Community Q is my go-to spot when I crave American BBQ for lunch. The portions are perfect for two people, making it a great place to share a meal.I particularly enjoyed the ribs, which were lightly covered in their signature BBQ sauce. The meat came off the bone really easily and was incredibly delicious. As my second choice of meat, I ordered the sliced brisket, which was also good, but I preferred the ribs a bit more. The fries weren't as crispy as I usually like, but they had a delightful homemade taste that I appreciated. I'm a huge fan of coleslaw with heavier or greasier foods, and the slaw here was decent. It wasn't my favorite since it had a bit too much celery for my liking, but overall, it was really good and complemented the meal well.Community Q BBQ definitely satisfies my BBQ cravings, and I look forward to my next visit!

Community BBQ vs City BBQ, a mile apart, and an easy decision. Community has Pulled Pork sandwich for $7.95 according to Yelp, but it's $9.95 on their menu board in the shop. But wait, tonight, a Saturday night, it was nothing because they were out of it (and out of beef brisket as well). So I headed over to City BBQ; they served me instantly with a delicious barbecue sandwich that was $7.77, tax included. You be the judge.

I heard a lot about this place so I had to check it out. I ordered ribs with collard greens and smoke sweet potato with kale. The ribs were ok, I was hoping for more flavor without adding bbq sauce. The collard was ok but a little under seasoned. The smoked sweet potato with kale was great! The service was great and the ambiance was cool. Nice little quaint spot. Overall, not a bad experience and I may come back in the future but try something different.

I've passed by this place quite a few times and finally decided to check it out. I ordered a classic pulled pork sandwich and fries, which is a staple for BBQ restaurants. It had a ton of pork, but the pork wasn't flavorful at all, which is weird because I smelled like smoke walking out of the place, but none of the smoke flavor was in the pork. We got a couple of different items and no one was really that impressed by anything. The fries were good and had a nice seasoning, but they weren't really that crispy. I honestly probably won't go back because there are a lot of BBQ restaurants around that I feel are a lot more flavorful.

Bbq here is delicious! I've had the ribs and brisket. They have a nice variety of meats and sides to choose from. Very casual location, no frills and you place your order at the counter before sitting down or you do the same to get your order to go. I also love that the food is consistent, truly no frills bbq

My husband and I came for lunch on a Wednesday around 11:30 am. We enjoyed Great food, friendly staff, and fast service! We have been dining and taking out here for over a decade and have always enjoyed their barbecue. I ordered the red neck chicken salad on lettuce and a side of Mac and cheese. Their Mac and cheese is so amazing, I always have to get it. My husband ordered the smoked sausage sandwich with a side of sweet potatoes with kale. The staff brought our food within 5 minutes and they checked on us, as well as cleared our table when we were done! We ordered at the counter so I was not expect this level of service. Come here for a fast lunch that fulfills your bbq fantasies!

I LOVE BBQ - I'm from the south, have eaten BBQ throughout my life, so I can honestly say that this place deserves a spot on Atlanta's BBQ map (I'm sure it already has one!). The pulled pork sandwich was so flavorful and generously smoked, the coleslaw... omg and the ribs - WOW - meat so tender it fell off the bone. Service was quick and very friendly. The indoor seating was easy and comfortable. Definitely check this place out if you have not or if you find yourself in the Emory area with a craving for some great BBQ!

This is my favorite barbecue restaurant in Atlanta. The meats are consistently well smoked and delicious, and the sides are all excellent. I made a meal of the sides tonight; a cup of Brunswick stew, pickled beets, black eyed peas and collard greens. The black eyed peas and collards are both really delicious. Usually I get a two meat combo, as I'm fond of the ribs and brisket. It's all good. Service is efficient and helpful, with questions answered at the counter. The space is comfy and homey, as all great bbq restaurants ought to be. The banana pudding is simple and classic.
