Stopped in after a long time this restaurant was on my list and decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did! We participated in the AZ Restaurant Week event and ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees - Tuna Tostada & Cup of Clam Chowder and Shrimp Burrito & Tuna Melt. All the items were really tasty, fresh, and flavorful! I thoroughly enjoyed all the food and enjoyed how high quality it was. We also ordered a regular menu item - 3 pc fish & chips which were good! The fries ended up being a bit soggy because of the oil from the fish on top. The easy fix is to keep them separate instead of stacked. Ambiance is very cute and casual like a coastal cafe. I would come back when I'm craving quality grade and fresh seafood.

I am not a seafood fan in general, sadly enough, I wish I were. However, with that said I do like shrimp, some lobster, and crab. I had samples from Chula Seafood at an event last year. Those samples were so delish I remembered them. I came back today on my way home after a theater show in DT Phx. The shrimp tacos are really just so yummy. The inside is decorated cute. Most of the staff were good. One guy was kind of stand offish but everyone else was efficient and friendly. You counter order then sit down and they bring you your food. I will come back to try other things. The AZ Restaurant Week special looks like a great deal. It is a bit pricey.

The service was great, the guy who took our order was so nice! It's hard to find good fish all the time in Arizona but this place is great. We got the clam chowder which was really good, just wish it had been a bit warmer when it arrived to our table. We also got the Hawaiian poke with ahi tuna. The tuna was really good but this wasn't our favorite poke we've ever had. The star of the show was the crispy fish tacos. These were insane, they came with a side of chips and salsa too. Will definitely be returning for the fish tacos!

Bought their salmon this week, smelled unusually fishy when I unwrapped. Called store, was told they were cut that day and a degree of odor is expected. Pan fried the following day after dry brining overnight, inedible, bad fish. Would try Nelson's instead

Fresh seafood. Good vibes. Friendly service. Casual atmosphere.It has been a few years since my last review but this Chula's location is still going strong. It's definitely a place we visit often due to the quality and consistency of the food...This is admittedly less of a destination for a fancy date, but it's a great place for a casual meet-up amongst friends, with your partner or family.There is both indoor and outdoor seating as well.Enjoy!

This place has been on my list for a while and I'm so glad I finally indulged! A friend had recommended me their fresh seafood here and I was determined to try just that. I settled on a poke bowl since I was actually having dinner later that day so I wanted to keep it light. Luckily, the poke bowl was light and easy to enjoy, while still filling me up with its protein! The sashimi (I ordered salmon and tuna) were fresh and cold, and soooo delicious. The seasoning was don't just right. Everything about it was well balanced. My friend got the seasoned salmon (I'm unsure of the entire order) but it was just as impressionable!It's a very casual place, self serve for condiments and no table service. But that's actually preferred as it felt more like market-style and authentically driven by the food instead of the aesthetic or experience! It was also very clean and easy to walk through. I would definitely recommend for seafood lovers!

Arrived for lunch and tried the Korean poké bowl. Plenty of seating even outside. The menu has a lot to offer. You get a number after you order and they bring the food to you. Off the back, the bowl looked great! I got the salmon and spicy tuna which came with large slices of cucumber, arugula, jalapeños, and carrots. I was bummed the bowl had an overload of jalapeño and carrots but I still ate it. Next time, I'll skip the bowl and go for the salmon or fried fish. Staff was great. I'd come here again with my husband to try.

The food was delicious. The fish tacos were wonderful. I highly recommend it. The guys were attentive and did the restaurant was clean.

Fresh and awesome seafood options. I make a special trip to Chula Seafood because of how good the food is. I tried a surf and turf burrito my first visit. This second time I ordered the swordfish Cubano off the happy hour menu. It was full of flavor with a little spice to it. So much more to try!
