Chinatown Chinese Restaurant

On a scale of "80s housewife trying to make Chinese food" to "delicious Chinese food," this is definitely tending towards the first one. I got beef and broccoli and an egg drop soup. Rice was old or undercooked, so it was crunchy--I tossed it and ate leftover rice at home. Broccoli was overcooked, and the sauce had too much white pepper which gave it a kind of "old socks" aroma. Egg drop soup tasted good but had the same white pepper issue. Service was friendly enough, but other Chinese places in the area are way better. Probably won't return.

There are a lot of Chinese places around. They all seem similar. This one does everything in peanut oil which makes a difference. Better egg roles than the other nearby ones. Always go with the General Tso, Beef Lo Mein, or Mu Shu Pork. Looks like a hole in the wall, but the best Chinese spots usually do.

The food here is the typical chinese delivery food, but the deals are fabulous! In their menu, they have a section for "family specials" where you get a ton of food for little dough. You can feed each person for about $5 per person! Who can ask for more?!

Best Chinese food in the area. Spicy General sous chicken, chicken fried rice, wonton soup and sweet and sour chicken are our go-tos.

We order out from Chinatown 2-3 times a month. The food is typical, but still authentic, and delicious. The staff is friendly, the orders are always filled accurately, and they are very flexible in making changes to their menu items. Prices are VERY reasonable as well. We've tried all the Asian restaurants in the area and this remains our "go to" or "go back to" place for traditional Chinese fare.

My family has been going here years. They are a very friendly, busy place. I've never had to wait for my pick up orders. The food is very good. It's not authentic, but neither are any of the other pick up chinese places. We have tried many other ones in the norther DE and the southern DELCO area. Can't find anything better than this place. If you get the combo or the family specials, you get more food for your money.We will continue coming here!

went here recently, as I've never tried the place before. Went to the counter, asked a question about scallops and the woman replied, then answered the phone. Not once, but 3 times. So i said "wow" out loud. She looked at me, and answered 5 or 6 more calls and I turned around and walked out. Not worth spending my $ there if the customers on the phone (about 10 of them) are more important than me while I stand right in front of the woman ready to order, $ in hand.

The food was really good. I really enjoyed the bo-bo platter. It includes 14 different appetizers. If you're looking for Chinese food, this is the place.
