The food here is unreal. We go here for breakfast as a family a few times a month and it never disappoints. Just expect to be a bit cramped, which is the only downside. That said, the food more than makes up for it. Every time we have people visiting, we go here and it's always a fan favorite. Staff is always pleasant and attentive.

A great spot in Malvern. Went here on a Monday morning, it was pretty busy. Staff was friendly and service was quick. It's definitely a little cozy/tight in there (you will be sitting right next to other diners). Their menu is mostly a build your breakfast/a la carte type menu meaning you pick your base and everything else you add on is an additional cost. I had a pretty standard breakfast which was great. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend checking them out.

*Indoor dining review*I've heard about "The Classic Diner" for quite awhile now, finally got a chance to try it. For the most part, everything's really good apart from couple minor issues.Restaurant: 4/5Service: 3/5Food: 4/5Parking: Free parking lot (Limited Parking)~Restaurant~Restaurant itself looked small from the outside, but they have good seating arrangement, you don't feel cramped once you're sitting down inside. Alternatively they have couple tables outdoor (covered) for anyone that wants to nice weather outside. I would also suggest going early, so the wait isn't too long. We went around 9:30AM and were seated right away.~Service~Staff are friendly and somewhat attentive.~Food~All the food we ordered are pretty good. What we ordered: -Omelette with avocado, salsa, sun dried tomatoes and pepper jack cheese. (Eggs and most of the fillings are cooked nicely and very flavorful, bread is nicely toasted and buttered. But the cheese was not melted properly, so it turns into just a glob of cheese, I would most likely skip on the cheese next time. The potatoes are slightly overcooked, a bit tough. -Bacon (Can't go wrong with bacon, cooked nicely) -Belgian waffle with Berries. (It is good, apart from Waffle is a little dense) -Belgian waffle with Banana and Walnut. (Same story. After having some delicious light and fluffy Belgian waffles from another breakfast/brunch restaurant, I think we were expecting the same)In conclusion, I would go again, since the food is pretty good for the most part, service is good. Although I might modify my order a bit next time around.

Stopped by for Sunday breakfast and had a good experience overall. The parking lot is small, but cars turned over fairly regularly. We probably waited about 5 min before we were able to get a spot around 10:30 on a Sunday morning. We subsequently waited another 30 min for a table for 4 --- they have a very small indoor space that serves as the entryway and the space for waiting, so we opted to sit in the car since it was a bit chilly outside.Their menu includes all of the classic breakfast options (egg platters, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches) with a "create your own" kind of vibe, though I think having a few featured combinations would have been nice to avoid overthinking and the countless upcharges for each added ingredient. I opted for an omelette with a mix of veggies and cheddar, which was stuffed with a large amount of veggies and served with a reasonable portion of well-seasoned breakfast potatoes. My accompanying multigrain toast was a little cold and not particularly well-buttered, so I didn't bother to finish this. Overall, a solid dish. Others at the table tried the smoked salmon scramble (had more salmon than egg if that's your thing!) and the breakfast sandwiches. The roasted pepper and pesto breakfast sandwich was more of an open-faced toast, but it was a large portion and looked delicious. We shared an order of the brioche French toast, which came with a delicious cinnamon butter --- the perfect sweet treat to round out the meal.Definitely a good, no-frills breakfast option.

We tried out the classic diner yesterday for brunch/lunch before leaving Malvern - ordered chicken tenders, crab cake sandwich, and a tuna melt. I was eyeing one of the ahi tuna sandwiches (the BLT sounded great) but opted for the crab cake instead. We got everything to-go, but our hotel was very close and we ate everything almost immediately. Tuna melt is the winner here and really pulls the weight for the review - best I've ever had. Tuna salad was fresh tasting and a little on the dry side (without tons if mayo, but that's how I prefer it) and was SMOTHERED in melty, cheesy goodness and topped with tomatoes. Open faced, and one side of the sandwich is enough for one person. I'm going to dream about this tuna melt and need to find one close to me in Western PA. Crab cake was big, but overall a little disappointing. It was very soft and the crab was very finely ground. On the sandwich, it just kinda tasted like you were eating mush. The sauce was delicious though. For almost $19 for the sandwich, I was left wanting more. Tenders were ok- they're homemade and panko crusted and fried which was the draw for me. They were a little dry but good. I subbed ranch instead of bbq and wasn't a big fan of the ranch- it was fluffy and seemed to be very heavy on the sour cream but light on the seasoning. Staff was very friendly and food was done quick despite the restaurant being busy at lunch time. Would go back for the tuna melt in a heartbeat next time i'm in Malvern, but I'll be skipping the crab cake and tenders.

Adorable little diner with incredible food and quick service! I brought my mom here for Mother's Day (without a reservation). It was obviously packed, but we had the option to wait only 10 minutes for a table, or go sit at the little bar immediately, so we did that. Our waitress was very sweet, and the food came out super quick, and both the coffee and the food was amaaaazing. And to my surprise, for the both of us, was $35! I highly recommend trying this place out!

Classic, but upscale, breakfast. I substituted Canadian bacon for pork roll which resulted in a perfect Eggs Benedict. A crowded restaurant space which is just fine by me.

11/24/22 Review of Catered Thanksgiving OnlyWe decided to have Thanksgiving cooked for us. Last years debacle- Founding Farmers - I heard was horrendous, expensive and the food was awful- the turkey was tough and chewy from that restaurant. Classic Diner from what I know has catered meals at my company, they've done weddings and many events. This company came highly recommended to my mom from a friend. Classic Diner did not disappoint!!My mom picked up this massive meal from the warehouse in West Chester. The employees helped her load the car as well which was very much appreciated.I would recommend heating the food much longer than the directions say- especially if you order the 20 person meal. The turkey was carved, succulent and delicious, presented nicely browned with rosemary, cranberries and citrus. We ordered the cinnamon sweet potatoes that were so delicious and tasted great with nutmeg infused into the recipe. There may have been walnuts in those- great texture and taste! We ordered delicious whipped potatoes, the green beans with pearl onions (Al dente), the herbed stuffing was really splendid too and my dad's favorite part- the gravy was rich and delicious. I would highly recommend this as an option if you aren't up for cooking the whole Thanksgiving meal! No yucky carcass to pick through and leftovers galore!Excellent and high quality food! Don't hesitate but get your order in early.

This used to be a favorite, but after visiting this August, we were by far disgusted at the amount of filth. This place was so dirty, from the floors to the walls, the trim was rotting, and I would have never put my child in their high chair. Oh and the A/C was dripping condensation on us. Food was ok, service not so good. Sorry to say we will never return!

The servers here are so kind and thoughtful! Last time, I tried the turkey hash, and it was a great choice. I was on the fence about trying something new, but will definitely crave it later!! My mom is obsessed with the turkey chili, which is also great. I have had their breakfast egg meal and quesadillas, and everything has been delicious. Extra points for La Vazza coffee, which is so good too. Ambiance is a cute modern farm-ish style. Would definitely recommend.
