Found this hidden neighborhood gem while searching for BBQ spot on Yelp Locust Grove, GA. They have indoor seating and to-go ordering options. Man oh man is the food good here! Decided to get the Salisbury steak over rice, collard greens, mac n cheese and corn bread muffin. My husband got the rib plate with collard greens and corn bread dressing and brown gravy. Everyone knows dessert comes first in my book so you know I had to have the peach cobbler. Everything we got was delicious and nicely seasoned, large portions (enough for 2 people). Prices are reasonable and great value for the money. Glad we found them!

This is a wonderful surprise to have a BLACK owned Soul Food in the McDonough/Locust Grove area. The food is down home style good and tasty I could add some of my home chef suggestions but I'll pass. The place is clean and nicely decorated. The biggest compliment I can give is the staff. No lip smacking attitudes. Hallelujah and thank you Jesus. The staff had some pep in their step, very polite and accommodating. This is a place that is worth the money.

Was pretty excited to have one last meal in Georgia before I left to come back to California. This place did not disappoint as i cannot find authentic southern food in the Bay Area.The fried chicken was amazing, the turnips were excellent and the sweet potato soufflé was like nothing i have had before( a bit too sweet since i am not use to eating sugar ). Highly recommend if you are in the Atlanta area.Cost very reasonableFood- fresh!!!!Service- excellent

If I could give 10 stars I would I feel like 5 is not nearly enough based on my GREAT experience.First of all when I walked in I noticed right away how clean the restaurant was which is what I always look for before I eat somewhere. The service was exceptional, I was greeted with a very warm welcome when I entered, automatically made me feel like I mattered, the gentleman that took my order was so patient and kind , it was my first time and he explained everything and he answered all my questions . I could tell his number goal was to make sure I had an enjoyable experience and it showed by his willingness to help. We got our food and the food was reasonably priced , which this mama was so appreciative of. The food , if I had to describe in one word I would have to say AMAZING!! The food was seasoned to perfection, a lot of soul food places that I have visited tends to over season but not this establishment! The food was so good , a little bit of heaven on earth. You will not go wrong with anything that you get We bought a variety of items and everything was on POINT!! It's refreshing to go somewhere to spend money where the people are extremely nice and welcoming, food is amazing and the place is super clean!! Then I got an opportunity to meet the manager and I can understand why they have the triple effect Great food , Exceptional Service and Cleanliness.The manager cares about his customers and it shows by the way they run their business I pray God blesses this business to stay open for many years to come and whatever needs this restaurant may have in future , I pray God meets their needs. If you are ever in the Area please go by and check them out , you Will NOT BE disappointed!! As soon as you walk in you are greeted. The servers at the desk very courteous. I ordered ribs, collard greens and Mac n cheese. The food was delicious, I will definitely visit again.
