This spot is the one you want for an authentic bite to eat. It's convenient and easy to find, the menu relatively easy to navigate (they'll help you pronounce things if you're worried). A great option for a budget and wanted to try something new, or maybe you'd like to diverge from your same-old same-old routine. Take a stab at the Carnitas Torta and you won't be disappointed- the flavours pop. The name does remind you of being in a kitchen with warm, comfort and good food

Super authentic and delicious spot that opened up just 4 months ago. They have banana leaf tamales which are worth the drive! Their tacos are great and their salsas are unique. The nachos are huge as well! And the chips are super delicious and authentic. They have empanadas but I was less of a fan of those. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Fantastic food. Authentic, simple, delicious. This is our go to place and the best authentic Mexican food we have found in North Carolina.

The carnitas torta is one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had. The bread holds up to the filling but still melts in your mouth. The carnitas are moist and tender. The Al Pastor and Steak versions are just as good. Fries cost $2 extra but they are worth it; always crispy and cooked fresh. They have a toppings bar with pico de gallo, roasted onions and peppers, limes and an assortment of yummy (and spicy) sauces. The tacos are authentic with homemade tortillas. We have tried all varieties and they were great. We have also had the steak quesadilla which was solid. A good choice for kids for sure. The only downside is no beer or alcohol and you definitely want a cold one to wash down those roasted hot peppers!

No air conditioning get hot quickly. Came for menudo. Good flavor too much soup not hardly any tripe pigs feet and no hominy which I like.

Really good Mexican food with a polite and efficient staff. Everything we've had here was delicious and definitely closer to authentic Mexican cooking than you get with most places in this area. Not fancy, but clean and pleasant. A good food value.

I love this little spot. I've only been there once but from my experience it's really good. And the tacos are super fresh. I really recommend this spot.

Food not authentic Mexican . Portions small for the price you pay. Staff and service ok. They are not the friendliest and most outgoing . I ordered a chilli relleno and there was hardly any cheese in it and no egg batter. The poblano pepper was so tiny you could eat it in two bites. Wouldn't recommend . You're wasting your money .
