Great little spot, had a few drinks and a couple of wings. The hostess was friendly and courteous. The wings were good, not great - but not bad; I'm still coming back though!

I love it here. They're staff is amazing and very attentive like family. Drinks and vibes are always a go!

Funny story short. I was headed somewhere else, didn't feel like driving all the way there, 3 cars deep, no one could make a solid decision on what the next move was, 3 parking spots opened up at once as we were passing the place. Here we are; Elevate Lounge and Cigar Bar. A small, chilled, neighborhood, "Old People" spot. Lol it's okay to party with the old people sometimes, this experience was a nice one. In the neighborhood old people spots when we walk in, the eyes always go towards us because the obvious difference in age my crowd tends to bring to the atmosphere, I have never known this to be a bad thing, after about 5 mins in the old people usually welcome us in and the drinks and jokes begin to flow more rapidly. The bartenders aren't the young, sexy, energetic faces that we're used to, but they are patient, eager to help, and knowledgeable when it comes to getting you what you need. In this neighborhood spot, they sometimes have free food cooked and set up inside for everyone who's in the building having a good time. I love to crash the old people party, and it's always nice to be in the company of wisdom.

Yep, say what you want to say, but I'm giving 5 stars to this establishment in the "Tre". There are so many things to love about Third Ward-Houston. Although I grew up in the southern part of the Houston-Metro area, I'm no stranger to this area as I had relatives that used to live in 3rd ward that we would visit and/or we often fellowshipped with several neighboring churches. I'm proud to say that I love "mostly" everything about my black heritage and Third Ward keeps the history alive. Yes, this is what some would call the hood; but don't get it twisted, you can and will run into people of all races and professions here. You will see men in suits & ties and the more relaxed dressed people. It's pretty much a mature crowd of 30ish & up so leave the childishness at home. It's a real feel good spot. The bartenders are very friendly and pour up some strong drinks that will have you feeling good. I'm a witness because this past Friday (6/10/16), I talked to almost everyone in the place and even thought I was Chaka Khan and did a line or two when the singer passed the mic my way. Knowing that I'm not much of a singer, the drinks had me feeling good and everyone gave me love. Lol! I'm definitely a fan of the live music Friday's. Another thing I love about Status is that the restrooms are really clean!! One thing I dislike is a nasty restroom that's not well-kept, especially after you've been drinking and will more than likely have to go several times. No wet floors and paper all over the floors here.As Tashi L. stated, the music is always on point with a blend of old-school jams and new-school hip-hip so everyone should get their fix and leave happy and feeling good. I'm a fan!!

I use to love to stop by this location the bartender's where nice friendly and courteous. The place kind of put you I. Frame of mind Ike "Cheers" .... A place where grown ups can go mingle and they know your name or face. Lately the atmosphere has changed and some of the regular bartenders are not there anymore. Be glad when business starts to pick up again.

Cool spot to come, grab a drink and listen to good music. I appreciate the hospitality and getting the Arnold Palmer. No food so come after dinner.

This little spot has been a number of things over the last decade. I recall when my grandmother used to run these streets and party all night.t I believe this is the first time I've even ventured into this building and all I can say is that it is relatively small. I'm not a lounge/bar hopper, so when I think of a lounge my thoughts go to the Belvedere-ish type of places. Nothing against this establishment, at all. I believe it serves its purpose and it's surroundings quite well, seeing as though there was a good little crowd inside and out (on the small patio).I was here to watch an old friend perform with his band and I was there less than an hour. I didn't venture much farther than the area by the door, so I can't give a hearty review. I'll be back if my pal becomes a regular performer there and I'll add more meat to this review.

My firsttime in what they called a hole in the wall and I really enjoyed myself. The bartenders are a hoot, the food is off the chain and so is the music. I felt secure inside and out, the other patrons are nice too. I will be back!

I've been coming here off and own since opened the doors .... Popped back in on Sunday 3/5/23 been years ..as I wanted somewhere not too busy at 5/6pm ..... very low key but has the patio front and back I was looking for. Great pour on the drinks things pick up on Sunday about 9pm as they prepare for live music which I love. The salmon and veggies meal was absolutely delicious and fulfilling for the price friend had the smoke wings equally delicious.!! Spent 150$ in there over 3 hours was worth it ! Only thing I'd like to see eventually would be to see some high cocktail tables at the front patio close to the gate so patrons can see over the gate (without having to stand ) and ppl can see the patrons to attract more patrons . The parking lot once crowded can be a hassle so next time will park along the side instead of the back, got blocked in and that's wasn't fun but quickly resolved . I will definitely be back when I need that Sunday late afternoon fix and some jazz !! Check them out on social media for the live music nights nice atmosphere all around!!

Great atmosphere and Great service the food is excellent an excellent bar for r&b and jazz grown up spot for sure!
