BRUNCH ON SUNDAYS!! I recently had brunch at Coquette, and while the food and ambiance were top-notch, the service was a mixed experience. AGM Demetric and Ryan provided exceptional service--attentive, professional, and truly made my visit enjoyable. Unfortunately, Julie was the outlier, displaying a rude and dismissive attitude that tainted an otherwise pleasant meal. The food is excellent, but the service is as crucial as the cuisine, and Julie's behavior is unacceptable. Management should take note. Would I return? Yes, but only if Demetric or Ryan are on duty.

Came for dinner on my last evening in Raleigh on a weekday and was seated right away (no reservation). Our server was helpful and accommodating to our requests which included a last minute drink change request. At the end of the meal, he even split our bill for us without us having to ask to do so.I ordered the coq au vin which was alright but I was more so impressed with the portion. I was quite full by the end.The place itself was cute and decorated like a brasserie - A nice mix of intimate and casual. If you're in the neighborhood and craving French, could be worth a try.

Not bad but not great. The place was half full on a Wednesday when we came; we were seated quickly and the service was fine enough, though the beers took a while. The food was average. We order a mussel and fries dinner as an appetizer to share; that was the best part of the meal. The sauce they came in was very good, and the fries were crisp. The French bread that came with dinner was underwhelming- nothing like a real baguette. I had the Beef Bourgonion- it was OK, but pretty salty and I thought it was kind of weird to be served with mashed potatoes, I think it would have gone better with noodles or rice.

so good! I came here for my sisters birthday lunch and it did not disappoint. We dined at about 1pm on a Monday and were one of very few diners at the time. For my meal I got the tuna Niçoise salad and it truly was one of the best salads I've had. Nice portion, good amount of salad "toppings" and dressing. My mom and sister both got the field greens salad with chicken and salmon. My only complaint is the size of the piece of salmon on my mom's salad- it was TINY TINY. As far as service- our server was very kind and made sure we had what we needed. The manager brought our food out accompanied by an apology for the time it took to come out (we all agreed we didn't think it took long:)) To end our meal our server brought out 3 little macarons with a candle in it as a complementary birthday treat for my sister. I will definitely be returning!

Dined here for brunch yesterday and the food and service was nothing short of amazing. The temperature of the place was the only issue we faced as maybe their air wasn't working? Many customers were fanning themselves so it wasn't just my party feeling it. We had the seafood crepe and the quiche du jour and both were delicious! The seafood crepe had fresh shrimp and scallops in a lobster bisque like sauce. The texture and freshness were spectacular and I'll definitely be back to order this dish again. The quiche of the day was a spinach, mushroom, and Gruyère quiche. It was executed beautifully with the silkiest softest egg portion and an expertly cooked crust. Our waiter was attentive and very personable. He mentioned their drinks of the day and I indulged in the iced coffee cocktail. He mentioned he makes suggestions for the new drinks so I assured him the iced coffee one should be on the menu! The amaretto cream on top was so good! I'll definitely be back for more food from this gem, and hopefully the AC issue will be fixed.

Came on Labor Day for a late lunch with my wife. Because it's in North Hills, there was plenty of parking nearby. We ordered the truffle frites, seafood crepe and the salmon as they were out of boeuf bourguignon. Ambiance: 5/5Service: 4.5/5Food: 5/5 Everything was really delicious. The complementary bread and butter was great. The fries were absolutely amazing! The salmon was perfectly cooked. And the seafood crepe was one of the best crepes I've had in a while with the seafood perfectly cooked and the rich sauce tying everything together.Price: 4.5/5 French restaurants are never cheap but the price was reasonable. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful restaurant. Welcoming and professional staff. The host didn't follow the seating request I made in my reservation. I connected with a waiter who I found to be extremely engaging before I was moved to a booth out of her area. I'm happy this was accommodated (after I asked).Food: The highlight was the fresh spring mix with the vinegarette dressing and my glass of sparkling rose. Loved it! I ordered the Omelet Lorraine but the omelet that came to my table did not have the meat in it, so I assumed they gave me a veggie omelet. The empathy on this mix-up was extremely delayed. The warm brie biscuit wasn't my style. Way too wet on the inside with a doughy texture I guess from the Brie. I'm not sure.Nothing here wowed me and I think I ordered pretty basic things that are very hard to mess up. Overall aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and a nice spot for catching up over brunch with good friends.

I had a good time at Coquette. The food , service n ambiance were good. I think the cocktail could be better . The steak a bit dry though. Among all the dishes I like the scallops.

***FOOD: brunch was ok. Quiche was dry and not enough ham and way too salty. Beef short rib was salty & too much gravy which made the entire dish mushy soggy. Love the salad that came with it. For this price point think it should have been stellar. I guess it's more for the ambience and location and a convenient place to meet friends for brunch. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$$***DÉCOR: French bistro, European restaurant decor***SERVICE: food took a very very long time. Server didn't really check on us. Had to ask for missing silverware & more water. ***RECOMMEND: meh maybe RECOMMEND if in the area or friends suggest get together again.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner here with a group of twenty adults and two children. The food was fantastic, and everyone enjoyed it. However, the service left much to be desired. We don't hold the server accountable--Zach was friendly and professional throughout. Instead, we blame whoever was responsible for staffing that night. This event had been planned weeks in advance, so they knew we were coming. Despite that, Zach was the only server handling our group. While others helped bring out the food, Zach was left to take all the drink and food orders and serve bread on his own. Some of the service issues we encountered (dinner service started at 5:45 pm) included:- Bread wasn't brought to the table until an hour into the dinner (around 7 pm). We had to ask Zach for it, and we assume he simply forgot due to being overworked.- We weren't asked how we wanted the lamb cooked, and because we were busy talking, we didn't think to specify ourselves.- The food took a long time to arrive, with the main dishes not coming out until 7:15 pm.We brought these concerns to the manager, Dimitrick, but unfortunately, the response was disappointing. While Zach remained polite and professional, Dimitrick was rude, passive-aggressive, and made snide remarks like, "Is this lamb to your perfection?" Rather than acknowledging the issues, he seemed irritated that we brought them up.To be clear, we were more than happy to pay the full amount and knew exactly what the dinner would cost. We were not trying to get a discount or free food. Our disappointment came from the long wait times and sitting around with little service for extended periods. Though Dimitrick did slightly reduce the bill, his attitude was far from helpful, especially given the ample time they had to prepare for a large group. We do apologize if we misinterpreted Dimitrick's attitude, but that's how it came across to us. He did step up and come out himself to help when he realized more service was needed, and we appreciate that effort. In summary, we loved the food and appreciate Zach's hard work, but the service experience, particularly with the management, could have been better.
