I hesitate to review this place, because seating is limited and it's already overly crowded at most times. But it is without a doubt the best authentic Korean restaurant in the triangle area. I've been living in the triangle since 1990 and I am 100% korean. I've eaten in korean restaurants and korean foods my entire life including all over LA, DC, Philadelphia, NYC areas and of course countless places all over Korea. This place is the real deal. They keep their selection reasonably specialized. The incheon/manchurian specialties of jjamppong and jjajangmyeon are like dishes right in Incheon. I don't want to badmouth the other well known korean places in the area, but they are severely wanting comparatively.

The restaurant is inside a grocery store and they sell other foods too like Korean corn dogs and taiyaki. The eating area isn't the biggest, it might be hard to find enough seating for a party more than 4. The service was good, the owners were friendly and asked if we enjoyed our meal afterwards. I ordered the Kimchi fried rice and it came with a side of vegetables and soup. The portion of rice is a lot, probably better as a dish meant to share because there's no protein besides 1 egg. The taste was good as well and had a kick to it. Would come again to try their other dishes and pastries!

Choi's Kitchen is INSIDE K-Town Market but is a separate entity. They have a separate register and no table service. Think of it as a mall food court type place. Look at the menu on the wall and figure our what you are going to get. Politely get the attention of the cashier and stand where the restaurant register is. BE PATIENT. There is usually only one or two people working the entire store. Order and pay at the register and take your order number and find a table if it is available. If all tables are in use, it would be a good idea to wait near the entry way. No one is going to call you for the table, only your food. You can order takeout if that is better for you. They have online ordering. Everything I have eaten at this cafe has been authentic and flavorful. The KFC takes 30+ minutes to cook but it is very very worth it. I get my sauce on the side when it is to go and they are happy to oblige. Yes it is $20+ but you are getting a whole chicken and some amazing sauce as well as chicken moo (sweet/tangy pickled turnip bites). It is my opinion that they have the best Korean Fried Chicken in the Triangle area. Yes, better than Chicken Bee and Bonchon! You will have to clean your own table before you sit, grab your own untentils, napkins, etc. They have free barley tea and water. If you want anything else, you will need to buy them in the store. Be sure to have someone save your table as it can fill up fast. If you are dining alone, be kind and offer to have other singletons sit by you. Please keep in mind this is a SMALL business and not a fast food restaurant. If you are not in a rush, this place will rock your tastebuds!
