City Pizza of 16th St

It's amazing to see what these guys do with so little space! I ordered a couple of large pizza's for a local lunch visit and I was shocked at the price and at the operation itself.When I called to order I was sad to find out they only have large pizza's, but to get two large for $16 and change is a great deal! I arrived several minutes early and watched the staff with awe. The guy manning the pizza ovens was constantly checking, pushing, twisting and pulling and cutting pizza's from all different areas of the ovens. He had stacks of pizza boxes near him and just kept filling them up with pie's one by one. The grill/sandwich station was tucked in the corner and a guy who may be the owner was busy working away. Delivery guys were popping in and dodging the phone girls who patiently took order after order. It was quite the show and I appreciated how they were all so nice and calm despite having a crazy lunch rush on a hot/above average temp spring day.The pizza itself was solid, well cooked, fresh ingredients, just the right ratios of cheese/sauce for me. I couldn't argue with the price or the product.The people I brought the pizza to share with all agreed that City Pizza is their go to in the area. One said, "You can't go wrong with them in this neighborhood."I agree, thanks guys!

This place has stepped their game up in the past year. Consistently great pizza every time at a good price.

Just alright for a stromboli. I was told that the pizza is fine, but my first experience here, I called in for a large pepperoni stromboli and made sure to ask for two sides of sauce. Apparently it comes with two already! After about 30 minutes, the food was ready when we got there, but upon getting home, realized that they didn't put the sauce inside. Headed back to grab it. The large stromboli was pretty big, with plenty of cheese and some pepperoni, but it was the greasiest one I've ever had. The dough was soft and on the undercooked side, so the order was maybe rushed. Overall, average pizza place, but I've heard the bacon pizza was consistently good.

Been ordering from this place for so long I don't remember when I started, but I know it was when they first opened. Have never disappointed me. Great pizza, Strombolis and my favorite, Calzones. They are very affordable too. If you want a thin sliced classic Philly/NY pizza, then this is the place.

Hit or miss. Ordered a delivery from work and salads were amazing. Ordered a pick up the next day and portions were cut in half and the chef salad looked like the photo. No cheese. No extras. Ugh.

Great Spot ! we love the pizza and slices here.Cheesesteaks, delivery, sodas, tons of options and great pizzas. Suggest ordering a full pizza, but sometimes the single slices are just as good, if not better!

Always good. Love the pizzas & Stromboli... My only complaint is that I love to eat an they are a little lite on the sides. Toss some mushrooms on it and make those 2 sides of gravy bigger. Just give it and I'll toss in a few more dollars. ;)

I order from City Pizza all the time. Never disappointed, but I just got a well done Sicilian pizza from there and it was the best ever!!!

Pizza is hit or miss, I guess according to who is making it. Sandwiches are great!!! Never got a bad sandwich. Service is also excellent. They just have to work a little on being consistent with Pizza.

I have been going to this particular city pizza for years and never had a problem their food is delicious. So it really hurts me that I have to write this. I purchased 2 boxes of pizza get them home and they both were burnt and dried out, I'm not talking about a little burnt because I have pizza that is eatable with some burnt on it but it was so bad the kids wouldn't eat it and what made it worse was when I called to tell the mag about it all he said was his staff sometimes put the oven to high and he was sorry. He didn't offer to credit me for another one at a later date, I didn't want a refund which I told him I just believe he couldn't and should have handled it better especially since he said it was their fault for having the oven to high
