Copa's has been one of my favorite spots for over a decade now, 40th street location being the best, the staff is always super kind and happy, and are able to provide the best service every time. The environment and vibes are immaculate with both indoor and outdoor seating it gives you a home away from home experience. The food is always quite tasty and this was my first time trying the fajita and I will for sure try again!! I would recommend you go during happy hour to get the biggest bang for your buck.

Used to come here a lot before the pandemic, but this was our first time back in some years. Still a good go-to place for bar food and drinks. There is plenty of indoor seating, but we decided to do the outside seating since it was such a nice, summer Sunday night - they have a combination of regular outdoor/patio tables & chairs as well as a section that is more booth/picnic style tables on the street. The staff were pretty good at helping us get seated, checking in on us and our waitress gave a good recommendation for our wing flavor. We ordered the Wings with mambo sauce and Nachos for food, then Margaritas and Long Islands... We would go back again.

Great outdoor seating to enjoy the weather. Can't go wrong here if you get any of the margaritas. Great flavors, but I urge you to get top shelf!

Came here for the happy hour menu! There's $6 drinks available. My friend said the Copa Lemonade is pretty strong but does the job!! We got the chimichanga which was good. They give you one thick one that's crispy and the filling is yummy. I've had better chimichangas for sure but Copa has strong drinks if you're interested and overall is close to Clark Park and some other green spaces that can be cute to go afterwards!

Took a few minutes for a bartender to attend to us. But eh, they did. The kitchen was by our seats so all I could smell was a lot of seafood. Which was displeasing. The drinks were awesome. The appetizers were huge portions as well. The security at the door was very friendly. All the workers were on their toes and helping the guests, which I must applaud. The music was superb, it was a mixture of everything. Now it was freezing cold, I think it was because it was raining outside but that's cool. But hey, my wife seems to have enjoyed the food and drinks so that's a plus. The barber-tender kept her hanging though. She forgot all about her.

The wait was forever . I had to raise my hand a few times to get service. I ordered a burger and fries. The bun wasn't only too big but not fresh. It was stale. Places that take a tip don't value service . Never again.

I had the bubble bread and Spanish fries w/ cheese whiz. With every bite, I thought to myself, I could make these at home for way less. The bubble bread, while tasty, was simply toasted slices of baguette(?) w/ two kinds of cheese and garlic. The one redeeming quality from the entire experience was the serving size of the fries; it was a big boi basket. HOWEVER, if you're looking for crispy fries, this is not the place for you; they're practically limp d*ck w/ a few sautéed onions and a couple dozen jalapeño slices, and then the $1 extra for cheez whiz (which was a generous amount). If I were to make another suggestion, the ratio of jalapeño to onion should be more balanced.Service was slow, and the servers never seemed to be in any kind of rush. They were surprisingly busy for an early Sat afternoon, and they told us there was a 1 3/4 hour time limit...well, I'm fairly certain we reached that limit--and it wasn't because of us.Seating: we chose to be outside, but it was a mistake b/c the cheap tables are wobbly. The chairs were not comfortable either. We felt like sardines because of how close each party's chairs are from each other. If you're a masochist, this could be your place.Keep in mind they automatically add 18% gratuity and then provide a line on the receipt for an "additional" tipP.S. It's sad that the place has had so many walkouts that they now have a policy where they hold onto an ID from every party

I usually overlook this place because in the past, the service and food quality left much to be desired, but my mom is a fan. My recent happy hour visit made me reconsider my previous feelings. We ordered the Copa Pink Lemonade. The drinks were on point and timely. I ordered the steak fajitas, and they came with a little smoke show. They were pretty tasty. Only con, they were slightly chewy. Mom dukes ordered the fish and chips, which she loves. There are always ppl at the bar and seated for dinner. The general vibe gives me dive bar. I would recommend for a quick after work drink & bite if you're in a pinch.

Stopped at Copabanana for a quick dinner while dropping my son off at college. We were pleasantly surprised by the food! The bubble bread was not what I pictured in my mind but was some of the best garlic bread we have ever eaten. The bread was light, crisp and felt fresh baked! Just wonderful. All the food ordered was enjoyed immensely. For a local bar joint, we were beyond thrilled with the experience and the cost! Service was spot on too for a quiet weekend afternoon. I would definitely visit again on future trips to visit my son.
