I could have sworn I had reviewed this place. I use to come here a lot of Bayern Munich games. Finally decided to come back. The staff here has always been great. We ordered their cheese curds and some Paulaner Hefeweizen. They do unfortunately serve it it cans. While draft is always the best option, I would have preferred a bottle over a can. Still tasty though. Regardless of what team you follow, Cleos is definitely one of the best soccer bars in the city and it's definitely worth a visit for any soccer fan. Mia San Mia.

Cleo's is Chicago's premier soccer bar. I came here to watch the champions league final and the atmosphere was electric. The beers are pretty reasonably priced and the food is good too. Be sure to get there early for any big games though because they do have a capacity limit.

My mistake may have been coming at a non-happy hour, on a positive note is they serve food until 3am. I however went for some wings and beer at 9. It was a good experience overall, the staff were friendly and attentive. The vibes were relaxed with soccer on most of the TVs, Soap operas were on the others. My big gripe is that I paid nearly seventy dollars for twelve halfwings and three beers. I'm a simple man but damn, that's a racket. It would be below a three if the wings weren't crispy how I like them, not a lot of meat though.

Here I am, back with another update on Cleo's Bar & Grill, and guess what? The streak of satisfaction continues! Cleo's has yet to disappoint me, and that's saying something because, let's be honest, I love to complain (just for the fun of it). This time, I visited on a Thursday night, driven by an undeniable craving for the best Caesar dressing in the city - Cleo's never fails to deliver.Okay, I might be getting carried away with my obsession with their Caesar dressing, but seriously, it's a game-changer, especially when paired with their Caesar salad. I can't quite put my finger on whether it's homemade, but who cares when it hits the spot every single time? My advice: definitely make sure to order their Caesar salad; you won't regret it.Now, let's talk about the other staples that keep me coming back. I always go for their chili, and this time, I went all out with extra, I mean EXTRA, onions and a side of avocado. I stand by my belief that chili is a year-round delight, and at Cleo's, it has become a non-negotiable part of my meal. Consistency is key, and Cleo's nails it every single time.On this visit, we decided to mix things up and ordered the shrimp Caesar salad and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was nothing short of fantastic, with just the right combination of flavors. And, of course, being a bunch of rebels, we couldn't resist taking shots of Malort and Rumple Minze - because why not? Now, onto the newest addition that took me by surprise - Cleo's Bar & Grill recently underwent a fabulous update to their bathrooms. Cleanliness is next to godliness, and Cleo's has taken this saying to heart. The updated bathrooms are impeccably clean, reflecting the bar's commitment to maintaining a top-notch environment for its patrons. So, there you have it - not only does Cleo's excel in serving up delectable dishes and delightful drinks, but they've also invested in enhancing the overall atmosphere with stylish and clean facilities, making it an even more enjoyable place to unwind. Cheers to Cleo's for keeping things fresh and fabulous!

Fun place to watch soccer games at their outdoor patio. The food was good. The waitress was pretty rude but maybe she was stressed with the amount of tables she had. Overall good experience.

I'm new to Chicago and recently learned that this is Chicago's spot for Bayern Munich supporters. This was my first time joining the crew to watch a Bayern match, and I had a great time! The Bayern supporters were grouped in the back room and most of the customers in the front of the house were watching an English Premiere League match. Two games at the same time made for a lively environment in a chill atmosphere. I ordered a hazy IPA for $7 and a massive platter of nachos with ground beef for $13. The beer was tasty and the nachos were surprisingly good. Others around me seemed to enjoy the shrimp tacos (as a bowl), and I think I might try that next time. Kevin was a very friendly server and definitely made me feel like we're all welcome. Cleo's is a great spot to watch a game and hang out with friends over some good drinks and pub grub. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Adding a couple stars since my last review mainly for service. We sat at the bar and chatted briefly with a really cool bartender. Wings came out piping hot and the fries were fresh too. Standard bar food, but sometimes that's all I'm looking for.I have a man vs self conflict with my next statement. I've gone back and forth in my head on whether it's a reasonable critique. Read and let me know. So. ..I ordered an Old Fashioned. It was easily the worst I've had. I know. ..I know. ..this is a dive bar, but an Old Fashioned is literally the first cocktail you learn to make as a bartender. Maybe I'm being too hard. Either way I didn't let it impact my review.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.Today I debated going to Cleo's. A soccer bar I have frequented for years, but after a few too many bad experiences I'm never going back. Today was just what I needed to make up my mind.Once a while back the bartender never showed up for a 9am kickoff match, and I was left on the sidewalk waiting for answers and for the door unlock for a half hour. Then I was told what happened and headed home. Okay, I get it. Shit happens.A few times we've had some disrespectful staff and today I had the worst service I've had anywhere in years.Waiter was rude off the bat when I asked for pricing of items not on their QR code menu, and later put his hands on me to move me away from their service station. Mind you, they put their self serve water station RIGHT NEXT TO IT. I point at the water station and he finally apologizes. Did I mention later he accidentally poured an extra Guinness for us? Then charged us for 6 when we only ordered 3?I've been in the industry for 7 years and I have never laid my hand on a customer and attempt to move them and I have never seen blatant lack of attention to detail. Thank you for the memories, and goodbye. Best of luck

One of the few soccer-centric bars in the area to watch a game in the city. Sunday morning, was able to grab a table towards the back where they have four tv's playing matches from the Premiere League.Since we already had breakfast at a different establishment, was only going to have drinks. Beer list is superb as they have several local items on both draft and can. Was able to get a pour of the Half Acre Daisy Cutter ($6.50 draft) and a Three Floyds Zombie Dust ($7 can). Our waitress was efficient as she was able to handle the tables without any problem. Also, despite the rowdy soccer crowd, the bar was able to keep everyone socially distant, as they made good use of their backyard as well. Seems like this spot has some great specials as well for each day of the week, so a good spot even if there aren't any matches happening.
