Disclaimer: I'm on a hunt for the best cafe to work from as I'm working remote. My review is based on factors for a good place to work from and not necessarily the coffee or food. Overall good cafe for coffee but not for workNoise level - 75 db busy crowded conversations (can't have a decent zoom meeting)Wifi speed - 62 down 32 up (too slow for videos imo)Power plugs - around 8 (must be next to a wall that has power, which limits your choices)Seats - 50 indoorsParking - free more than 10 lotsHaving said all that, the service was great and the barista was friendly. My delicious flat white came within 5 minutes.I didn't stay to work at the cafe because of the noisy and slow internet speed.

Just ate here for a mid afternoon snack. The inside is very cute, the aesthetics are lovely and hip, the aroma is wonderful and the pastries are beautiful to look at. I ordered the Crispy Smashed Potatoes - they were not what I would consider "crispy" but they were delicious. They are fingerling potatoes with sea salt, parsley and a side of baconaise that is to die for. They were served straight out of the oven so they were delicious. Just know - crispy is not what I got and it was a big reason I choice them. We also got the Steak and Onion Sandwich - it was also served delicious and the cheese was so melty. I am not a fan of ciabatta but it was delicious. One sandwich easily filled up the two of us. We took an apple blondie and an oatmeal cream pie to go. Both were absolutely delicious. We ate outside, and I will say it was busy. Lots of traffic, which was loud. There were multiple people that appeared to be panhandling and possibly high on something walking around. One person even came onto the patio and asked everyone for money. That was not ideal and the reason I cannot give the 5th star (also because of the crispy situation).Would I go back - to that restaurant NO, but I would go to another one in another location in a heartbeat. PS - the table next to us got the deviled eggs and they looked ideal! I will have to try those later on.

Stopped in on a random Thursday evening, right before they closed to grab a sweet treat. It was surprisingly very crowded with patrons dining in even though they were about to close. There was plenty of seating but it was a bit tight. We weren't dining in so we got in line and took in all the delicious treats they had in the glass case. I got a fruit tart and a hot green tea. My tab came up to almost $13 which was a bit expensive for a measly fruit tart but I guess. They do sell their scones, morning bun and I think the sticky bun for 50% off after 7 or 8pm.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and service was great! I really enjoyed my chicken banh mi salad. Love those hot red peppers on it! I asked for the vinaigrette on the side since it is quite sweet. Ambiance is busy and mellow.

Heard a lot about this place and it lives up to the hype! Everything was delicious, and the place was PACKED on a Saturday morning!Food 5/5: exceeded expectations, everything was fresh and properly seasoned, I didn't expect such delicious food from this small restaurant so I was pleasantly to surprisedService: this is first come first serve and you get a number for your table. It was very busy on a Saturday but tables free up fairly quick and they have outside seating too. One other thing to mention is they have a fairly small parking lot for how popular they are, but there is street parking too.Ambiance 5/5: this place was constantly full, testament to how popular they are. Decor was charmingCome hungry, eat good food, give this place a try!

The first thing Common Bond brings to my mind is macaroons! When I first came to US, this was where I tried them and have never stopped being a crazy fan of that dessert and the place. We were in early morning for breakfast. Got ourselves the Cortado, which was basically fancy South Indian filter coffee with a design on top and way less hot to suit the American palatte..... was proud ;)Another difference, it comes without sugar so you get to add as much as it suits u.Also got the Strawberry French Toast and the Avocado smash. We requested egg on the side. It was a simple toast but so fresh , really nice. My partner really enjoyed the egg on the side and the toast too. We sat at a table where the wintery morning sun was peeping just enough to give you that great morning feeling. There is pretty decent outside seating which obviously was not occupied that day. Service was quick and staff was pleasant. Got the turtle brownie as well, I believe it is the flourless kind. It looked exotic, tasted good and was so sweet that one bite could last u through the day, Ofcourse got some macaroons too, they were done even before we reached home...

Thought Common Bond's cakes would be on the expensive side, I was wrong. A six-inch Strawberry Champagne Cake was only 40 bucks, and it was delicious, and less sweet than expected! Very beautiful, yummy cake- love it! And i have to mention more one time that the pistachio croissants are really really good if you have never had one. Both of my girls are crazy about this "Grinch" croissant.

I would have like to try it. Except they don't accept cash - but they do have a cash tip jar. LolI gave a 3 star because their service was very welcoming and friendly.

Common Bond in Montrose isn't just any bakery; it's THE bakery of the town, boasting the best selection of treats around. It stands out among its locations as the only one offering the irresistible Nutella chocolate pastry, which, let me tell you, is a divine creation that looks like a cupcake but tastes like a dream. But the wonders don't stop there. The piping hot coffee, eggs benedict, croque madame, Amani pastry, and blueberry muffins are all out of this world. Each dish/pastry is crafted to perfection, making every visit a culinary adventure. The service staff adds to the experience with their incredible attention to detail and friendly demeanor, ensuring every visit is as pleasant as the food is delicious. However, there's a slight hiccup when it comes to weekend visits. The seating can get quite tight, especially for groups of three or more, making it a bit of a challenge to find enough tables and space on your table for the many things you want to order. It's a testament to the cafe's popularity, but something to keep in mind if you're planning a group brunch. And let's talk about my American Express card for a second - it definitely feels the impact of my Common Bond visits every single week lol.But when I think about the joy each bite brings, it's all worth it. Despite the battle for seating on weekends and the slight dent in my wallet, Common Bond in Montrose remains my top go-to spot for the best bakery delights in town. Whether it's for the unique Nutella pastry or the consistently excellent fare, Common Bond never fails to impress.

This review is for the Bakery; I ordered my sister's graduation cake from Common Bond, the manager was very thoughtful and helpful in assisting me with design selections! Pick up was easy and on time. The cake was packed very well and was easy to transport. My sister loved her cake and our guests were blown away by the beautiful space inspired design! The cake was many layers of chocolate and vanilla sponge w berry and pastry cream filling and flavors were fantastic! (Astronaut figurine was my addition). Thank you Common Bond!
