Patio seating is a must! Such a chill vibe. Dogs are welcome, and it's super cute with yellow and white stripe awnings and cute comfy chairs. The service was perfection. Very attentive and knowledgeable. Portions are TINY so be prepared to order 2 dishes. It was fine for me but my date had a minuscule portion of ceviche. Definitely wasn't enough for him. Luckily, they have fantastic sourdough bread, beautifully presented, so he survived lol. I ordered the roasted gulf oysters - their interpretation of oysters Rockefeller. They were delicious but small. 5 very small oysters. At Willie G's for comparison, they give you 6 very large oysters. This minor critique won't keep me away though. Bottom line: I'll definitely be back SOON! Awesome weekend brunch spot on a pretty day. Anxious to try the wedge salad with shrimp next!Edited to add: I've been back 2 times since the above review and want to add more about the food. Lobster roll was very good and a normal size portion. The shoe string potato stack was more delicious than the sandwich lol... We also had raw oysters, yum. Espresso martinis were nice. The crispy snapper is supposed to be amazing, getting that in a few days lol.. I'm quickly turning into a regular. Love this place!!! You will too XX

Went to Clark's for a date night. We sat inside and the candle-lit bustling restaurant was a really nice ambiance. I personally really liked the quality of their crudo plate and crab cake (very good crab). I did enjoy their basque cake as well.Overall, an enjoyable experience.

As a fan of the Austin location, I wanted to love it so much. Sadly the service was so bad that it damped the entire lunch. I came for lunch in Jan with two friends for a fancy birthday celebratory lady lunch. Our server started out strong, friendly, good guidance through the menu. The bread service was delicious - this I will give them hands-down. Shrimp toast was ok, Wedge Salad with Shrimp was ok, Basically of the 7 things we ordered everything was a solid "meh". And very expensive for being pretty basic. Cocktails were not balanced. We had 3 signatures - all not drinkable. But here's the deal guys - we were there for a birthday. We coursed, we ate, we drank - regardless of it being the best meal of our lives - and we were there the drop money. For the absolute life of us WE COULD NOT GET OUR SERVER TO COME BACK TO THE TABLE TO ORDER DESSERT. 45 minutes. 45 minutes of trying to make eye contact, trying to stack plates, trying to wave him down. He legit disappeared at one point. He was waiting on tables next to us and wouldn't step over and read the room. It was so bad that when we finally hit a timeframe where we simply had to LEAVE we had to stand up and make him think we were walking our check while my two lunch buddies ran out to Valet. I stood there jacket on for 5 minutes until he saw them outside and ran over where I then had to request our check so that we could settle up. No one likes paying for the party after it's over - and making someone wait, miss dessert (AT A BIRTHDAY LUNCH), and then stand in the middle of your restaurant waiting for you to close us out is miserable. There is no recovery fail for this basic step of service. Please do better.

Gas station turned into a gorgeous restaurant for an upscale seafood experience! My family has enjoyed the Clark's in Austin and was excited to hear a location opened in Houston. Parking can get tricky in this area but there is complimentary valet available. Valet area is tiny so it might take a bit to get your car in and out. There's lots of seating both inside and outside with beautiful, modern farmhouse vibes! Oysters are pricey at $4/each but fresh, though I'm no oyster expert so it was hard for me to tell the difference between the different oysters we ordered. Favorite dish was mussels & clams, and the bread that it came with was also good. Tuna sandwich and oven roasted oysters (came with 6 pieces) were good but salty and a bit too saturated for me. Fries are super thin, crispy, and delicious. All in all a great dining experience and would bring my family again!

Came here for the first time with some friends and we really enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service. The food was great, everything was extremely fresh and came out quick. We tried all 10 oysters and they were all really good. Also had the mussels & clams, octopus, and fries and everything was 10/10. The restaurant I believe used to be a gas station. The gas station canopy is still there and it gives the restaurant a unique look. The service was amazing. At first we asked to be seated inside but then we saw how beautiful it was outside so we asked if we could be seated outside and our server kindly moved us. The only thing that was a downside is that it's street parking or valet, however their valet service is efficient.

