food and drinks. The times we have been there our servers are knowledgeable of the different plates offered and share their favorites with us. Looking forward to visit again during brunch!"
"Definitely a place to visit, food was delicious, chic decor, competitive prices, nice vibe and huge screens playing music videos that will keep entertain all night. Staff was a bit disorganized and could have ruin my night but overall was a great experience."
"Located in an old western mainstreet, The Wine Bar and The Grande Hotel are beautiful. We enjoyed the AYCE Sunday Brunch. Olivia delivered exceptional service. The food was delicious with ample portions made to order. We even tired upstairs to view a spectacular guestroom. Would love to return and stay here."
"The sauce is alright. Red tangy. Crust is great and crispy. Limoncello cake is refreshing while still rich. We went pretty early on a Sunday around opening. Only ones there. Parking not a problem. Cute interior. Looks like they have live music or a grand piano just for decor."
"My girlfriend found this place and saw that it had good reviews, so we decided to try it out. Once we arrived parking was a bit difficult to find (especially on a Wednesday), since it's in a small area. Once we arrived we were greeted and quickly seated. The atmosphere was nice and had a romantic bar vibe.Once seated we ordered drinks and an appetizer (the artichoke dip) and also ordered our main courses. I ordered the Breaded Chicken and my girlfriend ordered the Basil Chicken. Both came with soup or salad, which we both ordered the soup. One chicken tortilla soup and one soup of the day. Shortly after our waitress brought us rolls w/ butter which were nice, delicious, and warm.Later our appetizer arrived, which had a nice presentation but did not have any flavor at all. It was bland and the pita chips had to be eaten with it since they had saltiness to add with it. Once we received our main courses, we were excited (since the plates looked great). But after eating the food we both were disappointed. The pasta with the Breaded Chicken was very bland and the crust was sliding off the chicken. It was very difficult to eat. As for the Basil chicken plate, the kale was not tasty at all. It had a salty kick and then a bitter aftertaste. We had told our waitress and once she spoke to the manager she provided a 10% discount for the inconvenience.I'm sorry, but I give this place 3 stars. We left disappointed, and even with the discount it was still overpriced for the taste of the food."
"I have only been here once but it was a great experience. I did the wine tasting and it was very nice. I love their sweet red wine."

The onion rings at this place rock!! They bring out a huge plate! There were 3 people in our party and we had a hard time finishing them all! By the time we got our entrees, we could barely finish them. THis place has been around since I was a youngster (I'm nearing retirement - for perspective), in the same location, in the same "old house" building with wooden floors and old-timey memorabilia decorating hanging from the walls and ceiling. Someday when I'm back in San Antonio and feeling famished, I'd love to return and try more of their menu offerings. What a great place to hang out and enjoy their music, although it tends to be loud and seating is cramped but it's definitely worth visiting!!

WOWZIES... Whenever I come to a coastal place, I want to indulge in wonderful seafood. This place completely hit the spot, for a party of two. One seafood fan and one not. Good variety on the menu, and everything tasted so delicious. And our server was so pleasant and sweet, gave lots of good advice on good food. Highly suggest everybody to order the elote day French fries, and the tuna poke nachos, and to be honest everything we had.

This restaurant brings fine dining to Columbus, TX. The ambiance is upscale, with seating indoors and outdoors, with private seating upstairs. They have a full bar, and wine selections from France, Italy, and USA. Check out their menu. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, which had lots of gooey cheese on top. They brought corn chips for our gluten free diner. One of our party had pizza, the other had the short ribs, which were tender and delicious. For dessert, we tried the butterscotch custard, and loved it. They don't take reservations (at least not at the time of our visit), so you may have to wait a bit, but it's worth it.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary, the place is average, nothing special, the service when we arrived was super good, the waitress was very attentive and offered to help us with the menu since it was the first time we visited the place, but then her shift ended and she left us with another waiter who only saw him when the other waitress introduced him to us and then we didn't see him again we had to get up to ask for the bill and all the waiters were at the entrance talking and the diners were inattentive, a shame because the food is good

This is the Premier Restaurant in Fayetteville. The food is excellent and the service is way above par. The reason I don't give 5 stars is that they don't seem to consider that someone might be allergic to gluten. My husband loves to eat here. There is almost nothing I can eat! $60 buffet for Father's Day. Can't order from a menu - buffet only. Only 2 items on the buffet are gluten free. Two items for $60! The addition of a simple bowl of fruit would have given me three items, which is how many there were to eat last Father's Day buffet. I drowned my disappointment in Mimosas, but I'm incredulous that their only back-up plan for people with allergies is "too bad, so sad."

