Our first time to the Clouds Brewing Taproom. I liked the space -- big and open. Looked like outdoor space as well though it was enclosed in a big clear tent, either for cold or rain or both. I ordered their Sucker Punch sour which I always enjoy. The place was very crowded for a Christmas event going on but the bartender was efficient and asked people to step down the bar after they ordered and paid to keep things moving. For my second drink I decided to go with one of the Flat Rock ciders in the cooler. I love Flat Rock and had never tried the Key Lime Cider which was listed on the menu but I didn't see it in the cooler. I asked the bartender and he said there was one left and went to retrieve it. As he poured it he said he was saving it for himself but it was mine now. It was so good -- glad I got to try it. Bartender gets 5 stars in my eyes!

You'd never know this place is here unless you're looking for it as it's tucked away in a business park area behind the shopping center that houses Trader Joe's off Wake Forest. Feel safe and secure as Raleigh PD's Special Operations unit is next to it and there are police cars everywhere. This was my second time here and it's never been busy. On Sundays they offer a yoga class before the brewery opens at 2 pm. There's a fair amount of space inside the building with tables and games spread out. Outside there are more picnic tables and they have a little play set for small children, plus a large size Connect 4 and corn hole. I ordered a flight with 5 tasters. It's a quiet spot to hang out and the employees are nice, but the beer is nothing spectacular.

Went here for Marchtoberfest. German dancers and musicians. Fun atmosphere under a tent with plenty of tables and chairs. Was surprised how packed they were. They had only 3 beers on tap outside but you could also go inside for more options. Funny that the Police station is right next to brewery. Kept my drinking to a minimum as I was designated driver. There was a food truck outside but we didn't have any food.

This brewery is tucked away so you need to know where to go. It is worth the find. Plenty of parking, and tables inside and outside. The staff are great. We typically grab some Take Out from Wegman's then head here since it is behind the store. Note this is the taproom and not the restaurant. They sometimes have a food truck or just grab and bring in like we do. The place is popular at at times with families, and when weather keeps everyone inside, if the kids are playing and screaming it can be distracting (if you don't have kids of your own.)

Great beer and a nice industrial, open space. They allow pets which is super sweet. Live music nights is also very cool.

This place was made for people with kids or dogs who also love great beer. Lots of room, lots of games (top shot, vintage video games, etc) and great snack options for when you end up staying longer than planned. I tried a sampler of 6 different beers and couldn't find one I didn't enjoy! Indoor and outdoor seating so a great place to check out. Snag a pizza or other takeout and bring it with you to enjoy with their spot on beers!

Too many kids, I did not enjoy sipping my beer and getting rammed with a tricycle. I really liked the beer so that was unfortunate. I've been to the restaurant several times so it was cool to finally check out the brewery. It was also too hot, the cooling fans did not cool it enough so that was also a bummer.

I love this place! We had my 40th birthday party at Clouds Taproom and it was a blast. The beer is delicious and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. It was the easiest venue that I have ever experienced to have a party. Plenty of parking for guests and lots of room inside. It's a fun vibe/atmosphere, so we didn't even have to decorate for the party. I will definitely throw another party here in the future. :)

Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by about 30 wild kids running around, screaming and playing. The brewery smelled a little off as well. After realizing they were hosting a child's birthday party, we promptly turned around and left. There was no space free of kids or any personal or quiet space. I appreciate that they can be kid friendly, for well behaved kids, but to host a child's birthday party is a little too much at a place that is designated as a brewery and has a 21+ clientele where they are all running around while people are trying to enjoy a beer. Unfortunately I was not able to try any of the beers to review.