We had an OK experience - I think it may have been an off night for them. They were very busy! Our main issue was service was lacking... We were there from 8:15 to after 11pm and had issues getting drink refills. We had to grab our waiter multiple times to either out in our orders, get more drinks, or even the check. That experience really defined the evening for us. We'll have to come back in the future and see if it was just a one off thing or because we had a big group (10 people). Parking: They have plenty of valet parking and we opted for that option. The design of the parking and the patio leading right to the front door is really nice. Food/Drinks: We had a big group, so we tried a lot of drinks. By the end of the evening, almost everyone was ordering Pims Cups, so that was a clear favorite and worth a try! We also ordered several types of oysters to share which is a great way to start off! I personally had the pasta and loved it (it's not as spicy as I would have expected based on the description which was a positive thing for me!)Seating: We had a bigger group (10 people) and were sat at the outside picnic table (though it was only set for 8 when we arrived though we had a reservation for 10 and confirmed that when we checked in). While the picnic table seating was accommodating it was pretty uncomfortable for the length of time we were there (since the service was very slow). They seemed to have cushions on most other seating outside which ranged from 2-4 tops. There was seating inside as well. Other things to note: They have a big fish tank inside which I love The restrooms are pretty nice and are single stall. For the price, we felt the service was extremely lacking.

We had a lovely and delicious Sunday lunch. We tried the fresh East Coast oysters, caviar, Branzino, octopus, crab cake, mussels, and clams, and everything was tasty. We also had excellent service. The restaurant has a casual and airy vibe. They had a long walkway that accommodated heated outdoor seating.

Food is delish. Service spot on. Vibe is perfect. Outside area is amazing. The crab cake was my favorite part of the meal, but everything was stellar.

We had a good experience here last Friday! We made a last minute resy, so unfortunately it was only outdoor tables. The heat lamps were helpful but they weren't able to move it right by us, so I just got a bit while my husband didn't get any warmth from the heat lamp. They brought out blankets to us both, so I def bundled up in that to stay warm. The bread service is a nice, crusty sourdough bread served with salt and butter. For our app, we got the octopus which was cooked perfectly. It was topped with bell peppers, olives, and chicharron. For our entrees, we got the scallops, a side of crab meat Mac and cheese, and the cioppino. Everything was delish!!! The scallops were cooked perfectly and slightly sweet. We picked the salsa verde sauce, but it honestly didn't need it. We just squeezed the lemon over it and it was perfect. The crab meat Mac and cheese was very good, but as it sat out longer in the cold, it got hard. So we tried to eat it as quickly as we could. The cioppino was perfect for sharing! Good hearty portion with a good variety of seafood. The crusty garlic sourdough they brought out with it was so good! The tomato broth was super flavorful. For dessert, we got the basque cake and that was just ok. It was my least favorite part of the meal and I would skip next time. Overall, service was great but it was just cold outside. They're working on getting more blinds/covers installed so that will hopefully help in the future.

Omg this place is SO good!! The bread & butter, ceviche, oysters (honeymoon were our favorite), the mignonette that goes with those, mussels & clams, lobster roll, and the most amazing shrimp toast I've ever had in my life! Wow! So impressed. I'm in love! That shrimp toast was actually the best dish of the night and when dipped into the mussel & clam broth - holllyyyy shhh**t. Amazing! Will be coming here at least once every other week for sure! The only complaint would be how loud it gets inside, sitting outside on the lovely patio next time. Service was pretty good too, if we needed something and the server wasn't in sight, another server would gladly assist. I loved that when we had an empty dish, someone was over to clear it right away, clean the table, and reset for the next dish. This place is easily one of the top 5 seafood spots in Houston - easy!! The ceviche was bright, nice acidity, and had perfect thinly sliced jalapeño all throughout - loved that! The brunoise cucumber and red onion and just that sauce they had with the super fresh tasting fish was so freaking good. I actually topped my oyster with it and slurped it down. Yum! The mussels & clams were served steaming hot and perfectly cooked. The broth was soooo good!! Lobster roll had crispy soft buttery bread and the lobster mixture was creamy with big chunks of lobster. But - the dish that stood out the most - think of a toasted crispy on the outside pillowy soft on the inside slice of bread topped with a thick layer of perfectly cooked shrimp and the right amount of spicy aioli that basically melted in your mouth - never had anything like it and I love the Chinese version of shrimp toast so this was truly amazing to me. Anyways - go there and get the shrimp toast and dip it in the mussel & clam broth.
