I am updating my prior spectacular review to reiterate that this is really an amazing gem with delicious and beautifully crafted food. How remarkable to find this in a storefront on South Street! Everything is cooked perfectly and truly a cut above the other many excellent Vietnamese restaurants. It is also such a sweet, comfortable atmosphere inside. And Corey is an attentive host, explains the food if you have any questions, and clearly takes great pride and satisfaction in taking care of his guests.

We ate here around 7:30pm on a Tuesday in the summer. It wasn't crowded but the space is on the smaller side. The food was delicious. The salt and pepper crusted tofu, which seemed to be a highlight from Yelp, was great. It was really well seasoned and crunchy yet soft. The buns were tasty as well. My main dish was really good. All the different components in the bowl each had their own texture and flavor to add. It came with a side of fish sauce which helped pull them all together.

Just had an awesome dinner here with my husband and toddler. I loved that it was not your typical Vietnamese restaurant that serves the same items as all others. Of course they still had the traditional foods as an option but their entrees are a definite step up.Restaurant was casual and welcoming. The owner goes above and beyond for his customers - answering questions and making sure my toddler was happy (plus points there).Would recommend and will definitely be returning to try more items on the menu.

What a hidden gem! This is now my favorite Vietnamese place in Philly. This restaurant is fairly new and so glad I found it. I was surprised to find that many authentic Vietnamese restaurants were closed by 6-7pm on a weekend. Disappointed, I looked for other options and found this new place that I didn't know existed. Based on all the amazing yelp reviews, we know we'd have to give it a try. The restaurant is labeled Vietnamese + French fusion but I think it's mainly leaning towards Vietnamese cuisines with a twist. We tried:- Crispy tofu appetizer 6/5 SO GOOD!- Crispy dumplings 4/5- Golden Bags 5/5- Duck curry 5/5- Vermicelli bowl. 4.5/5- Pho with ribeyes 5/5- Pork banh mi. 5/5- Beef banh mi 5/5- Cream brûlée with apricot sauce 5/5 - Vietnamese coffee flan 4/5All the dishes were delicious and the portions sizes are just right. I do think the vermicelli noodles were a bit too over cooked because it kept breaking apart. However, it was still delicious and the proteins were seasoned and cooked well. Ask for their homemade chili sauce - it pairs well with everything! While this place might not offer the best Vietnamese food I've had, everything tasted authentic and hits the spot. The owner, Corey, works at the establishment. He is very attentive and humorous! If you don't know what to get, he has great recommendations. We were debating which desserts to get and Corey surprised us with a challenge. I'm not going to go into details but it does involves karaoke and a prize. Now you have to come visit yourself to find out what it is! This was such a fun dining experience. The restaurant is fairly small in terms of seating. I don't think many people know about this place yet so it wasn't as busy when we were there on a Saturday night. Hurry and come try this place before it becomes super popular!!

Surefire hangover cure? Pho, and a glass of coconut juice.Corey's pho is fire[1], full of trimmings, with a soothing beef broth.Chef-owner Corey is a cool dude - he offered his homemade chili oil (!) to me, which pizazz'd my noodles. I've never had chili oil with pho; I think this is the beginning of a beautiful habit. This restaurant is the size of a breadbox[2], so call ahead before bringing your party of 8 there.Corey's Crafty Vietnamese Cuisine isn't affiliated with the Vietnamese restaurant next door. Corey told me he's working on offering French items at the restaurant, which I'm looking forward to! Hmm, maybe he's done it already? Either way, see you at Corey's!Credit accepted.[1] You know, good.[2] You know... small.

Now, being named Corey myself, I could be biased but let me tell you, this place was AWESOME! We got stuck in Philly due to airline trouble so were in the market for some comfort food. The fried tofu was INCREDIBLE! We've been looking for tofu like this in LA and it was better than any place we've found! The pho broth was complex and tasty! The service was personal and welcoming! We would come back and say hey to Corey next time we're in town! Highly recommend!!

Every bite here was a 10/10. Best Vietnamese food I've had in the city and I would honestly say this is easily one of the best restaurants in Philadelphia overall. Great service and ever better food, will definitely be back here regularly.

Absolutely amazing food! Even better service. If that is possible... with a great ambiance. I am one of those picky ppl who can pick a meal apart. However, I found this place to be amazing. My partner and our daughter also loved every bite. We are on vacation and have eaten many places on the East coast so far. This was easily the best food I have eaten since being here. I wished we lived closer. Not to mention, staff was so accommodating and kind to out toddler. We are so grateful!

The 5 Star review is well deserved! Food was exceptional! The owner and overall service was a treat, especially when asked about allergy restrictions, in that, they were knowledgeable about the ingredients. The only downfall - we live on the west coast and don't get to Philadelphia all that often. But when we do, this will be our first dinner stop.
