Tasteful and festive holiday decorations.
The shrimp cocktail appetizer. Applewood-smoked bacon was very flavorful and shrimp. Would recommend.
Rigatoni Frankie. Nice char-grilled flavor on the chicken.

We brought our two children to this restaurant, and were not 100% impressed. We waited around 50 minutes for our table, and the hostess had told us it would be a 15 minute wait. This ordinarily would not have been a dealbreaker, but our two very young children were with us. The waiter, James, was amazing. He made us feel at home and brought the food out ASAP-- he said he had noticed us waiting, that is why I am giving this 3 stars. The food was alright, but the service we received from James was PERFECTION. He made our young children happy and excited to eat, which does not happen often. Thank you James!!!!

Ciro's Restaurant has wonderful Italian comfort food. I have eaten here for almost 30 years and it never disappoints. Ciro, the owner, is a gem!!! The new restaurant kept the wonderful ambiance that we all love. Everything is fresh and beautifully played. Feels like home!

I actually can't believe there aren't more reviews at this place because it's a go-to for many people. It's always crowded and it's like a family restaurant.... With extras! The only thing I can say is this is is extremely consistent ! I know I didn't leave Five star review, which brings me to the Reason...Yummy, hot and fresh Bread is served. It's made every 5, 10 minutes and it is absolutely delicious. I love dipping it in the olive oil and spices. It just brings a certain flare to any dish. Whether you order a big meal or a small plate, the bread sets it off completely. It's also extremely authentic and used to be baked in a hearthstone oven set right behind the bartenders. It might still be!The outside covered patio was awesome and was perfect for a large party size. I saw several families celebrating events. There's so much space at this restaurant. There's an upstairs. There's a patio inside and out as well as a front foyer area where you can order gelato to go or sit at the bar and enjoy a glass of wine with friends and family .. or travelers or people from the surrounding neighborhoods... You're sure to find a few smiling faces.I know this restaurant has been around a long time and it's even gone through remodeling & upgrade but I will tell you this the family feeling never left. The food is delicious and the tenured staff helps keep the feeling alive.Half star is reflective of the small ladies room. It seemed as though it could use a revamping remodeling or something. A restaurant that size especially (on a weekend) really needs to have a (larger) better equipped/accommodating restrooms for the guests. Happy hour starts early so get there around 2:00 and have at it!

A cool place in Houston suggested by friends on Super Bowl Sunday before driving home. The brunch menu has a number of interesting plate descriptions which made my decision difficult. I decided on "The Man" which is a pork Milanese topped with two eggs a side of fried potatoes and fruit. The pork was tender and delicious although a little dry for me. I think a cilantro hollandaise would match up well and elevate the dish. Service was perfect and the ambiance was a beautiful Italian decor. If I lived in Houston I'd be dining at Ciro's once a week.

*This review is for the bar area only.*I had cocktails here with my sister-in-law while our teenaged daughters were shopping nearby. It was time to take a load off in the AC. The bartender who helped up was fantastic. He gave me the rundown of their 2 sangrias and I went with the white. He was friendly, professional and helpful. Our drinks were delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was chic and relaxing. Also, their happy hour special menu had some pretty good appetizer options, unfortunately we had just eaten lunch elsewhere. Next time.

First time visit. We got there a little bit before 5 so we can eat and get to our engagement at 6. We did exactly that. I got something I hadn't tried before which was the crab meat tortellini. It was flavorful and a perfect proportion. My husband got the rigatoni Frankie and it had a nice char-grilled flavor on the chicken, very nice. The appetizer the Shrimp Dale was very good. We would recommend it, we will be back

This is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. We followed it from the prior 2 locations. I'm usually spaghetti with meat sauce and a meat ball. The meat sauce is thick, not thin and runny. I have an old fashion and it's always awesome. One day I estimated the years and number of times per month and the average bill and realized I had spent about $65,000 there.
