"We attended a neighborhood event that Big 6 catered. We're glad we went because Big 6 was very good and we got to meet a lot of our neighbors, very nice people. The brisket was very tender and oh so tasty, the sausage and the chicken drum stick was just as good, the beans and tater salad were very good. Now I need to visit their food trailer, they're bookmarked already."
"I've been coming to Schultze BBQ for over 20 years. This used to be my go to BBQ place because I love their sauce (a sweet Memphis style) and they are close to my parents house. However, I have become less enthusiastic about Schultze over the last few years. My first issue was that their quality and serving sizes had been dwindling but the last straw as the fact that they charged me extra to put BBQ on the side. I did not ask for extra, just that they put the sauce that would have been on the sandwich anyways in a small container in the to go bag so that my sandwich was not soggy when I got home. Goodbye Schultze, I'm going to Swinging doorSide note: the new buttered brioche buns are nice in theory but all I could taste was the bun. Smoked meat is normally a strong flavor but that bun overpowered the flavor of the meat and sauce."
"This was amazing! I'm a carnivore so I am usually not impressed with low flavor. This place had flavor at a new level. The place is really cute and soft and inviting. Perfect date night place. The whole building is very interesting and worth a tour."
"Meh. I definitely experienced better. This was sub par everything, except the fried okra. Flavor was off on the beans, mac and cheese bland af. BBQ bland and really not flavor full, more like oven baked, in my opinion. Sausage was so horrible sampling a couple of slices we threw the rest of the pound away, along with the beans and mac. I was so wanting to like this place, especially since there's a convenient drive-thru, but I pretty positive this place is on the no go back list."
"Nice unassuming Italian restaurant in Corpus Christi. Marco's does not look like much from the street, but dont miss out. If not for a friend of mine I would have not noticed this place. Macros is serving up made to order pasta, salads, soups, desserts and other Italian fare and it is GOOD. I recommend to pasta bar. You can choose from up to 12 items for your made to order pasta dish. The soups are delicious as well. The staff was friendly and helpful on explaining the menu orders. The atmosphere is nice as well. Definitely not what I expected from the outside but a very nice interior. Certainly a hidden jewel along staples road near downtown Corpus. Marco and catering is going thing right!"
"I love love love this place, everything we ordered was made with love and we can tell! The owner is amazing! Do not sleep on the grits they are the best I've had!! The shrimp was made to perfection not over cooked and the boudin balls were scrumptious and ever so tender my son fell in love with the wings and catfish paired with the red sauce. My husband was addicted to the catfish with dirty rice. And man that po boy was so soft and flaky #hurrybacknow"

Food is pretty good, I've only ordered through Uber eats and I never had a bad experience. I will go to them instead of the chain BBQ restaurants. I do recommend this place

It had been a very long time since we had visited Schulze. I ordered at the last minute lunch whick included 2 racks of ribs, quarts of potato salad, cole slaw, bbq beans, and desserts. I arrived at the time promised and my order was neatly packed and ready for me. The service was excellent. At home with food was oh, so good. Everything was delicious and the ribs were tender. The potato salad was very good, usually we are disappointed with the potato salad but not this time. We will be ordering from them again. I highly recommend Schulze.

Tastes like good southern home cooking. I got the fried chicken and it sure tasted like what my South Carolina grandmother used to make. Service was frequently by to check on us. We'll be back.

My wife and I went since the Mexican restaurant nearby was closed and we wanted something close by. I went to Brookstreet BBQ at their other location down Hwy 6 a few times growing up. I never remember it being great but it was passable BBQ that gets the job done. Today, it was passable again. I got the two meat platter of brisket and turkey. The fries were great, I had no problems with green beans, and the turkey was ok, but the brisket was very dry so I didn't eat much of that. My wife ordered a baked potato and she said the sauce tasted off and that the chopped meat was fatty/grisly or chewy like jerky. She barely ate what she had. Service was good so I might give them another try and order something different but I think I'd more likely go to other nearby bbq restaurants instead.

One of the best chef's in town. Try their tomato basil soup! It will make your knees week. Their pasta is amazing too. I've never been disappointed with Marco's! They have excellent prices, amazing food and are extremely professional! A++++

I don't know how Kyle got so lucky to have Chef Chenitha's food truck, but we are blessed! Everything I've eaten here is literally the best version of that dish. Fried catfish? Best ever, seasoned beautifully. Shrimp po-boy? Swoon-worthy. Gumbo? Think I experienced enlightenment. Around Thanksgiving, Chenitha offers meals of turkey and sides that will make you the holiday hero. She's also incredibly nice, as is her family. Support a small business and do your face a favor.

Amazing food, and such a broad array shown in the menu. This is my second time trying the food, the first was large office order and had samplings of almost all the appetizers, being that almost everything is made from scratch - down to the ketchup, sometimes they do run out of items. Everything was amazing, but today trying the Prime Rib sandwich, with sweet potato fries really helped me appreciate the food all the more.Cant wait to complete my tour of the menu.

