Cochino Taco

Happy Time is our favorite time at Cochino. Affordable and tasty. The staff is always welcoming. I crack up reading their t-shirts. They have one star reviews printed on the back and they are a hoot to read. My favorites are the tacos shaggy style. Two crunchy tacos that are then enveloped with a flour tortilla smeared with refried beans and served in a little taco truck. The Doritos nachos are a great shareable for the table piled with toppings. The green chili cheese tots are a winner and that plate is always scraped clean. Their salsa is tasty so we always get that and chips. Now on to drinks. They have three slushee machines going with margarita, Paloma and a rotator. If I don't get a Paloma I go for their coin margarita. Delish. They have a small parking lot but there is 2 hour street parking within the vicinity. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have misting machines for hot days.

Our favorite spot to grab good, decently priced food in Olde Town. Cochino is underrated for sure. I think because they're just a street off from the busier parts of Olde town, it's usually less packed here if restaurants in the heart of Olde town have long waits. They have a nice little patio with shade covers and misters for hot days. I like the chill, casual vibe here. The servers are always helpful. Their daily happy hour is so good and their coin margaritas are delicious! The seasoned chips are craveable (you do have to order and pay for chips and salsa here, not complimentary). I usually order the chicken tinga tacos (shaggy style is worth it!) and I also love the fish taco here too. It's a fun spot to watch sports games at too. Oh and Jesus walking on water in the bathroom mirror is pretty great.

Cochino Taco seems super underrated! I'm here, at the expense of attracting too many people to this location, to share our great and yummy experience at Cochino Taco because they deserve it.First off, they have happy hour every day from 11am-6pm, what a great deal. We sat out on the patio and ordered half happy hour, half regular menu. We started with the queso and wow it was tasty without feeling too heavy. The drinks were strong, but well balanced. We also tried a lot of tacos and they were all great - crunchy tacos, carne asada, al pastor, funky chicken and chicken tinga. The chicken tinga may have been the weakest one, but it was still acceptable.The servers were so friendly and attentive and I didn't check out the inside in detail, but the patio was fun and there seemed to be a lot of space inside.I already have plans to be back!With so many tex mex places in Olde Town, consider Cochino Taco for your next taco and margarita craving!

Best tacos in the Olde Towne Arvada area! Great selection, reasonably priced drinks, excellent margaritas, delicious salsa, and awesome tacos. Helpful service, and a fun, relaxed vibe. One of our go-to spots!

Excellent, affordable food with a friendly atmosphere! My family went to Cochino Taco in Arvada on Saturday afternoon. They have a small parking lot off of Ralston and a large, dog friendly patio and a full bar. They offer happy hour from 11am-6pm everyday, which is the best happy hour I've ever heard of! They have cheap snacks, tacos and drinks offered at that time, as well as, the regular menu items. We ordered the Doritos nachos with ground beef ($5.50), 2 soft chicken tacos for our daughter ($6), she loved that they came in their own taco truck holder! A draft beer ($4) and a frozen strawberry margarita ($7) off of the Happy Time menu. We also ordered an appetizer from the specials menu, poblano and Birria eggrolls ($12). And from the regular menu we ordered the poblano queso burger ($16) and the campechano taco (chorizo and carne asada, $4.75). We shared everything and it was all delicious! We loved the taco and the egg rolls the best! Our server was friendly and they brought the food out whenever it was ready which worked great for us because we were sharing everything. The restaurant is not large so, I could see how it could fill up easily and be busy. But, it was not crowded when we were there and the service was fast. We will definitely return for the happy hour and we want to try their brunch menu too!

Tried Cochino for the first time and really enjoyed everything from sitting at the bar, chatting with the bartender to the food we tried. Ordered off the happy hour menu- Queso added chorizo and the chicken tinga soft tacos. Queso was great, I bet it would even be good without the chorizo but it did add a nice flavor. I loved the spice added to the crispy thin chips! The chicken soft tacos were ok. The chicken had nice flavor but the corn tortilla was a little greasy. It was lightly fried but still soft. Will be back for sure!

Outstanding tacos. We had initially planned on hitting up the 303 ramen but this had our name on it and proved a mighty opponent. We had a bar tender that was also a server and host. He nailed every bit with the best service we have seen in years. It's very warm inside and the chairs are comfortable. modern decorations and not loud music.

The food is good and the service is incredible. The food can be greasy but that is what makes it amazing. The ambience is amazing you can sit outside of it is a nice day. If it is cold out you can sit inside or in there little inside outside room. The service is great people and friendly and dogs are allowed outside. The provided and menu for kids with a coloring picture on it and they give you markers. The food is so good and the tacos come in little taco trucks. I will be coming back to Cochino.

A large selection of tequilas and mescal awaited me. Superb margaritas, made the way I asked for it. Tacos are good. Fish Taco, was delicious, as was the carne asada -- I don't think you can go wrong with any of the tacos. All are very solid traditional well made tacos at a reasonable price. Quick service. Cool bartender. Well done.

Obviously a great spot for happy hour because it's like everyday and then families - kids menu! Food is not traditional Mexican or even typical street tacos. Flavors could be a little bit better. However get the tacos shaggy style to make up for it. They had beans and cheese on another tortilla. Makes them more filling! The avocado tostado was not my favorite. I found it overly salty and the tostado kind of soggy. The family friendly environment makes up for it along with the happy hour and great drinks! They have a small parking lot up front but spots fill up fast so don't be surprise if you have to find street parking. Also follow the time limit. Arvada is constantly checking cars now in Olde Town area.