"Food is delicious. It's prepared in house. We liked it all. The service can be slow, but that seems to be the case with most small restaurants."
"Wife and I visited this establishment Sunday afternoon on April 7th 2024 nice and cozy establishment superb food really nice drinks friendly staff cleanliness with superb would highly recommend this establishment for family and or business Gathering and Anthony the bartender is very crafty mix and drinks ordered Mexican martinis absolutely delicious food was served hot in a very timely manner and exquisitely delicious"
"Amazing Neapolitan style pizza! We ordered a margherita and a Genova and both were amazingly fresh with the perfect puff and chew of a Neopolitan crust. The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly. It's a small dining room but they're doing something right. I highly recommend Odi's."
"Really great food! We ordered the CFC Biscuit Benedict and the food was amazing. 10/10. Our server Dakota was awesome, we loved the service. We liked how quite the place was even though it was pretty packed."
"Myron's is the perfect choice for any celebration, especially for a diner with Celiac. I recently enjoyed a fabulous birthday dinner because Myron's offers a number of gluten-free menu items. My New York Strip (aka Kansas City) was outstanding, perfectly cooked medium-rare. Our server Wes was nonpareil. He was knowledgeable about my GF dietary restrictions, and made recommendations on the best items to order. He had our best interests in mind and saw to it that our experience at Myron's was exemplary. The ambiance is quintessential steakhouse, a perfect setting for a fabulous evening."
"Wow what an experience! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted w/a warm smile from the entire staff. The ambiance is super cute and the service/server amazing!! I got the Chicken and Waffles (egg whites only) and my husband got the Hangover burrito. We both loved the food. Highly recommend asking for hot sauce on the side (its pretty spicy but so good)."
"We like this place. The quality can vary. For the most part it is very very good. We will return there. And we know we'll have fun there."
"Food was really great. We enjoyed every single thing we ordered. The service was ok, could be better but overall it was fine. Excited to come back and try other dishes."
"We came here with some friends and we ordered just about every appetizer on the menu and it did not disappoint. This place is just such a great spot to have a date night, meet up with friends or just go to have an awesome cocktail."
"I wanted a break from the fried food of Padre Island. WOW, this place is a diamond in the rough. Exquisite food and ingredients, good drinks, reasonable prices for fine dining-quality food. What a treat!"
"Meeting family from Houston we drove in from New Braunfels it was a perfect place to meet up. The food was very good. The staff worked well together from the front to the people in the back. This place had a nice vibe going."
"This is a wine and whiskey bar and restaurant where the food and service is very good. Live music in a smaller setting makes for perfect ambiance. Corn hole and indoor outdoor space is really nice being that tx weather is wild."
"For anyone that has been to Sonora, they know how good the food is. Palominos has great steaks and great service. Because it's new it seems they are still working out some of the kinks. The place looks very modern and they offer some very good Sonoran dishes."
"Customer service: Food: Drinks: Looks: "cute" as someone described itOverall: af"
"This was my first time going to Shore Cafe. The coffee is delicious and the ladies are so kind and definitely work their butt off. I went back a second day and it was as packed as the first. It's a Great spot to grab a quick simple bite, a delicious coffee or smoothie. They also have some sliced packages of pastries and cakes available at the counter and beer to go. Cute patio to relax on a nice day. Go check it out!"
"Great food. Good music. Lovely place supporting local artists and a great location to hang in a casual yet elevated atmosphere."
"First time here and thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The staff as a whole really seem to enjoy their work and treat customers with respect. The chips were crispy, salty and addictive. The cocktail was made with freshly squeezed juice and perfectly refreshing on a hot south Texas day. The salad was well balanced and delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection and served with an incredible mushroom sauce. Substituted the onion rings for potatoes that were rich and seasoned perfectly. The NY strip was a little fatty and tough on one end but the other end was on point. Great experience!"
"Italian food is universally loved, but unfortunately that has allowed too many purveyors of mediocre pasta and pizza to lower the bar for what gets to pass as Italian. When I find a place that reminds me why I like certain dishes, I feel the need to share; I was immediately smitten by what is happening at Il Forno. We ordered a pizza with shrimp and peppers as a starter for the table to share and it was the kind of pie that I rarely find. There was a debate about the marinara sauce (yes, my friends are also foodies). Was the slight sweetness caused by the peppers or is their basic sauce just less acidic than what most chefs use? That will be a topic for next time as we all loved it... There was even more chatter about the crust - not soggy, not burned, but perfectly cooked. It looked beautiful and tasted like a slice of heaven. For the main course, I ordered Capellini Positano, which has crab, olives, and mozzarella. The server asked if I would like to add another protein, which had not occurred to me, but why not, so I requested shrimp. The portion was big enough for two, but since I was visiting and there was no fridge in my hotel room, I ate it all (great food should never be wasted). We ordered a few desserts to share that included Tiramisu, Night of the Chocolate, and Pistachio Gelato. Even though tiramisu was my favorite (as it usually is), I ate quite a bit of the others as well. I'm happy to see that Il Forno is serving what great Italian food should be and I can't wait for my next visit."
"First time experiencing Friends on Walnut street w a coworker and the coffee is amazing and their fudge coffee brownies were delicious! Customer service was great! And overall the environment was super cute and friendly. Definitely recommend this place for any first timers and if I wasn't two hours away from this place, I'd be a regular customer. :))"
"I don't come here often. When we do, we know to expect a large check at the end. However, we've never left disappointed. The ambiance is calm and relaxing. The tables were somewhat cramped together. I came with a large group of friends. Our server was very attentive. He made sure I was content with my special unique cocktail order. I especially loved the pianist music softly playing in the background. Our food was great."
"Very well put together spot that does its predecessor justice. Great bagel sandwiches, and some tasty salads. The vibe is great and there is plenty of variety. Swing by."
"Service was very good. The owner stopped at our table a couple of times. Food was really good. We were lucky we were walk ins no reservation. A lot of tables were reserved. However they do have a nice seating area outside."
"The service was super amazing- little unexpected things made for a wow experience. The options for food and drink are huge! The taste of everything was spot on!"
