Great place to buy green (un-roasted) coffee beans. Large selection and friendly service. Although they sell to professional roasters and coffee shops, they also cater to the little guys like me who do it for fun (and attempt to save some money in the long run). As expected though, the larger your order is per pound, the more you'll save (I.e 50 lb bag is way cheaper than a 1 lb bag). It'll make sense to buy in bulk and find friends/family who would want to split with you to save money.Location is in the middle of nowhere, but it makes sense since it's mostly a warehouse with a small reception area. Although you can purchase online, I like to browse in person and try whatever sample(s) they are offering that day. The bags they sell in the reception area are just some of their offerings. Check out their website for a complete list. The receptionist was kindly able to grab a small bag of the beans from the warehouse that I requested. The roasted beans that they offer oddly have the expiration date rather than roast date. This is surprising to me because the roast date dramatically affect the quality of espressos. For espressos, I recommend sticking with green beans and roasting yourself. They offer tasting classes for a fee, but not all the time. Check out their website for available class dates.Receptionist was very nice, helpful, and friendly. She was still very new at her role and was learning about coffee and beans from the beginning. Best of luck to her caffeinated journey!

Transaction did not go well. It looks like one of their employees committed credit card fraud against me. They charged me one good charged. Then a day later there were two more charges, also from Copan Coffee, then a third charge in excess of $400 to a computer service I did not order. This process of small charges that go unnoticed followed by a larger charge is a way criminals test the water if they have a good card. Thankfully, my bank was on to the scheme and notified me of the string of bad charges originating from Copan Coffee in Tomball, TX. I guess it could happen anywhere. So watch out if you order from them.

The folks at Copan are really friendly and knowledgeable. We visited them a couple of months ago, and now I order from them online. They pack the different beans conveniently labeled. I am a small-time hobbyist roaster, and like the samples they package a pound at a time. I won't order from anyone else.

Dusty was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable about their products. He took the time to explain the origins of their beans, listen to my coffee preferences and recommend beans I may like! We will DEFINITELY be back!

FYI... for those who are picky about coffee, we tasted Copan Dark at Red Flame and liked it so much that we asked Julio what brand it was. He pointed us to a local distributor/roaster Copan in Tomball. They don't have a store, but you can buy it online for delivery or you can order by phone, pick it up and avoid the delivery cost. We buy whole beans and grind ourselves but they offer lots of choices. We got the Cafe Copan 16 oz. Dark roast. We like to support local businesses. We've been drinking Starbuck's French Roast from beans that we get at Costco. The Copan is an equivalent price, but the taste is amazing to us. Just an FYI. They even offer K-cups if you're into that.
