Love the dine in area. Cute, clean, inviting and lots of 4 tops. Went for soup. Chicken and rice was just that. Broth. Chicken, mostly lean, and rice. Hit the spot but nothing to rave about. My friend had the wonton. Same reaction. Good but nothing special. Crab Rangoon. Cheesy and fluffy. The wonton was thicker than many places in the area, making them more flaky and crunchy. My order was taken and presented with a kind smile. I felt welcome. Honestly, that was the reason I tried a new place. My friend's usual go to in Smithfield has poor customer service. Would come back to try other items

Great sized portions and delicious food. I haven't tried anything yet that I didn't like. And their egg rolls are hot, crispy and delicious. The service is friendly too

China Star is always consistently good, cheap, and well portioned! I am so happy it's so close to us because we order it often. I've never dined in, we've always gotten to go, but the service is always so sweet whether we call it in or order at the counter. I've never physically been in so I can't speak to the ambience of it just yet! Their wonton egg drop soup is AMAZING! It's a must order every time. We always order egg rolls, we switch between their traditional and their shrimp, so delicious every time. Their fried rice is good no matter what meat you choose or if you choose to go veggie! I always order the orange chicken and it is always tasty. My fiancé differs on his orders but said the boneless spare ribs are definitely his favorite. The chicken egg foo young is delicious and huge portions, definitely a good choice for sharing. We're always happily eating leftovers for a few days after.

This Chinese takeout store feeds my family, at least once a week, since 2004. The staff is great, service is FAST (ten minutes max) and the food is very good. Try the Kung Pao Chicken, Broccoli with Garlic Sauce and the fried jumbo shrimp. Large size of each entree will generally feed 2-3 people. We order extra so we'll have leftovers for the next day.You can feed a family of four for around 30-40$

I am a college student and I tend to miss my mother's cooking. So whenever I am homesick, I like to visit Chinese restaurants and try their dumplings. Or if it is cold out, I will get some soup. Today was one of those days where I was missing home, so I went out and ordered some steamed dumplings and egg drop soup here. The dumplings were warm and doughy. And the soup was so comforting. The service was good and the people there are really sweet. Due to Covid, they wear masks and complete transactions in a Covid safe way. If you are patient, you will receive good service and fresh food. 非常好吃！

Food was not good. Chicken was soggy and the chicken wings had a ton of feathers. I'll try to see if maybe it was that day but this is my first impression of the place