River City Catering catered my wedding in April 2015. Alane and her team are absolutely fantastic. My husband and I had the chance to meet with Alane in person for our tasting and she is such a nice, genuine person. I would definitely recommend River City Catering for all of your catering needs. Alane gets back to you promptly throughout the process and the food was amazing - our guests commented several times on how delicious the food was.

"First off, freakin AWESOME taco! I ordered the arrachera, it was delicious, cheesy, goodness. Meat was cooked perfectly, and that sauce, man that was good. Yes, taco did cost $7. In my humble, honest opinion, maybe just a tad bit overpriced. Will that stop me from coming again, HECK no. The concept is literally like in he name, walk up to he house, order from a window, sir in their backyard and wait for your delicious food to be ready. You can tell food is cooked to order. Took just a few minutes, but again, DELISH! I did come on a 99 degree day, but with the shade, it was bearable, (I mean, I'm a Texas boy born and raised, I'm used to the heat). I can totally see the place jam packed in the fall and spring times. Keep up the great work guys. I will definitely return. You must try it out."
"We chose Trisha and River City Catering for our wedding immediately after our first meeting. Their menu selection rivaled every company we spoke to in Austin and their prices are fair, but Trish was what really sealed the deal. I needed to be able to trust our caterer to shoot me straight, and withing minutes of meeting Trisha we knew we could trust her to be honest and cool under pressure. I felt like we were her only clients, and that gave us so much confidence going into our big day. Trish truly worked to understand our vision and helped us create a plan that met all of our needs. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. We created stations that consisted of a grazing table with amazing meats and cheeses, sliders, Frito pies, mac and cheese, smores, and hot chocolate for our 300-guest wedding. Everything tasted delicious and the customer service was top-notch. I cannot express how perfect our wedding was because of Trisha and the RCC crew. Thank you for all of your hard work!"
"I am such a fan, 4.5 stars. The rib sandwiches are as good as it gets.In the parking lot of Wonder World Park, just off old Bishop. We got there Thursday a little after 4pm opening in a downpour so there wasn't a line. The day's special--written on a white board--was an alligator po boy and Mr R had never had alligator so that was easy. For myself I chose the soulful catfish bites from the menu at the window (he posts the week's menu on FB, although I didn't see sides mentioned). As sides I chose sweet potato fries and okra, for dessert the blueberry cobbler. One lemonade and one sweet tea.Lord, it was tasty. The gator po boy had a soft white sub roll, untoasted, with iceberg, pickles and tomatoes. The gator chunks were about 1.5 to 2x the size of chicken nuggets, with a perfect crunchy coating and not greasy. The meat was not dry, the flavor was good. The catfish bites were a little smaller than the gator chunks, and with the most perfectly seasoned, crisp, ungreasy, cornmeal coating. The fish was cooked perfectly and couldn't have been hotter/fresher out of the kitchen. The sweet potato fries were lightly salted, cooked expertly and came in a generous pile. The okra came in a light batter and tasted so fresh and green--Mr R fell in love with them (he'd only had okra boiled/wet before), but also blasphemed them with ketchup because he's a terrible person. Each plate came with ketchup, tartar sauce (more like mayo, really), and hot sauce. Two packets of each condiment for each plate which was more than we used. The cobbler. OH! The cobbler. He'd upsized it as a kindness for us, and I still don't know how exactly he made the sugary crunchy cobbler bits as half of them *still* had powerful crunch this morning after sitting overnight. The blueberry part was lovely jammy sticky but not over sweet. It was a wonderful dessert yesterday and a fabulous breakfast this morning. My single point of retraction? The now-moved-on LeStourgeon had the superior po boy set up (in my nascent opinion) with toasty bread and more produce to include romaine, onion and avocado plus a schmear of mayo. That's it, outside of that this meal was perfection. It's not cheap, the wait's never been excessive, it is WORTH it.Forgot to mention he also had a table/chairs set up under a tent which is a nice alternative to eating in your car if you can't wait to get home with good food."
"The fruit cups are so good very fresh fruit very nice small place where you can go and sit down and eat as well have lunch specials I ordered a cheeseburger that was very good highly recommend stopping here for fruit cup"
"That burger was awesome. Bacon cheese lettuce tomato pickles. Cooked perfectly. Good bun. And those chips..... This is good stuff. Doesn't hurt that it's onsite of a great brewery."
"Do you like Cajun food, cause I'm from south Louisiana and wendell's is it. Personally the gumbo is on point, and the poboys are fantastic. I have no complaints and will keep bringing people"
"The shrimp were huge 2 biters that were tender and sweet. Omg the fried rice was like nothing I've ever had before! It was all fantastic. I went during happy hour when you get two entrees for $25 making the price very reasonable. Definitely coming back."
