Cinco is the latest restaurant to occupy this real estate in the Akers Mill shopping center. The two story structure is beautifully decorated and has ample free parking near restaurant entrance in surrounding plaza. The location is convenient to 285 and 75, and just down the street from the Battery complex.The interior was equally impressive with booths, high top tables with embossed chairs and bar seating options. The bar was already full with patrons seated at every corner at 3 pm. The bartender was very pleasant but could have used some help to serve in a timely fashion. We had to ask for basics like chips and salsa a few times and also to place drink orders. The bartender was accommodating and brought our margaritas - original, frozen for my friend and on the rocks for me. I also ordered a quesadilla with portobello mushrooms and spinach. Everything was tasty, and restaurant provided the perfect location to catch up with my friend. Will check out the upstairs next time.

Got the Tacos Carnitas Tacos, Seasonal Pork Belly Tacos and a Moscow Mule. Carnitas was very juicy, very well made. Really enjoyed them. Pork Belly Tacos were alright - the chipotle mayo flavor stood out above all the other ingredients Moscow Mule was good - well made, not sure if it was intentional or if the bar ran out - but there was no mint leaf for the Moscow mule. Atmosphere was fairly quiet at the time, not too busy Server Jackie was very welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed the visit

Awesome place for a wonderful Mexican food ! Unbelievable specials on specific days .. pic attached. Chicken fajitas were superb ! Chips and salsa in the beginning - fresh and delicious. Very spacious Inside and outside. My friends got Taco and quesadilla and both really liked their food as well. The server was very good. Food came so fast and piping hot. I didn't pay attention on about beans on the side and I asked if I could get black beans and with a huge smile, I got the side I wanted. Great preparation of food and love the place !!! Definitely coming back here, soon again !

Place was great!The honest was a little awkward and we didn't realize we were being seated. She just walked off and didn't say anything. Oh well.The Salsa was good, you could taste the smokey flavor with a nice smooth Tomato finish. I'm guessing they grill their peppers before making the Salas. Also, they didn't make it hard to get. The waitstaff give us two bowls of salsa to get us started. I ordered a 3 Taco plate and was able to order 3 different Taco's. One of them had an egg in it. There was a piece of lettuce in there as well. This really added a lot of crunch per bite. It was not the usual Taco! The decore and walls had a very modern-day feel. Nice and clean! Actually wanted ro come back and try more menu options!

Stopped in after a little shopping in the Cumberland area with my mother. It was around 3:30 so it was pretty slow. We were instantly greeted and seated . Our servers were very nice and checked on us appropriately throughout the meal.Our food selections and beverages were all very tasty! We truly have nothing negative to share. In the mood for good Mexican food in a nice atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend it. We will patronize again and try different dishes next time!

I ordered the grill baja fish taco. It was great... the next time I will have to get it with lite coleslaw. Our bartender was cool and help out with every question. The atmosphere was pleasant and fun. It makes me feel like I'm in Mexico on vacation with the vibes from the music. Plus it's beautiful out today. There are other days where there are different special throughout the week. If my review entices you to come... first drink is on me. Lol.

It's Mexican food. But more can I say. We had a group of about 15 that was in town for business. This was just around the corner and made it easy. Walk for dinner one evening. Our waitress was pretty good and very attentive considered we have the large group. I'm actually surprised that they did not give her assistance with our large party. But overall, she did pretty good. Kept the appetizers and entrées all in order. It was able to handle the drink orders. I would come back if I was in the area looking for some Mexican again.

Try the strawberry mango Texas margaritas( yes they willMix the flavors) Amazing! My son and I decided to dine in on Taco Tuesday, with the tacos being only three dollars, we decided to get the chicken and the fish taco and we also ordered the appetizer dip, I am not a fan of the fish taco, the sauce was not the best, It was kind of sweet and the chicken taco was very plain and dry. The service was absolutely great. Maria took really good care of us! I would come here for the drinks only at this point. The place is absolutely beautiful, very clean and open. Parking is good and the prices are great!

Felt like somewhere quick. Tried takeout at Cinco. The service was ok. Waited for about 4 min before being helped. Once helped was better, chips and salsa quick ad well as drink. The order also made it out very quick. It took a while to close the check. The margarita was decent had a good amount of tequila which is good. The food-- the takeout order of the carnitas bowl was not a bowl but a box of carnitas, rice and beans on the side. I combined the ingredients in a bowl when i got home. You could tell the rice was cooked with a little too much oil when I transferred it. The beans were good and the carnitas was a little too salty.The tacos were ok. Had the carnitas tacos, baja fish and fried chicken. Same comment for the carnitas. The fish was better but a little heavy on the glaze, could have used more spice from the jalapeño mayo. The fried chicken tacos were pretty good.You can tell there are patrons that go there all the time and they definitely get good attention. I think some of the details of service for someone new can improve.In all pretty good for a quick drink and takeout.
