Cleopatra's Cigar and Cognac Lounge

Excellence is the only way to describe this cigar lounge. Great vibe. Great food. Defintely a hidden jewel. Very spacious, clean and comforting.

This place is Black owned. It's classy with a relaxed vibe. My fiancé ordered drinks which was great. The place is a vibe for anyone who smokes cigars. The place was a bite too Smokey for me. I sat outside. I definitely recommend this place. They have a nice eatery next door.

This place was recommended by one of my close friends. I finally got a chance to visit last night. They are located in a strip center down in Richmond. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. I didn't expect it to be as large or as completely different than most cigar bars I visited. When I entered I heard DJ music and there were sofa seatings as well as many tables around the wall. There is a large bar directly in front of you and a large humidor with a large selection of cigars in the rear. I sat at the bar and was handed a laminated drink menu that encompassed a full page front and back. It was like I was in the club. Very turnt up! There were several TVs around the room. This was a great experience! There are drink and Happy hours specials. I will definitely return. If you are in the Richmond/Katy are it's a must visit.

Let me tell y'all what happened to me the other evening. It started off because I had to work on a Sunday to help compensate for the upcoming holidays/folly days. When I got off work I did a quick search at a stop light while waiting to go back to hotel. With the quickness google maps ( I was using for directions to the hotel ) show me approximately eight cigar lounges so I picked the closest. The cigar lounge was called Cleopatra's. I glanced at some photos. Then I quickly change my left signal to a right and I was on my way.Upon parking I immediately noticed that there was outdoor seating with at least two big flatscreen TVs in the overhead also. But when I went inside and looked around I noticed quality seating and spaced out nicely. The room wasn't too smoky for the crowd size so I knew the ventilation system was of good quality ( not loud or noisy fan ). I could hear myself think and ceilings wasn't yellow with nicotine. Their sound system sounded very good for a lounge. There were seven or so females members doing the classic line dancing ( old school hip-hop dance music ) being led by staff :) just having a good wholesome time. Some people were watching football too. I think amongst all the indoor TVs they're must have at least three different football games being watched. I walked into the humidor to view their inventory, and pick out a good cigar/stick. I must've been in there for at least three minutes before the manager/owner walked in to greet me. After some small talk, he offer up some suggestions on a few of the popular picks with taste and different strength. I asked if he had any Black Owned brands??? he pointed out those brands and a few that are owned by some popular celebrities also. But in the end I asked him what was his personal favorite that was under the current inventory and he pointed out his number one and number two cigars pick that he likes to smoke so I put down the two that I had already picked and grabbed his one cigar and proceeded to the bar. ( later that evening I did go back and picked up the the #2 choice / second stick ).Johnny Walker blue was my drink of choice all evening till they closed. Lol the atmosphere was very friendly every member/customer was very cordial and polite. You can order food which came from next-door. You can sit at the bar or one of the group tables I personally just had a good time , the staff checked on me from time to time and so did the owner. I really enjoyed myself ( wearing work clothes attire ) and I was only coming to relieve a little bit of stress, but they made me feel like I was amongst old friends and that really stood out for me... that's why I wanted to share this with y'all in case you're ever in the area.I will return if I have the opportunity :)

Cool ambiance, mature crowd, love the restaurant next door. Not the largest, premium selections but great cigars. One of the bartenders was truly genuine and amazing, one of the younger bartenders sort of pushed me to never return! Great place overall if you plan to be a regular

Ambiance is grown and sexy.. attentive service and knowledgeable staff. Lots of unique cigars here. Loved it!
