"I'm super impressed with how the new owners have revamped this place. I've visited this location on multiple occasions when it was Lil Woodrow's but I've never seen it as busy as I did today under the new management of Eddie's Tavern. They've added a load of new games (multiple pool tables, dart boards, a ping pong table) which has drawn a crowd in addition to their great indoor and outdoor tv set up for watching sports. The menu is the same as what it was when Lil Woodrow's existed but the portion sizes are smaller for the same price (which is the reason for the 4/5 stars). The service has also gotten way better under the new management, our waitress took really good care of our group and checked on us multiple times through our stay which was never the case under the old place. Glad to see a lively place like this in Corpus Christi!"

"New restaurant in La Vernia, TX. Since they just opened they are short staffed and wait time is long, please have patience. Placed an order to go over the phone and picked up about 40 minutes later. Parking lot was at capacity and people were starting to create their own parking spots. Inside there was a line but after talking with the people in line, it was a mixture of people picking up food, people wanting to get a table, and some trying to pay. It was very chaotic and unorganized Inside. Everyone is working as hard as they can and I appreciate their kindness. I ordered the chicken plate and the super papa. Everything was delicious and still hot by the time I got home. Portions are large so I have leftovers for tomorrow. The Super Papa was supposed to come with Carne asada but only had cheese and bacon. Double check your orders. Guacamole is pricey but very good. Love their green sauce and grilled onions. Will definitely be ordering more."

went to Stingrays to watch a game and eat dinner. plenty of tv's and seatinginside. we decide on a couple appetizers while waiting on pizza (menu states pizza takes 45-60 minutes)- chips w salsa and guacamole, bacon wrapped jalapenos w chicken. Both appetizers ok- normal bar food. Pizzas came out 70 minutes later- i really don't understand why it takes soooo long to get there pizzas out. not crowded and looks like they have a large pizza oven. In the end, notworth waiting on average/good pizzastaff friendly and helpful

Walking down the street, on any particular night, in downtown Corpus Christi is always interesting! We just so happened to stumble into Flanagan's Downtown after hearing their music from around the corner. Flanagan's offers a true "hole in the wall" vibe with superb service, an extensive selection of drink options and, on this particular night, a live DJ! We met with the owner, who was more than humble, and we had no idea he was an owner until leaving! We will DEFINITELY be returning soon. They've also opened another location on the South Side which has a much larger set up, beautiful patio, TURTLE RACES, and the friendliest staff you can come across! Thank you guys for everything! We can't wait to see you again!

10/1/23Excellent place to hang out and have yummy spicy bloody Mary's and great friendship. Cassie the bartender was a wonderful person assistant. Enjoyed the mac & cheese and grilled cheese sandwich. Definitely a place to stop at.

THIS IS THE SPOT!!!! Oh my gosh I love this place!!! I was visiting from out of town and looked up live music and found Brewsters!! I visited both locations over my trip and they both were so much fun and so cool!! The music was awesome, the drinks were cheap and good, and the food was yummy! Staff was super friendly and I really enjoyed my visits!!!!

Wonders bar and grill is a great place to go enjoy yourself And have a appetizer and a few drinks there bartenders are very nice and always come see if you need anything else they always ask how your doing very respectful, kind ,courteous. They have karaoke nights, pool tables, T.V. For the sports and a full bar and a very nice patio I recommend this bar & grill

Went on 11/9/24 to catch the Longhorn game. Great place to watch a game, service was good and drinks were great. Lots of activities for everyone to include table tennis, pool, darts, beer pong and corn hole. Plenty of TVs so every game was playing. I would definitely recommend going here to watch a game.

"They have different activities and specials everyday of the week. I had a club sandwich and added on a fried egg, my husband has the highway burger. Very, very good. PERFECT fried egg and high quality greens used but by sitting on the porch in the late evening and not drinking adult beverages, you risk being " neglected", no biggie. Service was a good speed. We opted to sit on the porch because it was jukebox night and too loud indoors. There are many large scale games ( giant Jenga/connect4) and some kids (kids by my definition 20's) were playing Cornhole in the parking lot. The only minuses they get are out of their control. The parking lot is small and riddled with pot holes and the porch area has a light sewage smell, NOT the fault of the restaurant. Excelle no t food , great late night hours."
