"I was on my way to Kroger to pick up my prescriptions when I saw Hana Japanese Chinese Cuisine by it. It is a very Quaint restaurant. Very small in size, but the portions are very large. I ordered the Mogolian Shrimp and Hunan Beef. Both were very good, and the shrimps were surprisingly large. I enjoyed both of my selections and will definitely return again. Ten stars."

"Chinese Buffet while visiting family in Corpus Christi?! Ok, let's go!The atmosphere is pretty great. As you walk in, there's a little coy pond with a water feature which is pretty relaxing and adds a little feng shui to the place. The service is pretty standard buffet. They kept drinks full, and were attentive enough to our needs. The food, I'd say, is just meh. We went at 11am right when they opened, and even then, it didn't seem fresh. Like the chicken was dried out, the fried foods were room temp at best, and the desserts tasted like they'd been left out... kind of mush and tasted off. Overall, for a cheap buffet experience, it's ok! But I wouldn't say this is a destination spot in CC."

Excellent! Full of flavor, fresh and thoughtful presentation. We ordered off the traditional menu and wanted to try everything, but settled on items we recognized. Next time we will be more adventurous as much to experience on the menu.

We used to go here a lot, but we moved and it's a much further drive down Highway 6 (or the highway to hell). On a whim, we went back and I had totally forgotten how good they are. I had the sushi and hubs had pepper steak. Everything was absolutely delicious. Well worth the extra drive. We'd been trying different sushi places in Sugar Land and nothing so far compares. I had the two roll lunch special with hot and sour soup. I just can't rave enough. It had been at least 4 years since we've been there. The server recognized us and hugged us glad to see us after so long. My rolls were fresh and good, well rolled and delicious. I would do it again today if I could. Believe me, it won't be so long between trips. We will be back again soon.

"I used to patronize this restaurant under the old owners. It was ok and it's main appeal was it was close to where I live. I stopped going be at the owner and staff were so hard to get along with. They were very inflexible and charged extra for everything. Yesterday compelled by its closeness I decided to go back. Plastered on the front wall was a sign announcing that the restaurant had new owners. What was night has become day! Everything that was wrong about the old ownership is right about the new ownership. The food was GREAT! I wanted some sweet and sour pork but it was not on the menu. The owner said "Oh no problem ; we will custom prepare it for you. We will add more meat but charge you regular rates. Believe me when I tell you, I was so impressed. The win me as a new regular customer. Go by and check them out. You will be glad you did."
"Glad to see nothing has changed...Still the best Pan Fried Dumplings on the planet. Still the best service and friendly employees. Tonight the General Beef as well as the General Chicken were excellent. It's a long drive to and from Port Aransas but worth the effort. We'll be back soon."
"Ok, so I've been here a couple of times and I'm finally able to review them. Price: Ever time I have been to the establishment I've gone for the lunch specials, so for me $9-$12 (including tip) wasn't a bad deal. Service: We always go in groups of 2-6 and they are very attentive, even when they are busy. They ask if you have questions, automatically refill our drinks, and ask if we need to-go boxes. No one has ever been rude to us. Appearance: Overall they look like a clean establishment. Lunch time is usually when a restaurant gets slammed but it's always been very tidy. Quality: The food isn't anything spectacular, but at the same time it isn't bad. Like if I had to pick between Panda Express and here, you'll like this place more. I've never had issues with my food being cold, so not sure what that's about. There was only one time that I had a beef plate and the meat was super chewy. Is this a must try? No. But like I said earlier fast food Asian or a little better quality? Well you make that choice. But there are definitely more genuine restaurants out there than Asian. So for that reason, I give them an average score of 3 stars just because it's nothing that I haven't tried elsewhere."
"Our Christmas Eve tradition is for the family to eat out for Chinese food much like the movie 'A Christmas Story'. And of course we have our go to place every year. This year was no different other than we are under COVID restraints of 25% occupants allowed. When we arrived at our 'go to place' we found it maxed out and a wait list of 2 hours. Needless to say, this wasn't going to work. So in a frantic search using Yelp, we found this diamond of a gem just a short drive away. I called ahead for seating and to or surprise they had room. When we arrived we found the eatery empty, however the deliveries were continuing non stop. The staff seated our party and promptly took our orders. Within 30 minutes of being seated, the food was served and hot. Everyone got exactly what they ordered with no complainants. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food served. The portions were plentiful and the wait staff were very accommodating. I would no doubt recommend this location the next time you are looking for fresh and plentiful portions at a reasonable price.The sweet and sour chicken, General Tsao and won ton soup was excellent."
"If you want a bunch of standard Chinese food this will do. It is not outstanding. It is a Chinese buffet. They do offer senior discounts at lunch Monday through Friday which worked for two of our party. Hibachi was fine, although interesting your sauce choices are "spicy or not spicy"."
"It smells delish the minute you walk in. they have two people manning the drive thru orders , it looked like a call center jajaja, means they r super busy. The girl behind the counter is most attentive. The egg drop and the hot and sour soups we're delish. Then comes the 5lbs of food in a styrofoam container. I understand now why the to go cont, it's sooo much food I got the low mein chicken , rice is perfectly flavored not overwhelming with fillers or foreign flavors, neither was the food all together. I hadn't had such delicious food since we went to San Francisco!! I will come again before heading home! Thanks for ruining my diet"
"We stopped by after a long day at Sea World and my sister in love recommended. The staff is slow, but super friendly. When your order is taken, they sit at the table next to you and look you eye to eye to make sure you know you are cared about. Food: Good! The flavor profiles were strong and the sizes were large. We tried a shrimp dish and it was loaded with shrimp, and my kid chomped away on rice, fried strips, and slurped up egg drop soup. The pricing was reasonable for two and a half of us eating."
